Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

I have been using the moisturizer gel for about a year now I while I have not noticed a dramatic difference in my skin, the results are very good, the gel texture makes it an excellent choice for summer times and gives an overall light and breezy feeling on the skin. The product is quickly absorbed by the skin, renders the surface soft and bouncy and makes an great base for makeup. I have a normal-combinaison skin so a lighter moisturizer was a must and it has done it job very well. This product's best feature is definetly the soft "barrier" it forms, a very thin layer that feels almost like a primer that preps up the skin for the day. On the downside, I did find that the product, by its nature, was not as rich or moisturizing as other types of items (i.e gel vs cream or serum) and though it is very effective in delivering a good light moisture, it is not a revolutionary product; many other brands are comparable in the results they give and are within the same price bracket.
Good product, reliable compagny and reasonable price make for a good buy in this gel but now that my bottle is used up, I will be looking elsewhere for a more "wow!" effect, but this will surely appear on my "if all else fails" list. In future purchases, I am thinking of investing in a combo purchase with this gel to see if matching oils, cleansers and scrubs of the same line of products might increase the potency of individual items.

Absolutely fantastic! I was a little suspicious of the colour on first application (I chose the yellowish tint for dark circles) but it fades away and blends perfectly into make up after a few seconds. A fluffy soft sponge serves as an applicator (which is very nice) and allows for a smaller quantity of product to be diffused all over the necessary zone. The texture is smooth and looks liquid without dripping all over and does not cake up your under eye region. Over all super concealer, quite opaque without streaky finish, will do great if you have fine lines around your eyes as well.
The only down side I see are the shades it is available in: for flesh colours, only the fairest of them all will find satisfaction. Other tints include yellow (for dark spots) and green, but again all in very pale shades. The Maybelline web site says the shades vary from "porceleine" to "tan beige" but I honestly kept seeing only 3-4 shades in every drugstore I went to.
If you can find the right shade for you, it is a great, not too expensive product that does wonders!

I used the aquasource gel as a daily moisturizer for 2 years before switching to something else...not a bad product, just a very average one. I have a normal-combinaison skin and the product did moisturize as promised but did not restore elasticity, bounce or add anything special in the skin care routine. It is a light and airy moisturizer, so a good choice for spring/summer time but I found it left a filmy residue that made make up difficult to put on. The lack of SPF protection was a bit disapointing as well, since its a refreshing and light product that would be best for sunny seasons. On the bright side, it smells very nice and as said, has a very watery texture that feels refreshing on the skin. The immediate application results in a satisfaying sensation but on the long run, the product is not well absorbed by the skin rendering a sticky flaky texture.
Over all, a very light moisturizer with a nice smell if worn without makeup but no distinctive features that would be worth a 50$ purchase when a variety of cheaper «gels» by garnier, neutrogena and nivea do the exact same job (if not better) for half the price.
I am unimpressed but not dissatisfied with it, hence wishy-washy feelings towards the product ; best advice is unfortunately try it on you, and see the results, from what I can see it either does miracles on certain skin types or nothing at all in others....

Perfect product! Cheap, effective and ebony black. I keep on trying different brands of mascara but always return to this one. The texture allows for an ellongating effect while separating individual lashes. Probably better suited for individuals who already have «thick» lashes for that the mascara does not cramp up the lashline (a pro for me, no crumbly, sticky or granulated look, but if you have thin lashes...meh...). l'Oréal manages to give the false-lash doe eye look while maintaning a «natural» style ; blackened, lengthened and defined. And lets talk about price point: halleluia! At 8-9$, available at every drugstore (even small, down-street-to-your-dorm ones), walmart, target, you-name-it, it is the miss Universe for world wide lash peace and serenity of mascara. To me, L'Oréal 's mascara is comparable to high-end brands such as benefits and lancôme. -

The scrub and lip balm are ok, nothing special but do their works. My biggest disapointment was with the hydranting cream; sticky with a filmy residue, takes forever to sink in the skin, makes make up impossible to apply, etc. I have a normal-combinaision skin, no particular skin condition and it made me break out (small red bumps), with oily patches on the t-zone, while it is supposed to do the exact opposite. Perhaps it is my skin responding weirdly to the perfums or scented ingredients in the cream, but after discussing with other users of the same cream, the white filmy residue and sticky feeling seems generalized.
In sum, a heavy and patchy cream that feels like you've been putting egg whites on your face. On the bright side, if this products does work on your skin it isn't that expensive, but definitely not a competitive product in the drugstore category.

I have been obsessed with the new matte trend and used to get the NYX liquid lipstick and decided to take a chance on a cream, litteral «lipstick». LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I got the whipped caviar colour as a test and ended up purchasing perfect red, merlot and eden shades. The texture is soft on the lips, not a true tightening«suede» effect but dries up to a matte effect whithin secondes. Application is easy and smooth and can be used without a lipliner for a more casual on-the-go look or layered and lined for more dolled-up option. And the colours; so rich, pink and red undertones (true reds, no «orangy» pigments), and a wide spectrum of shades from your very traditional nudes to funky blues or purples. If you are looking for a great easy lipstick to dive in the matte trend, pick up your NYX lipstick!!
On the downside, this product is not a longlasting lipstick: don't get me wrong, it holds its shade and matte look all-day but does transfer a lot if you are drinking coffe or eating a sandwich
Over all great price and shade (so many of them), stands out in its drugstore category by the intensity of the colour in all its shades.
