Yay or Nay: Lea Michele's Sheer Dress and Corset

Lea Michele is a bonafide hottie. Not only is she a hottie but she's talented and she seems like (I am basing this on pure speculation) a genuinely nice person. So why on Earth she felt she had to wear this outfit and be this tanned, I really don't know. Are you compensating for something Lea?

Lea walked the red carpet at the Elle Women in Hollywood event in a one piece lace body suit corset type thing with a sheer striped maxi dress over top. Adding to the effect was an overtan and nude lips combo.

I guess we can go the 'avant garde' route here and say she was dressing the part for the Elle Women in Hollywood event but, Lea, you still have some explaining to do (re: tan).

I'm just so confused about this outfit. If you're going to go with a corset body suit, does it make sense to layer it with a sheer long sleeve, floor length and high neckline dress? It's a lot and not enough skin all at the same time. At least the shoes, though basic, are cute.

I think that what I take most issue with here is the makeup. She seems overly bronzed and contoured to me. The eyes are pretty but that lipstick is not doing it for me. Way too pale!

What do you think of this outfit and makeup? Is it a yay or a nay? Leave your vote down below by October 28th and you could win!

Nay! That thing is awful. If she wants to show that much skin, why even wear that stupid see-through thing on top?

nay, maybe with a sheer chiffon maxi skirt instead?

Nay. Could have work if it was a little black dress under instead of that 1920's swimsuit.

I think the solid corset and THICK vertical lines actually make it look very chic. It works!

Nay for this look. The dress is awkward and the makeup is not working for her.
