I love everything about this sunscreen except the price. $39 for 50 ml. I'm on the fence about that though, because it may be worth it. This is for your face. It is water and sweat resistant, paraben free, chemical-filter free and contains a universal tint. So when it comes out, it looks like a foundation but is much more sheer. Think of this like the sunscreen version of a BB cream. It immediately blends into your skin without a trace of greasy residue. Skin looks more even but is protected with SPF 50.
I love this product so much because I find it hard to use sunscreen without breaking out. My skin is uber sensitive, even to face creams with SPF. This is everything I've wanted in that category and I especially love that it's tinted.
One thing to keep in mind is that even if your face cream has SPF in it, you still need to reapply every two hours to get proper coverage.

The food, service, ambiance are all great here. I had the mushroom risotto, which was perfection. I also liked the cocktail list, which had a fun selection of drinks infused with herbs. I will warn you that the martini with cucumbers in it isn't as innocent as it sounds. I couldn't even finish one. It can get fairly loud in here as it is in a party district but the vibe is great. Love it and will be back! -

The Dutch is open for more than brunch but brunch was what I had here this weekend with my friends. The service was superb, the food delicious and overall I'd say we loved everything about it. It's a good idea to come early or make a reservation. We were here when the doors opened and got a table but it instantly filled up. Highly recommended! -

This is the perfect spot to come for brunch. The food is fantastic. The menu includes delectable items like lemon ricotta flapjacks with black berries, scrambled egg filled pop-overs and 3 kinds of French toast, including one that is encrusted with almonds. Though I was here with my girlfriends, I was happy to see it is very baby friendly. The average brunch item is around $15. I will absolutely be back! -

I've tried these as well. The scents are fun and I love the colours. There are some exfoliating beads in them as well. Though it's a cheerful presence in my shower I find the scent a bit too strong and in general I prefer cream washes since I have very dry skin. But I think it's a great product for someone else! -

After scouring many fabric stores on Queen West looking for cool, modern cotton prints I am so glad I finally went to Designer Fabrics. Not only do they have a massive selection, there are so many amazing styles I had a hard time deciding what to get. Staff is exceptionally helpful and they also have a large sale section with great steals. Now I just need to learn to sew! -

This store is totally my style. I love almost everything in it. So it is dangerous for me to shop here. If you love modern styles, lots of colour and IKEA is too cheap but you're not into $10,000 couches either, this store is for you. Everything is gorgeous, colourful and inspiring. It's a bit on the pricier side, but still within an affordable range. -

If you really like Milk and Cookies you've probably heard this is a menu item for dessert. It's one of many unexpected surprises in a restaurant that looks like a keg type concept but is far from it. The extensive wine list is brought to your table on an iPad and if the descriptions aren't enough to help you decide, they'll send over the Sommelier. Menu options include things like ribs, seared tuna salad, roast chicken and wild mushroom gnocchi. I had the seared tuna salad, which was delicious. But before the entrees arrived, we were served fresh from the oven, topped with hot butter and salt brioche from Ace Bakery. That in and of itself is a reason to check this restaurant out. It was so good we even got a loaf to go. I know. Shameful.
The service was impeccable. We were there on a Monday, which wasn't very busy but our service was very good.
Ambiance can vary a bit, depending where you sit. They have a large mirror over the kitchen prep area, which can be a bit distracting. Still, it has a nice dark cozy vibe. It would be better if they had candles on the tables. There is also a patio with a view of the CN Tower.
You really should check out the washroom. They aren't toilets, they are heated seat 'washlets'. Yes, it's what you think.

I'm eating this right now so pardon my drool. This is creamy milk chocolate with the smooth taste of cappuccino plus a hint of crunch. I'm over the moon about it. In fact I like it so much that I also don't like it because it's impossible to only eat a few squares at a time. The bar is 95g and I've been slowly eating it over 3 days. Because it's rich, in theory 1-2 squares should be enough at a time but this is really hard to do. It takes a lot of self control. The chocolate is fair trade too so I love absolutely everything about it. -

This is just adorable. I really enjoyed it. I haven't read the book so can't comment on how it compares, but the story is beautiful. A father of two loses his wife and decides to move the family to a new house that happens to also be a zoo. It's based on a true story. It's not a comedy but there are some laughs. Overall really enjoyable! -
