I am surprisingly impressed with this product. I have dry, brittle fine hair that has endured many years of colour- and heat-damage and frequently falls out when I comb it or wash it. I was still looking for a good detangling conditioner when ChickAdvisor sent me this product. It spread fairly easily through my long hair and I didn't have to use too much to get it saturated through the strands. It didn't leave a greasy film on my skin and when I rinsed it out, my hair felt so much softer and more manageable. I usually comb through my hair with my fingers to separate the knots after putting in conditioner, and for the first time in a long time I didn't have to pull out many hairs that have broken off and come loose! Using a comb became a lot easier too, and I had less knots to separate with my fingers when i got out of the shower. I am very impressed with this conditioner and would recommend it to anyone with dry, damaged hair. I saw this for $3.49 at London Drugs and think it would be a fantastic deal at that price. -

I think this shampoo performs well as a basic shampoo. It does rinse out cleanly as it claims, leaves no residue, and lathers pretty well so you don't need a lot. There are a few aspects that make this product stand out from the rest. It smells amazing, fresh and fruity. The scent actually perked up my mood a bit while I was lathering it into my hair! It is also packaged in a beautiful clear bottle, which I find goes very well with the blue and purple colour scheme. It looks very classy and high quality. One gripe I have about this shampoo is that it makes my scalp itch afterwards. It is a bit drying and stripped the moisture from my scalp, so I wouldn't recommend this to people with dry scalps. I got mine for free from ChickAdvisor, but I saw this at London Drugs on sale for $3.49 and I think it is a very worthy deal at that price.

I am a big fan of conditioning sprays and I use my keratin spray daily. I have brittle, fine hair that gets colour- and heat damaged frequently so I feel the need to use it for heat protection, detangling, and extra moisture. I was excited to receive this product from ChickAdvisor, and I sprayed some in almost as soon as I got it in the mail. I like how conditioning sprays are convenient and don't need to be used in the shower. I also found it fascinating that you need to shake the bottle before spraying it, and watch it mix and change colour. It's a little gimmicky but very attractive! The smell is just okay. It's somewhat similar to the shampoo and conditioner but has a hint of alcohol in it which I don't like. My hair gets tangled really easily and I find it does sort of detangle the knots that form in my hair. I tried it on damp hair the next day and found that it doesn't really live up to its "weightless" claims: it made my hair sticky and dull. Perhaps this is a product meant for thick, frizzy hair rather than my straight fine hair. -

I used to be a regular user of the Dove Go Fresh Beauty Bar in Nectarine and White Ginger until I switched back to my citrus Lever 2000 bar soap. To me, the Dove soap just didn't lather well enough with the nylon washcloth I used in the shower. That being said, I was somewhat reluctant to try the Original Beauty Cream Bar, as I expected similar if not the same results.
I was initially surprised by the smell of the Original bar, as it didn't match up to my expectation of a luxurious "creamy" smell. It simply smelled like soap, which was a little disappointing. However, when I actually washed with this soap, I was astonished at the luxury of its feel on my skin. The lather was buttery smooth, and as I scrubbed off my dead dry skin with the nylon washcloth, the creamy lather worked like a skin conditioner, revealing super soft skin as it rinsed away. For the first time, I didn't feel like I needed to moisturize my normally dry, scaly legs after showering! I am extremely grateful for the Product Review Club for introducing me to this product, and at perfect timing when bare skin is essential for summer wardrobes. This soap also makes a great alternative to shaving cream, as it moisturizes my legs and underarms and protects them from razorburn. I am absolutely in love with this product, and will definitely continue to buy when I run out. If Dove would change the smell into something more milky or vanilla-y, it would be the perfect soap for me. However, I am sufficiently impressed by its moisture and lather and would recommend this to everyone.

I'm very impressed with Febreze's ingenious idea of having a car air freshener that attaches to the air vent. My boyfriend always uses air fresheners in his car and we've started developing a graveyard in the trunk for all the old air fresheners that stopped smelling good after a week or so. I clipped on the Febreze clip and I don't think we'll ever go back. It's so compact, yet works so effectively. I set it on low and the scent is pleasantly subtle -- the perfect clean smell. I'm so grateful for this because we always order food from the car and the smell of takeout usually lingers for a couple days in the car. But with the Febreze clip, it's gone even after a few hours. I'm hoping Febreze makes more scents and adds new colours to the line. I want to try more! :)

I have hereditary dark circles under my eyes, making me look tired all the time. I can usually hide them with concealer, but this product still made me excited because it means I won't have to use as much concealer or apply it so carefully every day. Of course, this problem isn't easily solvable since the dark circles appear naturally. I've used eye creams and rollers before, but they either produce no effect or give me a rash. :(
Upon receiving this in the mail for the Product Review Club, I was even more excited because the packaging is darn cute! It almost looks like a roller tube of fruity lip gloss. I find it very therapeutic to apply. The metal roller felt smooth and cool on my eyes, which did help to wake me up. The smell was very pleasant and made me feel happy, almost like aromatherapy! After applying, there was a bit of tingling under my eyes, but the tingling went away after applying for a few days.
I've used this product twice a day (once in the morning, once before bed) for two weeks. Unfortunately, my puffy eye circles did not go away, nor lessen whatsoever. I was disappointed (though not surprised) and I would not purchase this for $20. However, it is fun to use and provides a nice sensation on your skin, as well as your mood!

Easily the most versatile product in my makeup bag.
I rub it onto dry flaky skin and it will be transformed into soft and smooth the next morning. I use it as lip balm, brow gel, and on dry/cracked heels. I even use it on my face, because when used carefully and correctly, it beats every other facial moisturizer I've used.
Contrary to popular opinion, it will not clog your pores, if applied sparingly. My speculation is that most people who end up with breakouts or greasy skin in general use it like any other moisturizer. Just put some on their fingers and rub it all over their face. That is how I used to do it (to result in greasy skin) but I found out a much more effective way.
The trick is to rub only a little bit between your (clean) hands and let the friction heat it up, and then simply press your hands to your face for a few seconds. Voila! Your face should feel much more moisturized, and it's usually enough moisture for me to have great skin for the day.
Vaseline is extremely affordable and widely available. It's a must-have for every beauty bag. :)

This eyeliner was one of my first makeup purchases, mostly because it was the cheapest liquid eyeliner I could find. Back then I was still experimenting with how to properly put on cosmetics and I fell in love with this product because the brush tip made the application so smooth and precise. To be fair, I hadn't tried much else other than cheap pencil liners, so I stuck with using this liquid eyeliner because it gave me a dramatic look without spending so much effort trying to get colour out of the pencils.
Over time, my skills improved and I even began getting compliments on the way I did my eyeliner. I started referring all my friends to this product, and it became a part of their daily routines as well (though they don't use nearly as much as I, because I have conservative friends who like subtle makeup). So yes, this eyeliner is extremely versatile.
I have been using this product for five years now, and I still do every day because it is so convenient and inexpensive. It may not be waterproof and it does flake if you leave it on for a long time without touchups, but it does a very good job for just a day of going out. I love this eyeliner and I will continue to purchase it, even though I can afford a much more expensive brand, because it does an impressive job for such a reasonable price.

I've been using this product for three years and I haven't looked back. It has a very pleasant smell and exfoliates effectively. I love the sensation of the cleanser melting away when I rinse my face after exfoliating with this product. I wouldn't recommend this to people with sensitive skin, however, as exfoliating cleansers can be very rough on the skin. I miss the old version as the exfoliates were much harsher and gave me a better scrub than with the new version. I do like the new packaging better, however. The price is also great at about $5 for a rather large tube of product. This is a great cleanser and I will continue to purchase. -

I got a trial size of this from Holt Renfrew and I used it for quite a while before I got my Kiss Me Heroine fibre mascara. At first, I liked the small mascara brush and how it can reach all of my stubby fine Asian lashes. It lengthened a little bit and gave it good definition, but there was nothing special about the mascara in whole. It just felt like putting paint on my lashes and I stopped using it for a while.
When I ran out of the Maybelline Lash Stylist I was using, I washed the comb brush that came with it and used it with the Clinique Lash Doubling Mascara. I simply took the formula off the Clinique brush with the Maybelline brush and applied. The results were spectacular! The combination of the two gave me incredible length and definition and I was awed at the difference it made. It took a lot more time with the transferring of product but it was really worth it for me, and became a part of my regular makeup routine.
I wouldn't recommend the purchase of the full-sized tube, but if you happen to come across the trial-size, it would make a great addition to your purse as a quick touch-up mascara. I actually got great results in using the Lash Stylist brush with the formula, but you can easily find the convenience of another mascara that can work just as well.
