In the Spring of 2007 I did a naughty, and what some would consider ill-advised, thing. I bashed Prada. Not the brand as a whole, because I am a huge fan and have been since my days at Fashion File; I took pot shots at their must have spring accessory. The female turban. While I still stand by my opinion that it is indeed ugly, and I do feel it makes the wearer look like Aunt Jemima, I was...

All week long we've been wearing black and grey. We didn't plan it that way, it just sort of happened.

This morning Mandy and I showed up wearing matching leather pants and grey tops (mine's under my jacket). What's with all the black and grey? Do you think it's the January blahs subliminally coming out through our wardrobes? Are you wearing a lot of grey too?

Can you believe it's been 10 years since Sade released universal makeout album of the decade, Lover's Rock? This February she's releasing Soldier of Love. How fitting that the one who inspired the posing wall is the first to use it in 2010. Mandy came in this morning wearing what Julie-Anne and I were both convinced was a $200 fur vest. When she confessed it was only about 15 bucks off the sale rack at Urban Behaviour, she was promptly marched over to the new posing wall, and so it begins.

I can't even begin to tell you how excited we are to have an office. Those of you who have been with us for awhile know that we started the company 3 years ago in our living room, having people sitting around our dining room table every day. Starbucks locations around the city served as our unofficial boardroom, and for the amount we spent in cappuccinos, we should have shares in the company...

Flying home from Argentina, I was flipping through this month's Vogue featuring Toronto's own, Rachel McAdams. I was pleasantly surprised to learn about her website that has refreshingly nothing to do with celebrity. www.greenissexy.org was launched by McAdams and two friends to encourage us all to live a greener lifestyle. Articles contain lots of helpful tips on how to reduce our...

A few things I learned in the Paris of South America in no particular order:

1. Argentina is beautiful and the people even more so. I've never encountered a warmer culture. Everyone is so kind. Despite the bustling cities and crowded dangerous roadways, people are genuinely sweet here.

2. Just because our dollar is worth nearly 4 times the peso, doesn't mean you should buy as much as...

Merry Christmas, Everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful holiday with your families and friends. We are celebrating Christmas in Argentina with Alex's family and their tradition is to eat dinner late at night and then at midnight pop the champagne and open a gift to celebrate the moment Jesus was born (Argentina is about 80% Roman Catholic). Private fireworks go off in neighborhoods all...
