There's a slightly sweet smell once it warms up on my body, but unfortunately it doesn't last long (not even five minutes). The lingering scent is distinctly rose-like and too old-fashioned for my taste.

Wasn't expecting such a minty smelling post-wax oil (it smells like toothpaste, to be honest), but it was effective at calming my fair, flushed post-wax skin. I'll admit I prefer the mini bottle that comes in a spray format with the kit over this pump-style bottle, but you get so much! So value-wise this is a great buy for the quality/effectivity.

I normally use hard wax and have not used strips in a long time, but these worked great. I like how easy it is to cut the strips down to fit them more closely to my body, and they're certainly less messy than melting wax. There are 36 strips total per box, and they come in 3 sizes. These are much better than the kind I used to get at Sally Hansen's, for sure. That being said, I am half Japanese and have fine body hair so I can't say how well this would work for someone with coarse hair. I LOVE the spray applicator on the mini oil bottle. Less messy than pouring it out and so easy to use. The kit comes with a mini spray, so you don't have to buy the separate full-size if you don't want to. And very cool how the plastic they use for the strips is biodegradable.

I love the smell. It smells like a Marc Jacobs perfume, or like something he would put out. Flirty, floral, sweet, and feminine. It didn't really emulsify when mixed with a little water, but I do appreciate how easily it washed off my face for a cleansing oil. It's light, not heavy. But it didn't reduce the appearance of my pores, just left my skin feeling clean if not looking clean. I would not purchase this outside of this promotion, but I am open to a conditioning body oil or conditioning hair oil in this scent. It smells so lovely.

I am sensitive to detergent-like scents, so I was happy to discover these hard wax pods really had no scent whatsoever. I was also a little hesitant about the color, but they left no stain on my fair skin. Not even temporarily. There were no clumps after the heating process was through (I used these with a warmer from the same brand, so I didn't have to stir the wax. Each pack comes with 15 pods. I was able to do a half-leg wax on both of my legs with 4 pods total (I'm 5'2" and on the skinny side, and also have almost no hair on the back of my calves so ymmv). Love how these are made with a natural ingredient (beeswax), because I am not a fan of chemical hair removers. Overall, highly recommended. Great quality for the price. You can purchase these pods from Ulta or from Parissa's website.

PROS: Love the removable silicone pot. Makes for easy cleanups (after the leftover wax cools down), and it's heat resistant. When the unit is on the highest setting, the wax does melt quickly. And hard wax really is the best, imho. No need for multiple applications. Takes all the hair off in one pull. I used these on my lower legs.
CONS: The unit casing is plastic and gets a bit hot at the top, so be careful. It's also super light (even when filled with wax) and is easily tipped over. Again, be cautious. Also, the power cord is kinda short. It's approximately 44" long, which seems like a lot, but really isn't in a practical sense. It's not long enough for where I'd like to put it in the bathroom, and these types of power cords cannot be used with an adapter or extension cord.
OVERALL: I would purchase this if I had to replace this. It's small enough to take on trips and effectively gets the job done.
