Yay or Nay?: Pippa Middleton's Red Dress

Sometimes I feel like I can't go anywhere without hearing something about Pippa Middleton! She managed to outshine almost everyone simply by wearing a form fitted white dress at a certain high-profile wedding (you may vaguely remember her sister who married the prince!); this time she's making news for a risque red dress.

Pippa attended the Boodles Charity Boxing Ball last Saturday and wore a red satin dress by Temperley London. The dress has quite the plunging neckline with a halter criss cross detail on the back. The dress also has a fabulous floral decoration at the waist line. I actually really like this dress on her- it is flattering and daring but Pippa is young and so I think she should be showing off a little bit (just like Taylor Swift the other week)!

Many fashion critics have suggested that Pippa should be covering up, especially given her status in society. What do you think, is this neckline too much in general or just too much for her? Is it in appropriate or totally fitting? Classy or just trashy?

NAY- why her lips are competing with her dress! The dress makes a statement as it is but with the red lips she is shifting her attention you look up and down and really it's all over the place. I think too seeing her look as fabulous as she has in many other photos this is a not her!

YAY I think it looks suitable for an evening event. She isn't wearing a J-LO outfit, it's an evening gown! Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeautiful!

Dress looks great and there was no nipple-slip accident so I feel bad for Pippa she's getting so much reaction to the gown. You only live once!
I'm sure the Middleton's are well aware of the Do's & Don'ts being aligned with a Royal Family. Kate brother seems like a wild child I'm sure the Royal Family Rules have been distributed LOL

I think she looks GREAT! She's obviously a total babe. I think she's young. she's gorgeous, and she's not technically a member of the royal family so there's no need for her to dress as conservatively as her sister. I say yay also because I don't have the guts to wear something like this. The bottom line here is, if you got it - flaunt it!

The dress is lovely, and there is no doubt that it looks absolutely stunning on her. However, given that it was a CHARITY ball, I would say that she should have covered up a bit more. Maybe a small chic jacket on top just to cover up the cleavage a bit? But i have to admit that she knows how to pull such a dress off!

I'm going to say "nay"...it's a little loose-fitting on her. I think if this dress was tailored just a smidge more to her body, it would go from "nay" to "yay more acceptable". That being said, I love Pippa, her style, and I do want to like this dress on her!

There is no denying she looks absolutely fabulous. But she looks great in anything she wears. I think she should take some fashion advice from her sister Kate, who has shown the world that you can still look stunning without showing cleavage. Sometimes less is more and in this case I think the plunging neckline was too much.
