Henry Birks and Sons was founded in 1879 by Henry Birks in Montreal, Canada. In 1901, the company started to expand across Canada and now operates 70 stores in Canada and parts of the United States. In the US, stores are called Mayors. Birks manufactures and retails jewellery, timepieces and silverware.
