3/5 stars for me on this! I was excited to try this new tool from Nair. It’s a flawless cleanser and massager. It’s small and handheld, to be used to cleanse your face and apply moisturizer. The tool itself it rechargeable, it adheres to its charger with magnets and detaches easily, but it doesn’t come with a wall socket attachment, just a USB cable, which is annoying. Probably so it can be sold internationally, but still.
The tool has 4 settings - the first two are for facial cleansing, and the last two are for moisturizer application. Each setting has the silicone bristles moving in different patterns, but the same speed. I used setting 1 to apply my cleanser, and setting 3 to apply my moisturizer afterwards.
I found the tool to be easy to move around my face, even around my nose - the head was small enough that I felt it was easy to use. I didn’t find it tugged on my skin, but I did find my nose and cheekbones were red and a bit irritated after cleansing - this could be because of my allergies though and the skin is more sensitive.
I am concerned about product loss on the tool, particularly my moisturizer.
You do need to clean the tool with soap and water in between your cleanser and moisturizer, which is tedious.
Overall, I am worried about microtears to my skin using this tool, so I’ll probably only use it once a week for cleansing, not every day! I might try again with my moisturizer to see how much product I lose, but I’m on the fence for long term moisturizer use.

I received a 7 day complimentary sample from Butterly/ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest review. I used this, and I have naturally combination/oily skin. I already naturally look dewy, even in the winter, so I didn't really notice a difference hydration wise. My skin looked the same, in my opinion. If anything, it felt more oily than normal, which is irritating to me, because I hate feeling oily. It dried down, but initially I needed to really let it sit before it sank in. I probably need to use this for longer than 7 days to notice a big difference, but for the price, I don't think I can justify it. There are plenty of products on the market that can help at a lower price, and wrinkles cannot be fixed by a serum. I warmed the serum in my hands and then pressed it to my skin (I didn't rub it in) as per the company's instructions on their website. The scent was nice in my opinion! I have acne even before trying this product, so I can't comment if it increased my acne or not. -

I cannot stress this enough - I LOVE this ice cream! I'm lactose intolerant, and finding good lactose free ice cream in flavours outside of chocolate or vanilla is already tough. Ben and Jerry's makes some, but the pints are small and expensive. This Chapman's ice cream is incredible - it's my two favourite flavours (chocolate and coffee) together! The ice cream is creamy and smooth, with no strange aftertaste! I find other lactose free ice creams I've had in the past have strange aftertastes (especially when they use coconut as a base to make up for the lack of lactose). But this one doesn't have any of that! I would recommend this to anyone who likes coffee and chocolate ice cream (coffee is my favourite), especially anyone who can't process lactose. I tried this product after a long day and it definitely made my day better! -

First off, I love the scent of this product and it keeps me feeling fresh and dry all day. I only use aluminum-free deodorants so I was super excited to try this one! I really liked the product but I did find that if you applied it more than twice, you had a lot of product accumulate/buildup around the edges of the container. I also found that the first application of the deodorant could cause some irritation because it was also like it was a bit rough and dry until you applied it to your armpit 2-3 times. It seemed to then react to my skin and then it would apply more like butter, but applying it right after shaving caused redness and some irritation. I received this product complimentary from ChickAdvisor for testing purposes. -

Okay I know a lot of the reviews for this mascara are lacklustre, so I was hesitant, but I received a sample with a promo code from Sephora and I’ll be buying the full sized product, hands down. This mascara is incredible. HOWEVER, I have long natural lashes, so does this make a difference? Perhaps. The wand’s bristles remind me of a cactus, almost, with the number of bristles and how “sharp” the bristles look. But I find the bristles really separate my lashes, and really prevent clumping, which is a huge issue with many mascaras that I’ve tried in the past (I have somewhat thick lashes - they clump easily). This mascara makes my eyelashes look so long and full, I can actually see my lashes when I look up. My eyes really pop with this mascara, to the point where I won’t wear eyeliner because the mascara competes with the liner and I just don’t need the liner to make my eyes look incredible. Honest and truly, I adore this mascara so so so much - I find applying it is very easy, you have plenty of product on the wand, and 3-4 swipes of the brush per eye is enough to make my eyes stand out from across the room. I’ve had people ask me what mascara I use because of how long my lashes look. If you can find a sample, I would really recommend giving it a try and not being swayed by some of the negative reviews! -

I really don't know how to describe these, except that I adore them. They're gentle on my skin, super hydrated, and they don't dry out quickly as you use them. My skin doesn't feel dry after using them either. They don't have a strange smell like some other makeup removing cloths, and I bought this in a two pack, so I got 40 wipes for $5. I buy these because I know e.l.f. is cruelty-free. I only need one wipe to remove my entire face full of makeup (foundation, concealer, bronzer, highlighter, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara). I'll continue to buy these unless I find competitive, cruelty-free alternatives. -

I bought this lipstick in the shade Snow White Red after seeing swatches of it online - I had previously bought the Snow White storybook palette from Bésame's website, and loved how pigmented the palette was, and how easy the colours were to blend. So I decided to invest in more products from this release. I adore this lipstick. It applies so well - it's so creamy, and dries down quickly - it doesn't dry down matte, but it isn't sticky or tacky. It's very pigmented, and I had people stop me at work to compliment the lipstick. The lipstick is cut a little differently from the traditional lipstick style, but I had no problems applying it. The packaging is just stunning and strong - the tube is heavy, not cheap plastic, which I love, and the design on the actual tube is even more beautiful than the picture. The box the lipstick comes in is beautiful and artfully styled with vines, flowers and apples that is completely reminiscent of the Disney Snow White cartoon we know. I've never purchased a back up of a beauty product before, but I think this may be my first time doing so, because it's just so gorgeous and it's limited edition! Bésame Cosmetics is cruelty-free. -

I really liked this set because I got to try the new watermelon serum, without having to pay the $43CAD for the full-sized product, so I bought this during the spring Sephora sale. I also got to try out the matcha toner and cleanser without having to purchase the full-sized products, and I've already purchased the A-Team from MILK, so I know I adore the cooling water stick. I know the mini sizes aren't a great price for their size, but the cooling water stick mini is great for under your eyes, which is where I mainly use this product. This also allows you to try out a bunch of their products, without buying the full sized products and not liking them, so that was my draw to this product. The serum, so far, has been really wonderful. I have oily/combo skin, and I've moved to a city with a high level of chlorine in the public water, so my skin dries out really quickly now - it's also the winter, so that doesn't help matters. My skin feels a lot more hydrated after using this serum with my moisturizer (from Derma E). They all come in this cute, jelly makeup bag, which is easy to wash - you can store your brushes in here, and it's easy to clean, so that's a bonus. I like the cleanser and toner, but they haven't super impressed me. I have other products that I like just as much, if not more, so I may not change over my products - not sure yet. They're not bad products, I just don't know if I'd move over to them because I use a lot of product when I wash my face at night, so I think I would burn through the cleanser and toner sticks quickly - faster than my current products, which aren't as expensive as the full sized cleanser and toner sticks. Even though these are minis, I will say the cooling water mini has lasted me nearly 6 months, and I use it every day (only under my eyes though). Overall, if you wanted to try some of MILK's products, I would recommend this - it also works as a super cute gift set. MILK is cruelty-free! -

I bought this at the beginning of the holiday season, and it's fantastic. This is incredibly pigmented - I know Too Faced has been criticized that a lot of their previous palettes have not been pigmented, but this one really goes against that stereotype. I need very little product to get a very pigmented look. The colours blend beautifully, very buttery. The binder and agenda are super cute, with a little tassle on the zipper. There are cute little drawings throughout the agenda. The binder has the phrase, "Don't let today be a waste of makeup" on the front. There was a mini Better Than Sex mascara and mini Melted Matte in "Sell Out". The lipstick is a beautiful dusty rose/brown shade. Too Faced is cruelty-free. -

So this product was from the Too Faced Kandee Johnson collab collection. I bought this product to try out a new highlighter and I think it's my favourite highlighter ever. You need very little product to get a beautiful glow - it applies like a rose gold colour. This is incredibly pigmented, and it smells amazing - it literally smells like candy, like Runts candy. It's very creamy and applies easily with my finger. Too Faced is cruelty-free! -
