I love this whole concept of shampoo in a bar form. Koodo’s to Garnier, for doing the right thing. Zero plastic waste (thumbs up), Cruelty Free (thumbs up), 94% plant based (thumbs up). I tried the Oat Delicacy bar, and it smells awesome. Does that smell last after washing? No. Not so much in my case. My hair feels nice, soft, and squeaky clean. I have long, thin hair and there was no way I wasn’t putting in some form of conditioner, so can’t say for 100% the softness/shin was from just the shampoo but it did pair well with my conditioner. Not that I expected there to be but moving on…. If your ever on the hunt for trying something new, I’d give this a go. The only little downsize I have to say and this is me just trying to find a negative, is that it’s a little weird rubbing a hard bar of “soap” on your head and then trying to get your hair underneath (long hair). But it does lather well & quickly so like I said, I’m just mentioning one tiny, tiny negative. It’s also suppose to last up to 2 months. If anyone out there in retail experience, we all know about the “up to”claims (wink). Lol. So we will see. Again if you see it, pick one up. It’ll be an experience. I found this cream to definitely be lightweight. It was nice and refreshing on the skin. It’s close to a gel to liquid consistency (in my opinion). The one thing I wasn’t to keen on, was the smell. It was a little on the strong side and for this reason, I’m unsure on whether or not I would purchase this in the future. Also I don’t believe it has the 72 hour claim. To mean that’s a little extreme, and far fetched (gimmicky). If you like lightweight water cream type products, I’d give it a go but I prefer a didn’t brands version if I had to choose one over the other. The only thing I have to say is, compared to prices/sizes of reg. sized frozen pizza, it’s a little on the pricey side for what your getting, and what else you could be getting. But overall, like I said, it was pretty tasty/yummy and I will be picking up more in the future.. Just when there’s a sale. Love that they are made with real fruit, no added sugar, and you get some much needed fibre into your diet. I received a full value coupon to redeem, in exchange for this review. I was selected to try the Tropical flavour (Pineapple, orange, banana, & apple). I found it to be a watery mush of a cup. The only hint of taste I could get was of a slight bit of pineapple. With that being said, yes I still would recommend and I will be purchasing again myself in the future. I’m looking forward to trying the Raspberry flavour (also available in Mango Peach). So from that stand point, it was pretty creative. As for the actual body wash, the scent is slightly comparable to Irish Spring, but as a more masculine aspect. Not too over power, just right. The body wash does it’s job. Lathers up good, but left skin feeling a bit tight/dry. Would still buy this in the future.
