Yay or Nay: Marisa Tomei in Christian Dior
Marisa Tomei is 47 years old and she looks good. She has that effortlessly chic quality to her, doesn't she? Just a naturally beautiful woman and I am incredibly jealous and a bit sad that though she could be my mother, she looks better than I do.
Well, maybe I am not so jealous of this outfit though.
First off, love the shoes. Rose gold accent and a sleek pointy toe? Hawt. I've already mentioned that I think she's a knockout so while this minimal makeup isn't my favourite and I would have preferred a darker lip colour, I will let it slide.
My real issue is with this bias cut, horizontal striped dress. I am just not quite sure what is with it. I love the colour combo of deep plum and soft pink but the stripes and the bizarre cut ruin it for me. It's not flattering at all. She could do so much better. I think something fitted and tailored would have really shown off her figure.

Nay - it doesn't flatter her at all - no shape, and that shade of pink doesn't suit her. They seem to have accentuated the bags under her eyes. I like her shoes, though!
Nay, It's missing a belt and it needs to loose the front flap or whatever it is.

I have to say Nay....great colours on the dress, but its shapeless, confusing
I like the idea of the dress but the cut could be better, nay on the shoes
nay. Even though she is looking youn always, the makeup makes her look tired and the zig-zag on the dress is tiring my eyes.
love the colours, but really not into the outfit as a whole. Cute shoes though!
O nay... just nay... the whole dress on her is just very unstructured, and she looks tired herself.
I say Yay..I like it on her!
