This one falls under the "expensive but worth it" category. I'm really impressed with it. You massage onto dry face, lather it up with warm water and then rinse off. I was able to clean my whole face and get all of my eyemakeup and mascara off in one go. Usually I have to go over my eyes repeatedly or use a separate eye makeup remover. This does it all. Skin is left feeling soft and smooth after.
I keep this beside my sink to use before bed to remove all of my makeup. Prior to discovering this there have been many times when I've used hand soap because I can't get all of my makeup off with one product and don't want to bother with a separate eye makeup remover. Love that this does it all and does it so well.
I received this for free from the brand but I would definetely purchase it.

This is such a beautiful product. The packaging, the richness of the colour - it's impossible not to love it. I also like that when it wears off, it fades evenly rather than around the corners of your lips. It applies almost like a stain. The formula isn't thick and gloopy. There is no distinct texture or flavour. I like that. I don't like the feeling of my lips being heavily coated. I got a free sample from the brand, but my opinions are my own. -

This might be the most beautiful lipstick you will ever buy. The packaging and the shape of the lipstick are exquisite. The formula is smooth, rich and creamy. It lasts the same as your average lipstick. Cle de Peau has a beautiful shade selection, all very wearable. They sell the lipstick insert separately from the case so you can swap your new colours in and out. The case is $28 on Nordstrom's website and the lipstick insert is almost $46. I'd prefer if they sold it as one product rather than such an expensive combination you have to pay for separately since I lose my lipsticks all the time. But, Cle de Peau is known as one of the most premium cosmetics brands so you buy this because you want to pamper yourself, not compare prices.
I received free samples to test but my opinions are my own.

My only complaint is the colours do smudge a bit throughout the day beneath the eyes. I haven't had any trouble with colour transfer onto my eyelids thankfully. This formula is amazing. No, really it is - believe the hype. I painted my nails 5 days ago and they are still in pristine condition. That is saying a lot considering I painted them myself and I am terrible at it. You put on two coats of the polish, followed by one top coat. No lights, no special remover to take it off after. That's probably my favourite part. I have no patience for booking a manicure appointment to take my nail polish off so I love that you don't have to do that. The only down side is the top coat brush does tend to get colour transfer from the polish and I'm not a huge fan of the brush. It's wide and a bit stiff, which makes it harder to use. But I can deal with that considering this works so well. I love that the glossy finish hasn't degraded at all since I applied it.
I got mine for free from the brand but I already went into Shoppers Drug Mart today hoping to find some new colours to buy and they weren't there yet. They are scheduled to be in stores across Canada this month. I will definitely buy another shade when I see it!

We've been through a few playmats in my house and this one is by far the best. It's a great size. Big enough that both kids can play on it without getting in each other's way. It's reversible with cute animals in a zoo theme on one side and an adorable city scene on the other with little roads for kids to drive toy cars on. I love that we can switch it up!
It's super cushiony, which provides a more gentle landing for my baby when her toddler brother (in his own words) "lays her down". But here is the best part: It folds into a small tidy rectangle that can be easily stowed away. Our other playmats are either one large piece or large puzzle pieces that are a pain to take apart and store. This mat is so easy to store and so portable. I love that I can put it away when I want the room to be more grown up at the end of the day or bring it outside for the kids to play on the deck or grass. There is no skill required in folding it back up, which is great because I'm one of those people that can't refold a map.
It's easily cleaned, which is really important to my German sensibilities. Most importantly, both of my kids love it and really enjoy playing on it.
In the US it retails for $60 and in Canada I've seen it for around $75. There is a list of Canadian retailers on the brand's website. It's definitely worth the spend for the quality and easy portability/storage. I got mine for free to test out but I would definitely buy this. I noticed they have other themes that look pretty adorable such as an ocean one and a farm. That would make an awesome gift for someone with little kids.
Highly recommended!

I love this so much. I have tried many a matte lipstick in my day and this is without a doubt the best. Here's why: It is moisturizing. Matte lipsticks are usually quite drying. It lasts all day. It really does. I put some on in the morning, ate a snack, then had lunch and it stayed beautifully intact. I tested #47 Matte Peony and it's such a gorgeous colour. Clinique has a beautiful range of shades of the long last matte lipstick. At $19 a pop, I think it's well worth the price for the quality, longevity and luxury.
Disclaimer: I got my lipstick free from the brand. But that is true of pretty much all of my makeup. My opinions are my own.

I've been using this deodorant for about 2 years and it's my favourite. I've tried coconut vanilla and pure vanilla. My favourite is the Pure Vanilla. It just smells so good. What I like about the deodorant is that it's 100% natural, there is no aluminum and you don't have to scrub to get it to come off. These things are really important to me - especially with breastfeeding when I don't want to poke my baby's nose into anything with a lot of chemicals.
This deo isn't cheap. I buy mine from Sephora for $17 a pop. Occasionally I've found a 2 pack for a slightly lower price.
The one thing I will warn is that if you are a sweater (as I am), you will need to reapply throughout the day. Because it's natural, it wears off faster than most deodorants. But, I've tried so many deodorants and most of them don't work all day for me anyway.
I highly recommend this for anyone who prefers natural products and likes their pits to smell dreamy.

This is cute little cafe is located in St. Boniface in the heart of French speaking Winnipeg. It's tiny, but the coffee is good. When I visited, patrons were speaking French, which made the experience fell that much more authentic. I do like the coffee, but the roast isn't quite as good as some of the others I've tried. Also, pastry selection when I visit was quite limited. Still, I would definitely come here again. -

Parlour is a beautiful little independent cafe on the edge of the Exchange. It's a small space so seating is very limited and they don't provide wi-fi (the sign says talk amongst yourselves instead). The coffee is excellent. There were very few pastries when I visited so I'm not sure what the normally have in stock. They don't have lactose free milk, but they do have Almond and Soy. I tried an almond mocha and it was perfect.
My only critique is that the service is a little bit slow. Not that the employees are not responsive, but it takes a long time for the drinks to be made. The staff was very nice and helpful, suggesting shops in the area we could visit. I definitely recommend it and would go back.
