This is brand new from Lancome and it's essentially the mat version of their Creme de Brilliance lip glosses. I received the colour Magie Pourpre from the new fall 2012 Midnight Roses collection and I'm kind of obsessed with it.
First of all I love the mat texture. It's velvety not sticky like most glosses. The colour lasts and lasts. It's an all around rich lip product that is better than a lipstick and better than a traditional gloss. The colour Magie Pourpre is such a gorgeous shade of fuchsia. Love love LOVE it!

This lip butter is so soothing. It's extremely moisturizing, has a very subtle scent and is 100% natural. Love everything about it! I found this in the stash of products at the office so I got mine free but I'd definitely buy it again!

I really like this cleanser. It's great for sensitive skin, takes off makeup - including mascara (I don't use waterproof) very easily, and it has a lovely subtle scent. It says to avoid the eye area, as most cleansers do but I use it there anyway. It foams when it comes out of the pump and is really soft to use. I received mine for free but it's definitely something I'd buy. I use this every day, alternating with their facial scrub. -

If you are a new mom, you should run out and buy this right now. For real.
A couple of months after my son was born I lost a ton of hair. As it slowly started coming back, I had short pieces sticking up all over the place. My go-to hairstyle (pony tail) looks terrible with all of that going on, and even if I do a proper blow dry, my hair looks rough and unpolished when it's down because of the pieces sticking up at the front. Even though my son is almost a year old, this is still the case.
This product is amazing. It's like a mascara wand, but you just do a quick swipe on the poking out pieces and they stay flat and in place all day long. My hair doesn't get crunchy or look like there is any product in it, it just looks well groomed.
It's funny, I got this product a long time ago from an event and never got around to using it until I lost all of that hair and remembered that I had it. Thank goodness I started using it because my hair has some dignity now. I think it's well worth the price and though my sample was free I will definitely purchase when I run out.

This product is a gel moisturizer that is dispensed in small doses by a dropper that can be used paired with your regular moisturizer or on it's own in the summer. I have been using this under my moisturizer and my skin looks fantastic. I'm not a fan of the price tag but the product is wonderful. I've been trying a few of the SkinCeutical products that I received from the brand and like them quite a bit. -

I am a huge fan of Origins products in general but this one is absolutely perfect for my skin right now. It's been a really hot muggy summer in Toronto so far and this cream has kept my skin protected, hydrated and smooth. Normally I prefer lighter gels in the summer vs. a cream but this one is pretty much perfect. The only thing - and this goes for all Origins moisturizers - is that I would prefer this in a pump format instead of putting my fingers in the pot. Overall, fantastic product and I definitely recommend it. I received this compliments of the brand. -

In one word, Amazing. If you have sensitive skin that is prone to redness and/or your face reacts poorly to waxing, this is the product for you. I got this and the Hydrating B5 Gel, which I have been using together from the brand about 2 weeks ago and my skin has never looked better. There is a noticeable difference on the days I use this vs. when I forget to. I've tried many serums and they don't always make a difference. This one does. Lately I find that waxing is causing noticeable irritation like bumps and redness that lasts for days. I tried a drop of this on the area and it worked like a charm. No redness, no bumps - nothing.
You only need a drop or two of this on your face twice a day to see results. It's really pricey (about $60) but I'm going to say it's worth it.

The food here is so, so good. The milk shakes are perfection and really addictive - well worth paying nearly $7 for. The seared tuna burger is so tasty and unexpected - especially for a roadside cafe. The spicy chicken burger is quite good too... +

Here you will find delicious food made with healthy ingredients and outdoor picnic tables to enjoy your meal. Highly recommended if you are in the area. They have other locations as well.

The food is delicious, service is warm and it's a casual but stylish environment. The flat bread pizza was really good and the strawberry rhubarb crumble was ridiculous. I would go back! -

This book has great financial advice for pretty much your entire life. It's cheeky and fun to read - especially considering the subject matter, which can be a bit dry. I actually think they could have split this up into a series of several books, but being the financial wizards the authors Laura McDonald and Susan Misner are, they saved us the extra cash by making it all in one book. There is a lot of stuff I knew, but a lot I didn't. I really wish I would have had a resource like this years ago when I was just starting out. A lot of mistakes could have been avoided and money could have been made.
It's likely not something you will read in one sitting, but I like that you can pick and choose which sections to read. Skip over some stuff and come back to it later. I will definitely keep this as a resource for years to come.
I got this compliments of the authors. Did I mention they are Canadian?
