I was excited to try these as the ingredient list is literally 7 ingredients long and is filled with things that I already eat - not to mention a few “superfoods!” No added sugars or colours or preservatives... all natural, if you will.
But I did not enjoy it. For something with such a small ingredient list I’m not sure how it confused my palette so badly. The texture was actually intriguing to me. It almost has a licorice texture that was chewy and soft all at the same time. The flavour was weird. It didn’t really taste like much of anything. I could taste the coconut and the cocoa and that’s about it. The cocoa was so bitter it was unappetizing. I’m all for healthy foods and superfoods and quick snacks but there is no reason that it still can’t taste good. With honey, coconut, dates, goji berries, chickpeas (???), cocoa and hemp seeds, there is no reason for this NOT to taste amazing! :(
Positive note though, they do come in convenient little snack sized pouches with two balls! They were filling, just not enjoyable.

I was actually surprised with how much I enjoyed this product! The BENEFIT GIMME BROW VOLUMIZING FIBER GEL was a product I was long interested in due to my fine, blonde and scarce brows. My brows take me the longest in my makeup application and many times I still feel as though they don't look the way I would like. I have tried almost every type of product on the block in regards to brow makeup - except a fibre gel! I actually washed off all of my makeup and went bare face for my first application because I literally look like I have no brows with a clean face... my brows are seriously SO blonde.
I was impressed! I followed the directions and defined my brows with the tip and then brushed through to tame, tint and volumize! They looked awesome! I will say that they didn't provide as much "volume" as I would have expected, but it was a good amount for me. This product is perfect just the way it is if I am looking for a natural brow look and I can wear it with a full face of makeup and not feel "naked" or like they are barely there. When I go out or for special occasions I did add more to it with my normal brow products just to give my face that extra oomph. But by no means could you not wear this product everyday.. it is fantastic! The pigment is just right as well. Its enough to tint while still looking natural.
The cons of the product for me are 1) price - I think it's a tad pricey considering they are selling the fibre volume aspect of the product but the volume was nothing special 2) the smell - the product had a really chemically smell that overpowered my face for a few minutes until it dried 3) the brush is really hard - when applying it actually kind of hurt (and no, this isn't my first rodeo with a brow brush... it should not hurt that bad)!
Overall I actually enjoyed this product more then I anticipated that I would but I am glad my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to try it. I have a new wonderful brow product for days that I want to look natural and luscious in the brow department!

As someone who drinks protein drinks almost daily to help get a quick protein fix in between meals, I was looking so forward to trying out a new line of protein drinks. I received the PREMIER PROTEIN CHOCOLATE SHAKE from ChickAdvisor to try for free in exchange for my honest review and I was sadly left disappointed. This flavour WAS better then the vanilla... but I still was not impressed.
I chilled the shakes in my fridge and grabbed one to take to work with me after my lunch break as I am underweight and was recommended my doctors to add protein to my diet wherever possible! I was anticipating this brand of shakes and especially this flavour to be fantastic as I had read some promising reviews prior to trying but I was left disappointed. The taglines for the beverage are "rich, creamy, chocolaty goodness" .. It was far from creamy and I did not find the flavour to be rich. The consistency was almost like water which disappointed me. I prefer my protein drinks to be thicker almost like a milk. This was so watery and thin. It also tasted incredibly artificial which is one of my biggest complaints in regards to protein drinks; chocolate usually makes everything taste better and chocolate protein drinks are some of the easiest flavours to satisfy. Very seldom will I not enjoy an artificial chocolate beverage because even if it is artificial, it is still hard to mess up. This was not terrible and it was far better then the vanilla but It still was hard to stomach. Flavor and consistency wise I was extremely let down and I could not finish the entire bottle.
In regards to protein content and all that jazz - it is actually a very good protein drink if you can get past the flavour. With 30 grams of protein and 24 vitamins and minerals, this brand is hard to beat. 160 calories and ONLY 1 gram of sugar also gives it bonus points. Unfortunately for me, this was a miss but I am sure there are people who will enjoy it.
We received two shakes and for the second one I went online and made their 'High Protein Peppermint Mocha' which helped substantially with the taste. It tasted okay and I am glad to see that they provide recipes to help with the taste of their products.

As someone who drinks protein drinks almost daily to help get a quick protein fix in between meals, I was looking so forward to trying out a new line of protein drinks. I received the PREMIER PROTEIN VANILLA SHAKE from ChickAdvisor to try for free in exchange for my honest review and I was sadly left disappointed.
I did my usual workout and then opened up a cold shake from the fridge and was anticipating it to be as good as some of the reviews I had read... The taglines for the company are "cold. creamy. classic" .. well yes it was cold because I put it in the fridge but that is about it. It was far from creamy. The consistency was almost like water which disappointed me. I prefer my protein drinks to be thicker almost like a milk. This was so watery and thin. It also tasted incredibly artificial which is one of my biggest complaints in regards to protein drinks; especially vanilla flavored. I love vanilla flavored anything but there is nothing worse then artificial vanilla. Flavor and consistency wise I was extremely let down and I could not finish the bottle.

I have been using VIM BATHROOM SPRAY for as long as I have had a bathroom to clean! This stuff is incredible and no matter how many times I purchased a competing product, I always come back to this one. You can use it on virtually any bathroom surface and it is so easy to clean and use. For simple messes or an everyday clean I simply spray, leave for a few seconds and then wipe. For harder to clean messes I let it sit and "marinate" for an extra minute or so. I use it in the shower, tub, toilet, and sink and it gets rid of soap scum, dirty bathroom grime and even toothpaste and water marks. VIM products are always great quality for an even better price and it truly works like no other. I would recommend this to anyone who dreads cleaning the bathroom! -

I tried KNORR CHICKEN BOUILLON CUBES for the first time a couple days ago as I received the product for free to try in exchange for my honest opinion. I have seen the cubes in the grocery store before but was reluctant to switch from the liquid broth that I have been using for years. It got chilly outside so I decided to make my delicious (almost famous ;) ) homemade chicken noodle soup! I made it just as I always do except I substituted the cubes for the broth and well, I did not like it as much.
I don't buy "low sodium" options in food because a) I have low blood pressure so I need the sodium and b) I LOVE salt and think its crucial for all cooking and baking. So therefore, salt isn't an issue for me and it's welcome in my cooking. The switch however with the bouillon cubes made my dish way way way to salty. Even for my liking. The flavour itself was fantastic and the broth had a wonderful home cooked chicken flavour. I would probably use them again but just omit any other salt your recipe contains.
They are super simple to use as well. All you do is let one cube dissolve in 2 cups of boiling water... and BAM. A delicious and hearty broth! It takes about 10 seconds with a whisk. In regards to price, these things are a great bang for your buck. They are cheaper then the liquid forms which is nice and the work is minimal. I would recommend these!

The DOVE REFRESH + CARE VOLUME DRY SHAMPOO is an incredible product! I love dry shampoo as it is a life saver when I am too lazy or in a rush to wash my hair - this product seriously has all of the best qualities of all of the dry shampoos I have tried in the past. First, the smell is soooo good! It isn't "chemically" or overpowering like many other brands and instead is light and almost florally. I have yet to pin point the exact smell, but either way it is very nice!
The most important thing that I like about this product is that it does not leave my hair looking white or grey! This is so important as I have dark roots. Nothing is more annoying then looking like you have dandruff or funny colored roots. All you do is spray, let it set and give your roots a little tussle. It works and blends so easily. It leaves my hair feeling fresh, soft and most importantly, NOT oily. I absolutely love this product. A little goes a long way which is nice as the product is slightly more expensive then other versions... however I would pay this price for the excellent quality and effectiveness! :)

I received the DR. BRANDT PORES NO MORE PORE REFINER as a free sample in one of my Sephora orders - as someone with aging skin I was excited to try out a new primer that promised to add a little glow to my complexion. Normally I wear a matte primer and I love the way it looks... buuut sometimes it's fun to stray.
The first time I used the product I was not a fan and I found myself wanting to take it off mid way through the day. BUT after realizing my insecurities were probably due to the shine I am not used to and the glow I don't normally have, I decided to give it another go... and I enjoyed it!
The product smells quite chemically and it is a soft brown shade - two things I am not fond of. However, the product does appear transparent on the skin and does not affect your skin color. The smell also does go away eventually, but yuck! A little of the product goes a long way which is GREAT because it is quite expensive. I had a tiny sample size package and it lasted me 5 days which is longer by about 2 days then most other sample primers I have received. It applies smoothly and easily to the face with my fingertips!
As for underneath my makeup... I think it did a pretty good job of concealing pores and imperfections whilst giving a nice glow. It is not a matte primer and I think it looks like a nice natural finish. It does have a little bit of sparkly glitter look which I could also do without though. It kept my makeup looking good for about 5 hours until the shine started to come through extra - but as someone with oily skin, that is expected.
Overall a pretty good product but I would not purchase again as my complexion profile does not match with the products capabilities.

I received the EOS ORGANIC SMOOTH SPHERES LIP BALM IN SWEET MINT from ChickAdvisor to try for free in exchange for my honest opinion and I was delighted to see they included the Sweet Mint flavour as it was one of the few that I had never tried. I love anything mint flavored and it is usually my go to scent when purchasing lip products! I have used the EOS products in the past but I found that they didn't moisturize and hydrate as well as I would like and since I am prone to chapped and dry lips, this brand was not one of my "go-to" products for that reason. I did frequently purchase EOS product to wear underneath lipsticks however because their flavours have always been delicious and they don't have a whole lot of gloss and apply more matte then many other brands. So needless to say, I was excited to hear that they revamped their formula and was excited I was able to try it!
First off, the flavour and smell is INCREDIBLE. We received the Sweet Mint and Strawberry Sorbet flavours in our box from ChickAdvisor and even though they were individually packed inside the box, upon opening I was met with a fantastic aroma of mint and deliciousness. So naturally, I opened that flavour first and tried it right away. SO good. I expected an overwhelming amount of mint, but it was just right. They added some feel good oils and butters to their new formula (Shea butter, sunflower seed oil, and coconut oil!) which I think really improved their moisturizing and hydration capabilities. My lips felt hydrated and moisturized for much longer then they did with the previous formula and I can usually go a few hours without reapplication (If I can wait that long!). I will now choose this as a way to moisturize and hydrate instead of solely as a base for other lip products. Application really is smooth and easy and I think they are really taking shape into their "Evolution of Smooth" branding!
Although I love the new EOS formula and the added moisturizing benefits, there are still a few things I don't like. I find the product to still feel a little waxy on the lips. It is definitely more hydrating like I said earlier but the waxy aftermath with the old formula is still there. And lastly, I am still not crazy about the iconic sphere shape as it makes it hard to pack around without looking awkward in your pockets. But, that's more of a suggestion to packaging and not really a knock at the product. Overall, the new and revamped formula is fantastic and I think EOS is making great changes to an already awesome lip care line!
