Tinted Moisturizer with SPF
My Pick: Cosmedicine Honest Face Skin Tint & Treatment SPF 20
Put away heavy foundations and even out your skin tone with a tinted moisturizer. I really love Cosmedicine’s version because it gives you enough coverage while still looking and feeling natural on the skin. It’s also loaded with anti-oxidants to help improve the appearance of your skin while protecting it from harmful UV rays.
Need a little more coverage? Apply a second layer only if needed or use a concealer and spot conceal. Tinted moisturizers allow your natural skin to show through and leave a luminous glow. If you have oilier skin, choose a tinted moisturizer that helps reduce oil and shine like Cosmedicine’s Medi-Matte Face Tint & Oil Control Lotion SPF 20.

Bronzed Skin
My Pick: Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzing Powder
Avoiding a streaky orange tan is a lot easier these days thanks to sheer, more golden-based formulas. When applying bronzer to the face, apply only where the sun naturally hits you especially if you are a lot fairer than the rest of your body. This looks more natural. Use a big fluffy powder brush and apply to your forehead, cheeks, bridge of nose, and chin. Bronzed skin should never look heavy or flat. Select a bronzer that has a bit of shimmer for a more natural glow like Bobbi Brown’s Illuminating Bronzing Powder. The formula is ultra-soft, super blendable and the micro pearls leave skin looking naturally radiant.
Bronze Lids
My Pick: Stila Eyeshadow Trio Gold Glow
I love a bronze shadow anytime of the year especially when the temperature is on the rise! A bronze lid is so wearable you can wear it day or night and with just about any lip colour. I love using palettes because you can layer and create many different looks. Stila’s Eyeshadow Trio in Gold Glow has 3 shadows: a light champagne shade as a base, a medium bronze for the crease, and a deeper bronze to smudge into the lash line. This palette can also be worn wet/dry. Apply wet if you want more intensity. Finish off with a couple coats of black mascara.

Statement Lips
My Pick: Lipstick Queen China Town Glossy Pencils
I love lips that make a statement especially with bronzed, glowing skin. Because bronze shades look so neutral, you can afford to wear a bit more colour on the lips. When I want to make a statement, I like to slick on bright hues of pinks, watermelons, or reds. One of my favourite lippie brands is a line called Lipstick Queen (a line only made for lips!). The brand’s China Town Glossy Pencils are the perfect blend of full colour with a glossy finish. These chunky pencils are easy to apply and include a sharpener so your pencil will never be dull. And don’t think because it’s a gloss that it will disappear after your first sip of coffee. These glosses are long-lasting. This summer try a hot pink like Crime, a sheer watermelon like Chase, or a sheer red like Thriller for those hot nights out!
