I received the Noma Advanced Custom Male Plugs 10 for free in exchange for an honest review. For anyone who was confused initially like I was, the “Vampire” style of application in the product page, refers to the method of connecting the plug to the wire; it is another way of saying toolless connector. Instead of needing to strip the wire and screw it into place, you simply need to push the wire into the plug, which is convenient especially if you are setting this up while cooler outside. Overall, the quality of both the Male and Female version of these plugs is particularly good, and I had no trouble disassembling the plug (since both sides of the plug come in the packaging put together), then attaching it to the extension cord that I wanted to connect to. -

I received the Noma Advanced Custom Female Plugs 10 for free in exchange for an honest reivew. The NOMA Advanced Custom Indoor & Outdoor Polarized Female Plugs are designed to be used with extension cords. I tried out both the Male and Female custom plugs, and found their quality to be quiet good, forming a snug fit with the wire once I attached the plug to the wire. These plugs are made for 18 AWG/SPT-2 wires, which should be more the sufficient for most custom LED holiday lights. They can be used for any interior or exterior applications, only though for appliances that do not require a third ground pin, so keep that in mind before you make your purchase. Safe for outside use, in our cold and wet weather, these plugs are the perfect addition for your next Christmas light project! Tip: get those lights up while it's still warm outside! -

I received the AVEENO Daily Moisturizing Face Cream, Fragrance Free, for free in exchange for an honest review. This new Aveeno face cream came just in time as I ran out of my old one. I have always loved Aveeno products, they are just so trustworthy and so good on the skin. This new face cream has non-GMO oats, and I’ve been loving the new oats products for a while now. Oats apparently are good for your guts, and skin! I’ve used this for a few nights and few days now, it’s not sticky, absorbs super well, and retains most of the moisture so that my skin doesn’t have that dry stretchy feeling. The face cream is fragrance free, but I smell the usual Aveeno smell, which is super pleasant! It says it is clinically proven to moisturize dry skin for a full 24 hours but most people, like me, would probably take a shower during the 24 hour lot and reapply face cream before bed, so I cannot attest to that – BUT the 12 hours I had it on, it worked really well. This new Aveeno face cream is parabens-free fragrance-free and dye-free, and the new bottle is made from 40% recycled plastic, which makes me feel good doing a little bit for the environment. Great job Aveeno! -

I received the AVEENO Daily Moisturizing Facial Cleanser, 354 mL for free in exchange for an honest review. Aveeno is a premium brand in our household, we trust the brand for everything from baby products to all skin care. This new face wash lathers really well, smells fresh, and most importantly, cleans really well. I had some light makeup on and this new facial cleanser got everything out, leaving my skin super soft and clean. I know because I used a cotton pad to test it, and it came out clean! You know that squeaky clean feeling but not dry-out-tension clean? This Aveeno cleanser can do it for you. Having oat in it helps, as oat soothes skin and retains moisture. This new cleanser is also FREE on lots of things: paraben-free, sulfate-free, dye-free, and soap-free, perfect for a busy family who doesn’t have time to do much research. Cherry on the top is that the new bottle is made with 30% recycled plastic, so doing our small part for the environment. The pump is definitely preferred and sits great in the shower with the other shower bottles (I know, I am one of those lazy ones that washes their face in the shower). Definitely will buy again! -

I received the Batman 4-inch Crusader Batmobile for free in exchange for an honest review. This came at a perfect timing as my 5 and 9 year old are currently bingeing a series of Batman, and they are in the midst of educating their younger cousin about Joker, Batman and Gotham City. The Batmobile was super easy to remove from the box (unlike most toys, where you need a box cutter AND scissors AND muscles to get them out of the tags) – the little turn knobs are perfect for little hands to unscrew and take them out themselves. Honest opinion though, the 4-inch paper figures of The Joker, King Shark, and Mr. Freeze were a bit disappointing. The cardboard is a bit flimsy and they don’t stand up well. It’s meant to be knocked over by the BatHook launcher but they just kneel over on their own. It’s been 3 days now, I think the kids have gotten tired of the 4 inch figures and starting shooting at other toys instead.
The Crusader Batmobile, Batman and the BatHook launcher though, was GREAT! The quality of the batmobile is superb, large enough to vroom around the house by little hands, and the BatHook was super easy to set up and launch. The launch is surprisingly powerful (by children standards) and yes it is strong enough to knock over the paper figurines (when they are able to stand on their own). I wish there’s another BatHook though, as I’m pretty sure the hook will be missing at some point :) but otherwise, it’s a really fun toy and perfect for a room of little boys to play super hero! Now on to finding more stable figurines for the Batmobile to shoot at!

I received the PanOxyl PM Overnight Spot Patches for free in exchange for an honest review. Look at my photo, that was the night before I used the PanOxyl patch, stupid red zit did not last long! I used the small patch (9mm one) and stuck it on overnight, the next morning, it was 70% less red, with only a tiny bump. I mean, it’s impossible to have a zit go away 100% overnight, but I will happily take 70% reduction, which means it’s also small enough to be covered by makeup and concealer. The patch is latex-free with hydrocolloid so no worries sensitive skin, you will be fine! The patch is a little thick but who is looking while you’re sleeping anyway. If it works, it works! The patch contains no parabens, no fragrances, no sulfates, no dyes and no latex, so pretty safe for most skin types. The patch is easy to stick on, and easy to peel off as well, I had no problems taking it off in the morning. Very happy with the first night of results. I used the patch again for night 2, and by day 3, my zit was barely noticeable.
I haven’t had to use the 12mm one yet but I’m sure my porous nose will need it at some point. I feel confident that the patch will help reduce random unwanted breakouts (and usually at the worst times, like before an event), grab a patch and try it!

I received the Children’s TYLENOL® Liquid Grape flavor for free in exchange for an honest review. This is a new flavor for our young household and was received with much joy. Well, as much joy a sick child can express – it was met with a great “oooh I love grape!!” Tylenol is a very trust brand, I mean I had it growing up, so really excited for this new product.
It has been a sick summer here, as expected with multiple young children who attends day care, and after the cold and flu medicine shortage not too long ago, we are very happy to try out the Tylenol liquid grape. My 4-year-old developed a slight fever 2 days ago and it turned into a full blown fever by night time. After a little bit of the Tylenol liquid grape, he went back to sleep and by morning, he was fine. He actually slept through most of the night, we only woke him once to give him a bit more medicine. Always check how much to feed your child according to the instructions, by age and weight. The liquid went down so smoothly, it helps that he loves grape, there was no fight at all! Every 5ml there’s 160mg of Acetaminophen and one of the best thing is that it is parabens free! I would not like to give anything that would harm my children in the long run.
Now that the 4-year-old is feeling better, it’s only a matter of time when the others will get sick (oh I am not surprised). This Tylenol is good for children from age 2-11 so it will be ready for the next sick child. We will definitely be picking up another bottle next time we are at the drug store!

I received the Vida by PADERNO 6-Slice Digital Air Fryer Toaster Oven for free in exchange for an honest review. OMG this is THE ONE appliance to have in your kitchen, no matter what size your kitchen is. It has 12 pre-set cooking functions and after using this for about a week as a young family, I can tell you, you don’t need any other appliances ever again!
Few things to keep in mind – definitely read the manual before you start, there’s so many functions in this little powerful oven it’s important to take a look and see what it can do. Also, there’s no “function” showing on the oven LCD screen so keep the manual around for a few days (like we did) until you get familiarized with the oven. I do wish the functions are listed in the screen, but I guess there’s not enough space. The icons are useful but things like broil and reheat and keep warm, would definitely be more accessible if it’s listed on the display. Keep the manual nearby for a few days!
The oven does get hot (like any other oven), so make sure you follow the manual rules of leaving a clear space of at least 10cm around the oven (my partner used a measuring tape just to be safe!) The oven door is a little hard to pull sometimes and the recoil is a bit strong, just make sure your fingers are out of the way and you should be fine. Otherwise it shuts tight and we can confirm no air gets let out. The 4 trays that come with it are easily slid in and out, and easy to clean.
Now on to the functions!
Roast + convection: we roasted a small pork tenderloin. The baking tray is amazing and the fan was slightly louder than our old toaster oven, but it’s STRONG! Absolutely LOVE the light function, you can see everything as it cooks, and turn it off when you don’t need it to save energy. The pork turned out really well, and we were able to fit in veggies as sides in the oven too (when we could not before).
Bake + convection: we baked a small Sheppard’s pie, absolutely no complaints there! The pie baked well and the wide tray actually made pulling it out of the oven so much easier and less risk of burning your hand.
Broil: we broiled the pork tenderloin for about 5 minutes, love the preset so there’s no need to google what temperature and how long. Again, the light was amazing and you can check to see how the surface is cooking without opening the door.
Keep warm: as a household with small children, the keep warm function is a godsend for us adults. My dinner was sitting nice and warm after the little ones have been fed, and so we could enjoy a warm meal.
Reheat: similar to the keep warm function, the reheat is amazing on its own. We haven’t had to use our microwave since we got this little new powerful oven. 15 minutes (preset) is all it takes to reheat almost any meal. The best part, the reheat gave my leftover Sheppard’s pie a nice crisp crust.
Air fry: I was a bit skeptical of the air frying option, since we have a “regular air fryer” that works pretty well. Surprisingly the air fryer basket holds up just as much as our regular air fryer. It can hold up to 4lb of food, we didn’t test it out to see if it was 4lb but it held enough frozen chicken nuggets for 3 hungry children + 1 adult. 14 minutes in and we had a delicious snack. It might be worth noting you need to be in the air fryer function to increase the temperature, as each function has its own temperature limit. It didn’t make too much of a mess, but maybe because it was frozen nuggets. I’m sure if we air fry greasier items it will drip to the oven pan below. The distance between the pan and basket is pretty good so I don’t think there will be much splatter (but yet to be determined).
Toast/Bagel: this is our daily morning use. Instead of 4 pieces of toast in our old oven, we can now toast 6! LOVE the “shade” function where you can select different cook levels of the bread and bagel. The difference between the two functions is one will turn on both top and bottom heating rods, and bagel will only turn on the top ones.
Pizza: Haven’t had a chance to try out the pizza function yet but assuming it’s similar to baking but with a cook time preset, which if I haven’t mentioned already, LOVE the presets! Takes so much time and stress out of cooking! Looking forward to a pizza making night soon!
Dehydrate: I’ve never used a dehydrator before, so we tried out with a few small pieces of bananas. Again, thank you for the pre-sets, we had them in over night (plugged in but away from all appliances, just in case it got too warm – it didn’t). The dried bananas were AMAZING! Now we don’t have to buy them at the shops, we can make our own, bananas, apples, mangoes, jerky!!!
All in all, this is an AMAZING machine and honestly, we’ve been using it multiple times a day since we got it, I don’t know how we lived before this! 100/100!

I received the DAP ALEX ULTRA Advanced Latex Sealant for free in exchange for an honest review. This came at the perfect time, the wall in my laundry room had a crack for the longest time (thank you previous owner who did not care), and it was the perfect weekend to try it out. We LOVE it! It worked like a charm! We cleaned the area of dust and debris, let it dry, and applied the acrylic latex sealant, and approximately 15 minutes later, it was dried! I was slightly worried the color wouldn’t match the wall, but the white was perfect and looked seamless and blended in. We prefer acrylic latex sealant than caulk as there’s more elasticity and easier to correct any rookie mistakes (like over applying or making a mess or missing the spots altogether, yes speaking from personal experience!) Sealant in general also is better for walls/objects that will shift or move or shrink, like the wall in my laundry room. This DAP Alex Ultra has anti-shrink technology and it’s been 2 days, my laundry wall still looks great! We thought we would need to paint over it (as the white color may not match) but it actually did, so thank you DAP for saving us a bucket of paint! Application was super easy, it did not smell at all (unlike other brands). It says it is waterproof and that we have yet to test it (but probably won’t for a while, I am not hoping for a laundry accident!) but the touch and look definitely feels water resistant and smooth. -
