I will always always always return to Burt's Bees. Guys, climates change. I've lived in the prairies of Saskatchewan and Alberta, I've been to BC where we have the salty air of the ocean and into the heavier moist air of Ontario and Quebec. I've travelled across Europe and enjoyed the amazonian air across Ecuador's many biosystems. All areas are compatible with this lip gloss. All seasons. I've strayed over the years, trying different brands to keep these aging lips young, but I always come back to this one. It keeps lips moist, glides on easy, and doesn't melt quick in weird climates or car dashboards. You can find this little yellow tube in every room of my house and most of my pockets. That said, I'm not a fan of the variations of Burt's...just plain old original is my safe option for these lips I love so much! -

Even without a bathtub we find use for these salts. Epsom salts are so beneficial, and these ones are so well crafted with different essential oil combinations, we just love to try them all! We use them on the floor of the shower (my hippie energy cleansing, if you're down with it,) but also in more expected places like a nice hot bath (as a girl with chronic pain, these are an ESSENTIAL self care item,) and even in the kitchen sink for a foot soak (my latest innovation, since my current apartment has no tub!) they dissolve well, smell great and leave you feeling soothed and pampered. -

Here is where I admit I'm a gym fiend. I started a few years ago and eventually I decided I wanted a little more pep in my step so I started experimenting with preworkout supplements. Typically I would switch between brands to keep it fresh and keep my body guessing but I haven't been able to switch away from Iron Kingdom! It consistently gives me a good sustained energy for my workouts, which include everything from yoga to running, lifting to body weight workouts. Doesn't matter what I do, it keeps me going (with a little buzz and tingle.) white freezie is my favourite flavour, and the value is well worth it! -

I won't lie...I've been pretty blessed in the skin department. My mom didn't teach me much about make-up OR skin care growing up so I didn't do much of anything until my late 20s. Once I decided to smarten up and start taking care of this oh-so-important and massive organ, I got right into the St Ives line. I do love this one, but I prefer it once a week, filling in the rest of the time with their radiant skin cleanser, because this one can be a little rough for daily use. Regardless, I love anything in their lines because they are straight forward and effective! -

So I grew up with the most annoying frizzy thin hair, "mousey" was what I always called it. Well, getting into my thirties I'm still trying things because I haven't lost faith that my mane can be something to write home about! Enter: this shampoo. At first I used it every once in awhile to strip all the crud out from my other products, however in the last year I've taken to using ONLY this. twice a week...no conditioner, NOTHING else. Holy moly you guys, I have curls! The prettiest beach wavy curls and it's from the joy that this shampoo brought to my hair with no one else invited to the party. For the first time possibly ever, I have found love for my mousey hair! (In the photo, before is on the left and after is on the right.) -
