Yay or Nay: Whitney Port + Printed Pants
Whoa, Whitney! What's going on over here? When I look at Whitney Port in this office, I feel like someone needs to alert the police because she's a complete and utter victim. A fashion victim, that is.
This is the perfect example of doing too many trends at the same time and not pulling any of them off. Let's break up this crazy outfit first, shall we?
Let's take a look at her hair and makeup first because I think she looks really pretty here. I love her loose, romantic braid. Very organic and sweet matching her simple makeup.
Top: Then we go down to the top, which isn't too bad. I like denim button downs and I like that washed out look.
Bottom: Moving onto the pants. I'm not overly thrilled with these. I can't stand this photo print trend. Don't get me wrong, I love printed pants in general. Not so much on myself but generally, I'm a fan. What about you ladies? Would you wear printed pants? Here are a few options I found around the web, let me know what you think!
1. Altuzarra Redwood Tropical Print Flared Pants (US$542.50, on sale)
2. Black Milk Clothing Aurora Skye Legging (US$75.00)
3. ASOS Crop Trousers in Floral Print (C$70.58)
4. Zara Printed Trousers with Contrasting Waist (C$79.90)
Now, back to the matter at hand. Let's talk accessories. Leopard print shoes? Gaw-geous! Tennis shoes....not so much. But to each their own and they're kind of cute, so a pass.
If we put the top, bottom and accessories all together, what do we get? One hot mess. There's too much going on and nothing blends together for a cohesive outfit. Too much mish mashing of trends. Next time Whit, pick a trend and stick with it. Had she done the same outfit with a solid colour pant, this would have been a totally cute, casual outfit.

Nay, there's way too much going on.
Nay to her printed pants, but all for a great print accessorized the right way.
Nay! Are they pants? I thought they were tights/leggings. the "bottoms" would probably look better under a short skirt?
A great big NAY on the clothes, but I do like her hair!
Nay! The patterns on her pants look too busy!
Nay! either the shoes or the pants, but not both

Nay! I can see them as a fun and cute idea for kids but it just looks odd on an adult.
Nay, she is so pretty and natural looking. This outfit does not enhances her beauty but rather takes away from it |
