Your Weekly Shopping List: 6 Summer Beauty Products To Pick Up

Every beauty junkie knows that when a new season begins you have to adjust your beauty routine accordingly. With the changes in the weather come changes in your lifestyle and what you are used to using may need a switch up or an upgrade. This means one thing: shopping spree!

I found 6 products to add to your shopping list this week for a smooth (and beautiful) transition to summer:

1. Giovanni Colorflauge Shampoo + Conditioner (C$11.99): Sun and salt water can do a lot of damage to your hair, especially if it's colour treated. To prevent damage and restore healthy hair, try this line of shampoo and conditioners. They come in specific formulas for each shade of hair: black, brunette, red and blonde.

2. Essence Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder (C$4.99): I love this for a few reasons. It's matte, which is actually harder to come across than you'd think, it's inexpensive and delivers big for a small price, and it comes in a shade for darker and lighter skin.

3. Nair Brazilian Spa Clay Body Wax Strips (C$14.96): If you're looking for long lasting smooth legs, these strips, infused with mango butter, acai berry and mineral rich clay are a good bet. When you warm each strip by hand, the logo fades which lets you know it's time to use.

4. Vichy Nutriextra Extraordinary Oil (C$29.50): This dry oil is paraben and silicone free and contains 9 plant oils. I love that you spray it on and it absorbs quickly into your skin for a non greasy finish. Great for humid weather when simply standing in a room causes sweating. Personally, I find a lot of oils too heavy for my skin, but this one is lightweight while still soft and velvety. Plus, it smells like summer in a bottle!

5. Soap & Glory Pulp Friction Body Scrub (C$20.00): As someone prone to ingrown hairs, a good body scrub is key to my hair removal routine. Exfoliation prevents those unwelcome bumps!

6. Secret Clinical Strength Antiperspirant/Deodorant (C$9.99): Here's something odd that you didn't want to know about me: I sweat a lot. Especially when I am stressed. Add stress to a hot, summer day and no one wants to get near me. This is actually one of the best deodorants I have ever tried. It smells great and lasts throughout the entire day.

Which of these products will you be adding to your shopping list this week?

These products look great, except for the Nair.. I've had a few horrible moments with it, haha.
