I picked up the KNORR ONE SKILLET MEALS IN MEDITERRANEAN LEMON CHICKEN WITH BARLEY as it was on sale at the grocery store and I saw it as a product offer on Family Rated which intrigued me! I love the idea of a one skillet meal, especially on busy days. This one is pretty straightforward - dice the carrots, cook the chicken, throw it all together and wait 23 minutes.
23 minutes was not nearly enough time - I added an extra 5 but didn't wanna overcook it knowing it probably could have used a little longer. The recipe directions were super simple and it was very easy to make but my goodness was it bland. Upon smelling the barley mix in the bag I thought for sure it was going to be VERY lemony - I figured it would be too overpowering and I would not like the dish because of it. Turns out, the flavour cooks off and you are left with no flavour except the barley and whatever you seasoned your chicken with.
I found this on sale for $2.50 (regular price is closer to $5 a pack) and it was not even worth that. A bag of barley costs $1.50 at most and to spice It up yourself is just as good, if not better in my opinion. I was very disappointed and had high hopes as I have tried some of the other flavours in the Knorr Skillet line and they were delicious.
I would not recommend this to anyone nor would I purchase it again. Save your money and cook this meal from scratch!

I was selected to try the CANADA DRY CRANBERRY GINGER ALE for free in exchange for my honest opinion and I was blown away! We are avid ginger ale drinkers in my family and it's rare to come to our house without spotting some in the fridge. Cranberries don't do much for us but we were pleasantly surprised as to how incredibly delicious this was!
The cranberry flavour blends seamlessly with the ginger ale and the flavours form the most refreshing palette. It is not too sweet, or tart - it is just perfect. We found this tasted the best over ice and we loved the pink hue of the beverage. As much as I love regular ginger ale, I think I would choose this flavour over the original if I was given the option.
We also made a winter sangria with this ginger ale and added some white wine, apples, cranberries and a sprig of thyme - it was incredible! I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys ginger ale and carbonated beverages as it is a truly unique and delicious flavour experience. Only downfall is the price - this was on sale at my grocery store for $6 + deposits and taxes.

I didn't find it to have an artificial taste whatsoever. The Instant Coffee mix is super easy to make - pour the contents in a cup, add hot water, mix and enjoy! It is delicious, sweet and creamy! -

I am not usually an Instant Coffee fan, but the NESCAFE SWEET & CREAMY ORIGINAL INSTANT COFFEE is amazing! I usually drink fresh brewed coffee just black but since being introduced to these I am hooked. They are so easy to make - put the powder in a cup and add hot water. Mix and enjoy! The original version does not have any added flavours it just tastes like you added some milk and sugar. It is creamy and delicious. This is a great alternative for when I am in a rush or craving a little extra sweetness in my morning cup. -

I absolutely love the Hair Food Manuka Honey & Apricot Conditioner! I am always on the hunt for a hair care line that won’t fade my colour treated hair, while also keeping it nourished and healthy looking. I love that the conditioner is sulfate, dye, paraben and mineral free but still has the ability to cleanse and nourish my hair.
I have been using this conditioner in combination with the matching shampoo for the last week and the results are astounding! For starters, I love the pump top bottle - super convenient and easy to use with wet hands. I found that a little bit of the product goes a long way and needed only a few pumps to cover my long hair. It lathers and spreads evenly on my hair and rinses out just as well. The smell, although subtle, is incredible and lasts after the conditioner has been rinsed and hair has been dried. I’ve noticed my hair is soft, shiny and healthy looking and my colour has not been compromised.
Overall I found that this conditioner has helped me easily maintain my salon colour without using any harmful ingredients. It smells incredible and leaves my damaged hair looking healthy. I would recommend this to anyone with dry, colour treated hair and will continue to use and purchase this conditioner in the future.

Aveeno continues to be one of my favourite skincare brands and products like this are why. Oat masks are something I have been making myself for years as I love how naturally soothing they are for the skin. In the winter time I have a hard time maintaining my summer glow and my skin often looks dry and dull. Not anymore!
This mask combines prebiotic oats with pomegranate seed extract and kiwi water to help boost your skins natural glow. I used this product at night after showering while my face was still damp. After approximately 10 minutes I was able to easily wash it off with water and was left with soft and smooth skin. I didn’t necessarily notice a “glow” but it did look healthy and nourished. I love the light pink colour of the mask but the scent is a little off for me. The smell bounces back and forth between fruity and sweet to chemical like and I can’t seem to figure out which one is dominant.
Overall I love this oat mask and how easy it is to apply. I don’t think you are going to get glowing skin from using this product alone, but I think it’s a great mask for nourishing dry or irritated skin. I will recommend this to family and friends and look forward to trying out the other oat masks as well!

Aveeno is a long time favourite skin care brand of mine and I will be adding this product to my skincare routine as well. My skin tend to dry out and get irritated when the seasons change and this amazing mask has helped soothe and nourish my dry skin as summer transforms to fall.
I love the soothing properties of oats and have been using them for skincare and healing properties since I was a child. I applied this mask on my damp face after showering and left it on for approximately 10 minutes. The product was so easy to apply and spread and didn’t dry out or irritate my face. When it was time to wash off, it was easily removed with water and my skin looked healthy and nourished. The smell is subtle yet sooooo good! You can definitely smell a hint of pumpkin in which it smells fresh and pleasant and not chemical like.
I would absolutely recommend this product to friends and family as it is a great mask for dry and irritated skin. It did not cause me any breakouts or irritation and it smells amazing! You can use this in your regular skin care routine 2-3 times a week when you need some added nourishment or soothing!

I received this Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant to try for free and I loved it! It contains 1/4 moisturizing cream which helps keep my underarms smooth and moisturized. My skin gets extremely dry with the changing of the seasons and this antiperspirant has kept them hydrated and soft. I am obsessed with the smell and the scent lasts all day and leaves me smelling fresh and clean. It’s super easy to apply and all you need is a quick swipe under your armpits. I wore this stuff at my friends wedding when it was +34 in the Malibu Hills and not once did I worry or put check that I was stinking and sweating. Only thing I don’t like is that it contains aluminum. Overall would recommend this to family and friends and would purchase it again! It smells incredible and works wonderful! -
