Yay or Nay Teen Choice Awards 2012 Edition: Who was the Best Dressed?
This past Sunday were the Teen Choice Awards and while some of us aren't exactly 'teens' anymore (myself included), I will admit that I count myself a fan of many of the starlets that rocked the red carpet that night. What I love about the Teen Choice Awards is that the fashion isn't taken too seriously - it's fun and light hearted! This year's award show saw prints, glitter, peplums and lots of textures.
There were definitely a few ladies who hit it on the mark, but there were also a few who missed it by a mile. So in this Yay or Nay, we want you to compile your own list of the best dressed. We've rounded up a few of the most eye catching looks of the night and we're turning it back to you to let us know which of these looks are the yays and which ones you give a big ol' nay!
(from left) Hannah Simone of New Girl looks sweet in a summer floral dress. Even if it is a little 'garden party' for the event.
Does Hayden Panettiere remind anyone else of a Barbie?
Jordin Sparks shows off her long legs in a mini bubble dress, but I'm not sold on the style, are you?
Lea Michele wears a figure hugging, flattering dress, yet I expected more from her on the beauty side.
Carly Rae Jepsen is all set to safari! I love each piece separately but together, not so much.
Demi Lovato also takes a walk on the wild side in her dramatic and feathered outfit.
Taylor Swift goes for glam, in this pretty and feminine number. I think this one just might be my fave of the night.
Selena Gomez looks gorgeous in a bright pink number, though it's a bit simple for my taste.
Zoe Saldana is swallowed up by the excessive fabric and the mossy green colour of this dress. Not her best look.
Zooey Deschanel looks great in blue, but this dress is a bit ho-hum for my tastes.
I love the length of this skirt, but on Ashley Benson it's a bit dowdy and it isn't doing her any favours.
Lucy Hale's colour combo of gold and orange is gorgeous with her skin tone and hair colour.
Shay Mitchell always looks stunning and this yellow works well with her skin tone.
Troian Bellisario goes for ballerina chic, with a plunging neckline and layers of tulle.
Kristen Stewart stands out from the crowd in her printed menswear inspired blazer. The heels with leather pants are also a welcome change for her.
Gwen Stefani works an edgy look in all black and leather. The retro shades and shoes pull it all together.

My favorite looks are Taylor Swift and Kristen Stewart. My least favorites are Zooey Deschanel, maybe it is just a bad picture but that dress is doing nothing for her, and Carly Rae Jepsen, that dress is so short she is trying to slouch to cover up xD My honorable mention is Gwen Stefani, rockin' as always.
Gewn Stefani is my fav outfit, not a big fan of what everyone else was doing.
Jordin Sparks and I love the simplicity of Selena Gomez outfit. Zoe Saldana has the best shoes hands down, love that color.
