I am lucky I would like to think I have nice eyelashes but hey who can't use a boost! I tried this mascara 3x and had to throw it out. I loved it the first time - told my oldest daughter to try it and then it happened I used it a third time and it kind of flaked off, but more interesting I did my end of day routine and noticed when I was removing the mascara my eyelashes actually started breaking! I phoned and asked my daughter not to use it
TOO LATE - the same thing happened to her, I will never try this stuff again. Perhaps it was an old batch or something I just don't know why that would happen. It scared the crap out of me!

I bought this because I loved the smell and price. Unfortunately that was all that is good about this product for me. I have a little longer than shoulder length, naturally curly, fine but thick hair; it smelled great but the smell does not last and it makes my hair a little greasy near the roots but dry and frizzy 2/3 from the ends. My daughters also tried it - one has waist length fine straight thin hair and it seemed to do the same thing for her and it did not smell clean and fresh. My other girl has fine, shorter, natural curly hair and it was not to bad for her, again her hairy was frizzy. It gave us that appearance of having naturally curly hair that was brushed out - which we never do. Love the curls, embrace the curls - do not wreck them! -

This may be the cat's mewow for some people but not me! I have acne prone skin and depending on what I use on my face it can become very oily. I felt very greasy after I put it on and it left a smell on my face that I can not explain. Then it was like lightening within a day I could feel the break out starting. I could not find a color match for my skin it was either to pink or dark - I have a combination of olive and honey skin tone (thanks mom and dad) Even when using primer it seemed to melt off within hours.
When I answer the phone I would prefer to not need to wash the make up off of it before hanging up; but yet could not wash the residual (from sponge) off my hands!!!

I love this stuff, it gives a nice finish and I use this in combination with Garnier Acne Lotion without any problems, it covers small discolorations from prior blemishes and larger pores beautifully. I always have had problems finding the right shade but luckily I found it with Almay! The smell is not overwhelming, if there is one thing I have it is a sensitive sniffer and when I go out for dinner I like to smell the food not the product on my face. I know that I do not look tired on the days I wear this make-up - believe me with 7 kids I have tiring days. I also noticed it does not mysteriously disappear after a few hours - good staying power! -

After washing with a "transparent soap" I will pat my skin dry wait 10 minutes (as with any product waiting the ten minutes is optimal for absorbing told to me by the pharmacist and Dermatologist) then apply the lotion 2x a day. It feels very cooling with no burning, itching or redness after applying. It is very effective at reducing my acne, it is almost completely vanished.
I can still apply make-up over the lotion with no streaking or irritation, I used to put make-up on and be guaranteed a nice break out with a few days - but not with this underneath. It really helped diminish the overall amount of oil, I can even feel the difference after a workout.
