I read it to make sure it was appropriate for a 15 year old to read. I was in my mid twenties at the time. Once I started reading I couldn't stop. Each new book had to be mine as soon as it was out. Even now they sit on my shelf tempting my husband to dispose of them despite my warnings he had best not even try. I loved the books. Read first. Movie is nothing like the books. -
