Louis Vuitton has snagged Bono and his wife Ali Hewson for their latest Core Values campaign, which was shot in Africa by acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz.  What's so unusual about this image: the pair aren't wearing anything by Louis Vuitton!  They are dressed in Hewson's own organic ethical label Edun (which Louis Vuitton recently acquired a major stake in).

MAC recently teamed up with New York fashion label Rodarte, for their 2010-11 Fall/Winter Collection. The line of make-up products was inspired by Rodarte’s fashion line inspired by the Mexican border town of Juarez.

The colours in the collection were meant to highlight the desert beauty of the town; however, the town is notorious for its high-level of rape and murder of young women and girls....

The September 2010 issue of Vogue Italia features a 24-page spread of model Kristen McMenamy in oil-soaked clothes posing as a dying animal.

The photographer, Steven Meisel, was clearly portraying the oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, but is this an appropriate way to draw attention to the disaster?
