Yay or Nay?: Sequin Shorts

I haven't ever been quiet about my love for glitter here. This is the first time however, that I have questioned my love.
Here's the question- would you wear sequinned shorts?

(from top left) Tibi Sequin Shorts (US$285.00), Patrizia Pepe Sequin Shorts (C$145.00), Robbi and Nicki Snakeskin Sequin Shorts (C$263.23)
In theory, I love them- they're fun, sparkly, cute and look great with tights underneath. Here's something no one ever tells you about sequins though- when they dig in or if you brush up against someone, it hurts! Would the constant rubbing and itchy scratchy-ness cause sequin burned thighs?
Besides practicality, does a flashy and sparkly bum draw too much bad attention? Is it way too over the top (i.e. O.T.T.)?
Let's be real though- glitter is almost always O.T.T., it's in it's nature and we love it anyways, so why not?
What do you think of sequin shorts? Would you wear any of these? Are they a Yay or Nay? Leave us a comment by November 27th for a chance to win!

![]() | Hello Everyone! |
![]() | It's a nay for me...too tacky. |
![]() | Yay in the right color, and a short cut. Not bright red, but in a pewter or silver, with a plain white or black tee, I think they would look great. And it is a great time to show off a smoking pair of fishnets or tights with designs. Nothing colored though. |
![]() | Unfortunately, it's a nay for me this time. I can see how some other people can pull this piece of clothing off, but I definitely cannot. |
![]() | Not for me, I have a hard time getting my head around the whole shorts in winter thing as it is. |
![]() | Yay! I would pair it with simple boots and a plain white or black t shirt |

![]() | Nay!! Definitely not my thing- draws attention to the wrong area of the body (unless you're a size 2)...and I never quite got the whole dress short thing anyways! |
