Tetley sent me three packages of tea to test drive and review. I liked the taste of this one the least but that’s not saying too much since I absolutely loved the other two. I added a bit of honey to a cup of this tea and it tasted quite yummy. This tea has echinacea and zinc which are purported to boost immunity. I will have to test that out since I just recovered from a bad cold. All in all a pleasantly scented and tasting tea that I recommend, especially if you find yourself fighting a nasty virus! -

I received this tea from Tetley to test and review. Delicious tea with a pleasant berry taste! The smell of the tea steeping made me feel warm and cosy after coming home from work on a cold day in fall. I can only imagine how it will warm me up when winter is really here! As great as it is hot I will have to try it iced if summer ever returns. It would make a delicious, zero calorie drink to sip on in the heat. Since it contains vitamin B6 it helps with regulating your mood a bit. This tea has a very reasonable price point and is a healthy addition to my tea cabinet. I recommend this tea if you want a soothing, delicious and healthy drink to enjoy. -

Wow!! I received a free package of this Tetley Tea to test and review. I have been wanting to try green tea for a while but was leery of the taste. I thought it might taste too “green” or something. This tea is tropical flavoured and doesn’t taste like kale or seaweed at all! It has a pleasant, fruity flavour that I think would make a fantastic iced tea in the summer. Alas, this is October in Canada so I made it hot. These teas are not terribly expensive and often can be bought on sale. Excellent value. Not only does this green tea have antioxidant power but it also has Vitamin C which helps boost your immunity and recovery time from colds. I will be buying this to add to my tea stash! -

I got these Powerbar Protein Bars in dark chocolate and peanut butter as part of a sample pack. Of the three flavours this was my least favourite. I simply am not a fan of peanut butter. However, I gave this to my daughter (who is a peanut butter fan) and she gave it a thumbs up. She used it as a replacement for breakfast and reported it left her feeling full (no doubt due to the high grams of protein). She said it tasted a bit like a Reeses chocolate but without the guilt of actually eating a chocolate bar. I will buy this flavour for her but I will be keeping the salted caramel for my own stash.
These bars are great to have on hand especially when you don’t want to eat another boiled egg and crave something sweet. Highly recommend!!

I received a sample of these salted caramel and dark chocolate bars for free to sample and review. Of the three flavours this is my favourite! It tastes perfectly sweet and salty. Not only do they have a super yummy taste they also are quite healthy and packed with protein. I had this while attending a class after forgetting to eat breakfast and it tided me over (I added a coffee) until lunch. I bought some more to have on hand and would definitely recommend these to anyone that wants a healthyish snack to fill them up. -

I received a sample of these (for free) Powerbar Plant Protein in sea salt and dark chocolate flavour. Absolutely delicious! These taste super yummy and helped me avoid hunger until dinner time. It also stopped me from getting fast food as I was able to get home and cook a healthy dinner. I will definitely be buying these to throw in my purse in case I need to have a protein snack. I recommend these to anyone that likes to have a healthy snack on hand. -

Mott’s sent me a voucher for a bottle of Pina Colada mix. So #IGotItForFree. This made for a totally authentic Pina Colada drink that was absolutely simple to concoct. I just added 1 ounce of white rum to a glass of the mix and it was perfection. I chilled the bottle overnight to ensure a nice cold drink. The texture was creamy and smooth with just a hint of coconut and a splash of pineapple. This mix is an excellent value at my local Real Canadian Superstore, it was on special for $4.98 which is cheaper than buying the individual ingredients to make the drinks, although maraschino cherries could be added! I will be adding this mix to my repetoire of summer drinks. It will be sure to impress my friends, especially during barbecue season! -

I recieved a coupon, 2 golden spoons and some fancy napkin for free to taste and then write a review. I chilled these (I tasted the tropical + fibre flavour) overnight and served them with breakfast the next morning. They were a hit with their tropical fruit flavour and smooth, chilled texture. They will definitely be added to our breakfast/snack routine. They are also great to toss in a lunchbag or grab on the way out the door.
Not only does Mott’s make great fruit snacks they are also a partner of Breakfast Club of Canada which provides healthy breakfasts to over 200,000 kids all across Canada! I highly recommend this great product!

I recieved a coupon for a free 6 pack of Mott’s Rasberry + Fibre Fruitsations. I put it in the fridge overnight to chill. The next day both my kids and I tried one. This stuff is very fresh tasting and the raspberry flavour was very well defined (I grew up with raspberry bushes in our back garden) and enjoyed by all three of us. I was expecting this fruit sauce to have a coarser texture since it does have the word fibre in it but it didn’t at all. In fact if you want to sneak in a bit of fibre into your kid’s snacks this might be the best way to do it!
Mott’s is partnered with Breakfast Club of Canada which feeds breakfast to over 200,000 children in 1600 schools all over Canada. Just another reason to support Mott’s when choosing your kids snacks! I would definitely recommend this snack to my friends and family.

I recieved this from Chick Advisor to test out and review. This is my unbiased opinion. I ordered this in the colour brown and wasn’t quite sure of the match. Was very pleasantly surprised. I have tried other similar products and I have to say Scwarzkopf really is a great product. I colour my hair monthly at home but before you know it my roots show. So I tried this tonight and not only was it a perfect colour match but it was very easy to apply in a few quick bursts along my hairline. Then with my fingers I gently blended it into my hair. Wow! I can see this saving my colour for quite a while. All in all a great little product which will be added to my roster of haircare products! -
