Yay or Nay: Whitney Port + Printed Pants
Whoa, Whitney! What's going on over here? When I look at Whitney Port in this office, I feel like someone needs to alert the police because she's a complete and utter victim. A fashion victim, that is.
This is the perfect example of doing too many trends at the same time and not pulling any of them off. Let's break up this crazy outfit first, shall we?
Let's take a look at her hair and makeup first because I think she looks really pretty here. I love her loose, romantic braid. Very organic and sweet matching her simple makeup.
Top: Then we go down to the top, which isn't too bad. I like denim button downs and I like that washed out look.
Bottom: Moving onto the pants. I'm not overly thrilled with these. I can't stand this photo print trend. Don't get me wrong, I love printed pants in general. Not so much on myself but generally, I'm a fan. What about you ladies? Would you wear printed pants? Here are a few options I found around the web, let me know what you think!
1. Altuzarra Redwood Tropical Print Flared Pants (US$542.50, on sale)
2. Black Milk Clothing Aurora Skye Legging (US$75.00)
3. ASOS Crop Trousers in Floral Print (C$70.58)
4. Zara Printed Trousers with Contrasting Waist (C$79.90)
Now, back to the matter at hand. Let's talk accessories. Leopard print shoes? Gaw-geous! Tennis shoes....not so much. But to each their own and they're kind of cute, so a pass.
If we put the top, bottom and accessories all together, what do we get? One hot mess. There's too much going on and nothing blends together for a cohesive outfit. Too much mish mashing of trends. Next time Whit, pick a trend and stick with it. Had she done the same outfit with a solid colour pant, this would have been a totally cute, casual outfit.

Yay! Those pants are incredible!
Scariest pants ever! I came to this page only seeing Whit's face and shirt and thought this was going to be a yay...then I scrolled down and my eyes almost jumped outta my head when they took in that skin-tight landscape wrapped around her legs. Looks like someone made tights out of a desktop background, which is a terrible idea. Then I noticed the shoes and I couldn't comprehend how she thought leopard print would go with a meadow and mountains. Maybe they would have worked if her pants were jungle print! (haha, I kid...terrible joke, I know.) Nay all the way.
nay, i like them separate but together with the shoes, it all seems to much or so crazy it works? It confuses me this outfit!
very much a yay for me! I adore it!
Nay for me~ nay, nay & nay...lol
Nay, I totally agree with you. Her hair is very beautiful though. She could defiantly dress it up with some more modern/formal clothes.
Honestly, I think its a yay. I really like how the outfit looks!
