These are so great. I highly recommend every new mom get one for their baby. We got this as a gift when my son was 4 months old and he was absolutely enthralled with it. When babies are 3-4 months old they want the stimulation and get bored lying on their backs. With this, there is a lot of colour and textures for them to play with. My son was literally squealing with delight the first few times we put him in this. It was a total lifesaver for being able to do something as basic as load the dishwasher or answer a few emails without him wanting me to pick him up. There is a fairly short window for use though so I'd recommend having this to start because by the time they are sitting on their own they bore more easily. -

This is a great tub! My son loves it. I like the removable support piece which made it possible for him to sit before he was able to on his own. He likes to splash and move around a lot so it also keeps him from slipping. It's also very easy to clean. Some tubs have these mesh inserts you can put in, which are great for newborns and we were using one of those initially but they get gross pretty fast from soap and water residue - even with regular cleaning. I find this tub easier to keep clean. Thumbs up! -

This cute wax bar opened their first store February 2012 and I just tried it today. They offer every imaginable wax service in a trendy, tidy space. You can book services as you need them or get monthly memberships to get perks and price breaks. I tried the sexy bikini, which was expertly (and virtuously painlessly) done by Tasha.
I love the space and the concept. I was also impressed to meet the hip young Chicks behind the brand, Jessica and Florence. The savvy friends brought the wax bar concept to Canada after seeing similar stores in Europe.
Prices are more reasonable than you'd find in a spa but slightly more than the cheapie places that lack ambience.
I look forward to seeing more locations of this and highly recommend you check them out!

This can be used for anything from diaper rash treatment, to treating dry skin spots such as eczema, or using as a scalp treatment. I used this a lot in the winter and I recently got a tub for free from Live Clean. I also like to use this when my lips are dry in a pinch. Obviously if you do that, I recommend using a separate tub for baby bottom.

This is going to sound like a strange review because I recommend this but I don't. My baby got hives from this. He also got hives from Burts Bees baby wash and my pediatrician said a lot of the babies she sees get that from products that have too many plant based ingredients in them. My baby does not get hives from Aveeno baby wash. He does have sensitive skin so this could be great for other babies who don't. I like using this on myself. It smells great and makes my skin really soft. I received this compliments of Live Clean. -

It is expensive but you only need to use a little bit of it. The conditioner is quite thick and goes a long way. The scent is subtle and I really like it. This is sulfate free and can be used on colour treated hair. I can't really comment on the straightening aspects of this because I already have straight hair but it does feel more hydrated and less frizzy. Love it! -
