This is a tough one, because I LOVE this product, but I still think almost $40 (that's what I paid with tax) is ridiculous for a lip balm, HOWEVER; I don't wear lipstick often so I don't spend much on that. Lipstick wears off too easily and I can't be bothered to be constantly re-applying it. That's why i LOVE this balm so much. I'm a chap-stick addict for sure, and this gives me moisture and sun protection with a really pretty tint. It really does work with the chemestry of your lips to give them a 'flushed' natural look without looking like you're wearing lipstick.
Since it costs so much, I only use it when I'm out-I won't waste it when I'm home by myself, but it's just like using your regular lip balm only it makes your lips look much nicer, and it works as well if not better than a lot of lip balms I've tried (and I've tried a lot-Iike I said chap sticl is the one thing I can't live without so I always have tons lying around).I would for sure reccommend this for girls who don't like to wear lipstick but need chap stick daily and still want a nice natural look.
If you can afford to buy a new one every couple of months it's defenitly worth it!

I recieved this cream as part of the product review club. Since I've tried so many eye creams I have high expectations because so many have failed to deliver results no matter how high priced or good quality they are. I am 26, so I should be using a cream that will help and prevent the first signs of aging.
I liked the way this cream went on, it absorbed well and cooled my eye area. Since we only had 2 weeks to do a review, I can't say whether or not it helps with wrinkles or dark circles because there was no change there, but it did smooth out the area and make my concealer glide on easier!
I'd say it works well, feels nice, and would be great for people with average eye problems. I think I will keep using it and see what it does over a little more time for my little lines that are forming, so I do see the potential!

Extreme fitness? More like Extreme Ripoff...
When I first went in to the club 10 months ago, I had just moved to the city and wanted to check out a few fitness places before I made any decision. I went in here and the guy pressured me to get the membership right then because you could only get the "deal" the first time you walk in....(right). So I guess I fell for that, and I lived close so I thought it would be fine. I also thought the ridiculous price of $100 a month (down from their 'regular' $130) was a bit ridiculous, but chalked it up to Toronto prices. The thing is, I signed up at the Yonge/Dundas location which I wasn't very impressed qith (not for $100) but they assured me there were clubs close that were nice and had pools (which was important to me).
To even get your membership card, yoy HAVE to go through the "free fitness evaluation" which is just a way to get you to buy personal training sessions. I didn't want it but they wouldn't give me my card without it. I told them I didn't want personal training and that I was in school and couldn't afford it. They pressured me so much and tried to get me on payment plans. I felt so pressured and uncomfortable.
A few days later I got a call saying I had "won" a free year membership from a ballet box. I went in to claim it, and the guy working said it was only 4 months.I clearly remember the ballet box saying a year, but I guess this is their little scam to get people in. I had told him on the phone that I already had a membership and he assured me he would just add it to my exsisting membership. When I was there, he said I couldn't use it and had to transfer it to someone else, using MY bank account number. Long story short, I called a few months later to make sure my card wasn't being charged for this other account, and the guy who signed me up had been fired...comforting.
Later after I had been to a few of the surrounding clubs, I realized none of them had pools. Maybe 2 or 3 at the most in all the 15 locations in the GTA have pools and they are ALL too far, except Wellington. Since I had moved closer to the Wellington location I was happy I could finally use a pool. When i went in, they told me that the pool was reserved for people who had signed up at that exact location. When I tried to get something done about it, as in switch home gyms, they said nothing could be done.
The last and final straw that made me write this review happened just lately. I was told by the person who signed me up that if at any time I wanted to put my account on hold for only $7 a month, I coul, and that the payments would continue the following month. I put my account on hold for 2 months because my hours had been cut at work and I couldn't afford it. This month after paying rent I had a balance of $0 in my account so I noticed a feww of $100 that came out. Since I had nothing to pay it, I got a $45 bounce fee. I called extreme and they said that holding the account only insures you can't go for the month, not that the payment won't come out-well then what's the point of holding! Turns out I had been charged last month as well but didn't notice. When I explained what the sales rep had told me, they said they never do that and basically accused me of lieing, but their staff would clearly do anything to get sales. I know what I was told, they make up and change things constantly, lie to get people in their, do or say whatever they have to.
The staff can be unfriendly at times (esp. SOME of the girls at the front desk, not all , I don't want to offend anyone) but some of the girls whisper and laugh and I have heard some of them even making fun of my last name!
With that said, I wouldn't reccomend this gym at all. The facility is NO better than goodlife or any other gym and for $130 it should be REALLY nice. There are no pools except at Sheppard, Thornhill, and Wellington (and you can't even use the Wellington one unless you signed up there) even though they promised me there was one with a pool in walking distance. It's just a regular club that pressures you constantly for personal training and is very over priced, and if you have problems with them, they won't help you work them out. Save you money and go to another gym, it will save you TONS of stress!

I love this workout! I'm usually at the gym, but when I can't make it I love this dvd. It targets all problem areas and you don't have to be super coordinated to be able to do it. If you do the excersises right you will be able to feel it the next day.
The DVD itself isn't the greatest as it says "pick your own music and much much more" which isn't really true as I've never found the option to pick your own music, or anything else. It's basically 5 ten minute sessions for arms, legs, abs, etc.
Some of the moves are kind of weird and it only gives minimal cardio, but it targets all your muscles that you want to tone and tighten. I really enjoy the workout, and it's great for people who like to excercise at home!

These shakes are awesome!! I especially love the chocolate and vanilla. I replace a starchy breakfast with one every day, and I've lost 10 pounds this month:) Sometimes I'll add a banana and peanut butter to the chocolate one, or strawberries to the vanilla...there's so many things you can do, or just drink them alone. Nutrimeal has a low-glycemic index which provites sustained energy and greater satiety throughout the day, so you aren't having hunger spikes. I'm always full after I drink one and don't go for the pizza I wanted....It also lessens carb and sugar cravings which is awesome.
The shakes are also packed with nutrients, fibre, and protein, so they're great right before a workout. I drink at least one every day and it has really helped me lose weight and keep it off, and they're really tasty unlike a lot of the shakes you'll find on the drugstore shelves. Also it's important to note there are no fillers at all. It's worth the price, you'll love these shakes! I personally reccommend the chocolate and vanilla, I don't really like the strawberry one but that's just me.

This is the new body wash from Dove, it's very clean and simple. It's supposed to moisturize as it cleans by the moisture actually absorbing into your skin instead of just sitting on the top. It lathered realy nicely and my skin felt nice and smooth afterwards, and it smelled really fresh and clean. It's more natural than a lot of the products out there today and I felt really good and noticed much softer skin after using it! I would for sure go out and buy this product, I really like it! -

I got this eyeliner because it's hard to find liquid eyeliner in waterproof, and I had high hopes even though it was cheap, but I was very dissapointed. Although the packaging was cute, the product didn't work at all. It left a sticky mess on my eyelids and smeared onto my skin everytime i opened my eyes, and it wasn't waterproof at all. It wasn't even black, it was more of a bad grey. I gave it three tries before I threw it out. Don't waste your money. -

This foundation is supposed to be for oil prone skin. I usually use Lancome but I've been low on cash so I wanted to try something a lot cheaper. Since I have oily skin, I wanted to try Rimmel Stay Matte, because it was oil free and claimed to keep shine to a minimum.
For the price, it wasn't terrible. I like that it is oil and paraben free and has salicylic acid in it. It is more matte than most other regular foundations I have used, but it didn't feel as light on my skin. It did keep shine down and didn't make me break out, however, it didn't give good coverage (it didn't cover any blemishes really). It didn't have a huge selection of colours so the shade I bought is slightly too dark for me.
I'd reccommend this if you're one of those people who doesn't need much coverage but still needs a little shine control, i can see it working perfect for that, but if you have blemish marks you need to cover up you might wanna go with something else.

With a hydroxy complex that sweeps away dry patches and nourishes and firms skin , this cream is the best I've ever tried. Free of parabens and chemicals, this moisturizer hydrates, firms, and exfoliates. After a few days of use I noticed my skin was a lot softer and any bumps or ingrown hairs were gone.
Proteo-C and Proflavanol-T nourish your skin as shea butter and Ceramide 3 soothe, firm, and replenish moisture. This whole-body treat gives your skin a youthful, glowing appearance without ever feeling heavy or greasy.
Contains plant extracts to soften and hydrate. Also it smells like an orange julius! (but the scent doesn't last on your skin so you can still wear your fav. perfume without smelling like an orange).

This product line is honestly the best I've ever tried, and since I have problem skin, I try a lot of different brands. First of all, the best part is it's 100% natural. No parabens or chemicals, it's so natural you could eat it literally. It's filled with great ingredients like green tea to clear skin up and make it glow.
I had no idea but if you look on the back of most of your skin care creams, there are mostly chemicals listed, preservatives like parabens. These absorb into the bloodstream so whatever you put on your skin, you put in your body.
I bought the basic skin care pack, the intensive serum (helps exfoliate, good for acne prone skine and wrinkles), and for exfoliating the rice bran polisher, and my skin has never looked better. It literally is putting vitamins right on your skin, and the daytime moisturizer has a natural SPF in it. I also use the daily firming body moisturizer which exfoliates and smells like tangerines!
I am so excited about it I want to share my experience with everyone!
