I got this as part of the limited edition holiday kits from Pure+simple. My skin absolutely loves it. It feels incredibly soft and nourished after using it. I love that it is an exfoliant and a mask combined. First you use it to scrub your face and then you leave it on and let it sit. Then rinse it off for perfectly smooth soft skin. I love Pure+simple products because they are all natural, Canadian made, and from my favorite chain of spas.
My sample was free but I would definitely purchase it again.

I have been using this at my home for the last two weeks and have been blown away by the results.
My dishwasher is 4 years old and it usually does a great job but I usually have to run several dishes through again because they didn't get completely clean. I have gotten accustomed to rewashing a few dishes with every load. But with these power crystals I have been able to put all of the dishes away with almost every load so far! I've also noticed that my wine glasses are squeaky clean. Not a speck on them.
I love Oxiclean for laundry but had never used this brand for my dishes before. Now that I've tried it, I'm hooked. Highly recommended!

This is is the best serum I have ever tried. I am obsessed with it. I noticed a difference in my skin texture right away. It looks healthier and has more of a glow. This is a pricy product but you only need 1-2 pumps every night for visibly improved skin. I have sensitive combination skin and this works really well at giving it a more rested, luminous quality. I also think it would do exceptionally well for dry skin. I use it in conjunction with one of their face oils but you could use it with any moisturizer. I got my first bottle as a gift but this is one product I will definitely purchase again when it runs out.
Holistic Vanity is a Canadian, Toronto based company. They are also responsible for Pure Simple, my favourite place to get a facial, as well as the Pure Simple skincare line. The good news if you don't live in T.O is you can buy all of their products online.

It's musky, not overly sweet and very wearable. There are absolutely no florals in it and I love it. The price is very inexpensive so it's something you can buy on a whim, which is what I did. It's limited edition but I hope they decide to keep it. -

I love this book so much. The protagonist, Don Tillman is a nerd you can't help but root for. Socially awkward, obsessed with schedules, order and logical to a fault. But he is extremely funny, which makes this book highly enjoyable to read. I couldn't put it down. I have since purchased The Rosie Effect, which is the sequel. I hope there is a lot more Don Tillman to come. -

Think of the best bar, boutique and beauty experience you could ever imagine and then combine them into one. This place does it all: Cappuccinos, croissants, champagne, mani/pedis, blowdrys, massage, facials... you won't want to leave. The first thing you will think when walking in is why has this never been done before?? Best. Idea. Ever. Her Majesty's Pleasure is truly girly heaven.
The space is impeccably designed and well thought out. Enjoy the cafe, wine bar or fresh pastries or sip champagne over your mani/pedi. I ordered an espresso from the bar, which was brought to me by the barista while I got my manicure. The staff is welcoming and eager to please.
Owned by a husband and wife team, Jeff Armstrong and his wife really nailed the details. Prices are reasonable (Manicures start in the $30s) and they have a lot of natural options for women who want everything from their polish to skincare to be natural. They also use LoveFresh products for their mani/pedi treatments, another Toronto based natural company you should be aware of if you aren't already. I can't say enough. I will be here a lot.
Their official opening is tomorrow (October 2nd). I highly recommend you check them out!

This is a really beautiful full coverage foundation with light reflecting technology to give your skin a more radiant appearance. From a coverage perspective it's very similar to other high end full coverage foundations I've tried. My skin looks more even and radiant with this on. I think people with dry skin will especially appreciate the illuminating effects, whereas those with oily skin will want to pair with the Total Radiance Loose Powder for a more matte appearance. I have combination/oily skin but I like a more dewy appearance as I find matte products accentuate my fine lines. It's pricy, but it's a premium product.
I got an advance free sample from the brand. It will be available in Canada later on in fall 2014 at select locations of Hudson's Bay and Ogilvy.

This new one is so good that after I bathed my daughter with it for the first time I put her to bed and immediately had a bath with it myself. It's an absolutely heavenly scent with Lavender, Jasmine & Vanilla - plus all of the great things I already love about Live Clean: 98% plant derived, SLS/Sulfate free, Paraben free.
If this was available in an adult version it would be my go-to body wash. Heck, I'll just start buying the baby one for myself. LOVE it!
