I liked this service - the delivery times had lots of availability, I really liked how they ordering site worked - they put sales front and centre so you could see them right away rather than having to dig to see what's on special.
The produce and meat that came was great- much better than my last few orders from other places.
Fast, friendly delivery.
Only complaint is they don't allow for fresh seafood orders.

As a primer it worked very well. Skin nice and smooth and make-up applied evenly and easily and lasted - looked fresh all day.
My only complaints would be 1. The perfume - far too scented for me - not a terrible smell just way too strong. 2. It;s supposed to be a 2-in-1 including a moisturizer but it's not moisturizing enough for right now (Canada winters are pretty harsh and drying plus I just got back from travelling which dehydrates your skin) so I had to use other moisturizer first. I think it'll be perfect once summer gets here.
All in all, a good primer.

So weird - my review seemed to have disappeared. I was lucky enough to be able to take part in the Chickadvisor Vichy initiative. Hadn't ever tried the brand before and was very glad to get a chance to try the products as I think I'm now a convert... +

The serum was my favourite of the three mostly because it made my skin silky soft, like very fine velvet. It absorbed very easily and was a great base to the moisturizer. Putting on foundation over was a dream.
Funny enough my previous post mentioned that I had a defective pump - nope, was just clueless on how to use the pump, and it is actually good as you don't have to touch anything.
Only complaint is I'm not fond of the scent, but I usually go for scent-free as I don't do well with perfumes.

Again this is a really nice product - goes on smoothly and absorbs well. My skin feels super soft using this. Not sure if it's the serum though which I'm also using.
Not crazy about the smell but it's pretty light, would prefer non-scented.

Very light scent, would prefer none but it's not bad at all compared to most.

So with that in mind I was actually pretty happy with how the Vinylux lasted. I'm on day 4 and there are only some small chips at the tips. Normally I would have spent the last two days obsessively scraping at the larger chipped areas until all the polish was scraped away but the chips are small enough that they aren't bugging me so I can watch tv in peace instead of scraping away showering the couch in tiny little pieces of polish.
The only complaint I had is it was a bit of challenge to apply - not sure if it was the brush or the texture but was hard to get it even and smooth - however let me reiterate that I suck at painting nails too (which actually is rather surprising since I'm an artist who paints).

This is a really great product for smoothing your hair. I put a couple drops in my hands and warm them up before distributing on damp hair, then blow dry, you can use a little more at the ends to smooth. It's only temporary though and doesn't sink... +
This is a really great product for smoothing your hair. I put a couple drops in my hands and warm them up before distributing on damp hair, then blow dry, you can use a little more at the ends to smooth. It's only temporary though and doesn't sink and moisturize the hair. Love the fact that it's organic and free of a lot of the bad stuff in other oils. I actually use the shampoo and hair masque too for this brand and have been really happy with them. -
Love the smell of the whole Body Shop grapefruit line but especially the body butter. It's lighter so works well in the summer and the smell is awesome - very energizing.

Well - it's fall and the heaters have come on bringing with them the joy of scaly dry skin. Just bought my winter moisturizer - Clinique Moisture Surge Intense. This is the best face moisturizer I've found for the winter months. It smells a bit plasticy but much prefer that then most other moisturizers that are so perfumed they make my eyes water. This cream really helps with the winters rough skin. -

I was one of the lucky people given the opportunity to try out the Crest 3D White Whitestrips Intensive Professional Effects. So I received the strips just over a week ago and started using them on the Saturday morning. You have to keep the strips on for 2 hours so it's a bit of planning so you don't eat or drink anything for that amount of time. Or talk. During the two hours of having the strips on every time I spoke my fiancée snickered as I was talking with a distinctive speech impediment from trying to keep the strips on my teeth. I shouldn't have worried. These strips were a bit different from the ones I remember from years ago. Those were more like saran wrap that were slimy on the inside and slipped around a lot. When I had to remove these ones after the two hours they were amazingly suctioned on. It actually took some pulling to get them off. Good to know so next time I'll be able to talk normally.
After taking the strips off my teeth were remarkably whiter. Pretty impressed. They looked great and I didn't feel anything... then. About 6 or 7 hours later I felt some sensitivity. Not the worst I've felt when using whitening products but my teeth were not the happiest in the world. But they were definitely quite a bit whiter which was awesome as the next day was my engagement shoot. So the sensitivity lasted about 12 hours or so. Never incredibly painful, just kinda always there. I decided to give my teeth a couple of days to recover so the next time I used the strips was a few days later. I did some research and learned about some flouride toothpastes that can help with the tenderness. I ended up buying and using Cirpo 5000 before trying my second strip. I used the strip on the Tuesday morning so it had been a couple of days in between to give my teeth a break. After removing them this time my teeth were definitely whiter but not as much of a dramatic change as the first strip. My teeth didn't hurt at all until a few hours later (I'm guessing there is some numbing agent inside the strips) but this time they didn't hurt nearly as much and the sensitivity only lasted a couple of hours.
I again gave myself a couple of days in between the strips to use the fluoride toothpaste and used another strip on the Thursday morning. Same routine, kept them on for two hours, yanked them off to see whiter teeth. Again a little sensitivity but looking pretty darn white now. I used the fourth strip this morning (Sunday) with the same routine. And to be honest I'm not going to use the remaining three right away as I don't think my teeth are going to get any whiter. They look pretty awesome if I do say so myself. I think I'll save the remaining three for a touchup before my wedding.
So the bottom line is that the strips work very well. It's a bit of a commitment with the two hour strip on time but the whitening is pretty drastic. Very impressed with how well they stay on. My only complaint would be the sensitivity, but it is manageable if you use the fluoride.
