My sister and I both love this concealer. I received a freebie from the brand, but my sister loved it so much when she came to visit, I bought one for her. It's a brush applicator concealer that you click to dispense the product. It is designed to cover everything from under eye bags to imperfections. The coverage is light to medium so it isn't cakey but you can hide what you need to. I especially like using it under my eyes since most concealers I put there tend to highlight my fine lines, but this one doesn't. It makes me look less tired and the eye area brighter.
Though it's pricy at $40 I've had mine for months now and used it quite a bit. I would repurchase this one forsure.

I didn't think there would be much difference from one kind of baby wipe to the next, but there really is. I've tried 4 different kinds of wipes, all for sensitive skin from all natural products to Pampers and Huggies and these are my favourite. Here's why:
* They don't clump together when you pull them out. You get one sheet at a time. Most of the others I tried clumped together, which is a waste.
* They are thicker and have better grip on them so it's easier to get them, um, poopy bits off that can sometimes get a little... stuck to their little bums.
I don't know how they compare in terms of the sensitivity factor. When my baby learns to talk, I'll ask him.
After buying the initial container, I've been purchasing the refills, which come in one large bag rather than several smaller packages. I prefer that. Less wasted packaging.

These are the best bottles and nipples I've found for feeding my baby. Because my boy has the most ferocious appetite, I've had to supplement with formula. We've tried many different bottles and found that the formula comes out too fast, causing him to choke or spit up aggressively. Keep in mind these all say they are slow flow nipples for newborns. The Playtex VentAire slow flow nipples are the only ones that work for him. Also the bottles themselves are designed to reduce gas and I find them quite effective at that compared to others. We have paid $20 for fancy Medela nipples (does not include bottle), that didn't work for him at all. These are about $6-$7 each and include the bottle.
You can reuse the bottles as he gets older by using the fast flow nipples, which you can purchase separately.
Overall great product.

I like this stroller. There are some things I'd want to change about it but overall, it's a good quality product. The things I'd like to see improved are:
* It's a bit difficult to close. Even with practice I still struggle sometimes.
* The frame is fairly heavy. I find it hard to load into the trunk. Speaking of that, it takes up the entire trunk but I don't think it's any bigger than most strollers.
* I wish they made their own carseat. I bought a Peg Perego one and it's a heavy beast.
What I really like about it:
* Lots of storage underneath. I can load up my fruits and veggies from the market with no problems.
* It's good-looking. Yes, that matters.
* The wheels are large and rubber.
* Very solid construction
Overall I am happy with it.

Since having my baby I've tried several different diapers on him and these are the ones that work the best. My son has mastered the art of peeing out of his diaper, sometimes soaking me or himself without really getting the diaper wet. He can pee out the back, up the front and down the side. With these diapers we have had far fewer instances of this. When he was wearing Pampers it happened all the time. I also find these diapers softer than other ones, which I think is more comfortable for his delicate skin. The only thing I don't like about these diapers is that they don't have a PH strip like Pampers to show if the diaper is wet or not. -

Don't read this book in a public place such as a cafe or you will be the weirdo in the corner laughing out loud by yourself.
I bought this for some "Me Time" before baby arrives and I haven't been able to put it down. Before I started reading Bossypants, my Me Time consisted of polishing all of the floors in my house - and then redoing them, baking cookies with accidentally too much butter that smoked out my new oven, and interfering in business from my home office because who doesn't want to hear from their boss while she's on mat leave?
But then I realized this is really my only opportunity to be selfish and lazy for the foreseeable future and I should try to enjoy it. I read through Bossypants in 2 days and have never laughed so hard. It is the funniest book I have ever read. Fey has such a great self-deprecating humour. There are stories about how she started 30 Rock, her Sarah Palin skits for SNL, how she started her career, what it's like to be a working Mom and what life was like for her growing up. It is all spectacularly funny. I especially enjoyed the part where she responds to snarky comments made about her in different online forums such as, "Tina Fey is an ugly, pear-shaped, overrated troll." I won't tell you what she says but it's hysterical.
I don't know if she intends to write any more books but I really hope she does. Highly recommended.

This is a new line that launched in Sephora stores and The Shopping Channel in Canada. I got my sample from attending the press event. It's been extremely popular in the European market since it launched. I've written about the science behind it in my review of the Regenerative Anti-Aging Moisturizer here:
http://www.chickadvisor.com/item/algenist-regenerative-anti-aging-moisturizer/
What you need to know about this eye cream is that it works. After using it for about 2 weeks I can honestly say I notice a difference in the fine lines around my eyes. This is actually designed for someone 40 , so I'm not quite the right demographic for it, but if it makes the lines around my eyes less noticeable I don't care!
The key ingredient in this product is Alguronic Acid, which has been found to be more effective as an anti-aging ingredient than popular anti-aging ingredients hyaluronic acid, retinol and vitamins C and E.
Sometimes eye creams will cause little white bumps to appear around my eye area if they are too thick. This hasn't happened with this product. I just look younger. It's pricey but I'm going to say it's worth it!

This is a really interesting product line that I recently attended the launch for at Sephora. It's designed to create dramatic visible anti-aging results within 10 days, thanks to the use of Alguronic Acid, which is a skin protecting compound.
Alguronic Acid has not been used in skincare before. The company that created Algenist is actually a biotech company that was investigating microalgae as a source of renewable energy. They discovered and trademarked Alguronic Acid after realizing the benefits for skincare. What they discovered is that algae have to protect themselves from the same environmental hazards that we do, so it made sense to try using it for skincare. It's not just as simple as adding a certain type of algae to the formula. It's a really complex 5 phase proprietary extraction and purification process that allows for the isolation and intensive scientific testing of the complex algal polysaccharide, now trademarked Alguronic Acid.
There is a lot of science behind these products but I'll give you the quick and dirty. The main line consists of an anti-aging moisturizer, eye cream and serum that are designed to give you noticeable anti-aging results within 10 days of use. When applied to skin cells, Alguronic Acid increases skin cell renewal and regeneration by 51-55%. It also increases skin's elastin production by up to 32%. When we're younger, our skin is naturally doing this at a faster rate. As we age, this process slows down.
The product is also designed to decrease melanin formation (that causes dark spots and pigmentation) by up to 26%, which is part of the reason I was interested since I have lots of dark spots on my face.
This line is actually targeted to older women, so I'm not really the ideal tester for it but my skin seems to like it. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and my skin looks clear and healthy. I haven't had any adverse reactions to it despite having sensitive skin. I do have some lines around my eyes and between my eyebrows. I have noticed a difference with the eye cream (which I'll review separately), but the lines on my forehead look more or less the same as they did when I started. As I said, this is really designed for an older user with deeper wrinkles where results can be more dramatic. I plan to get my Mom to test this out on her next visit. As for myself, I'll continue using it and update if I notice anything else.

I saw this over the weekend and I loved it. Though I've seen all of the movies I haven't read the books so I didn't know what was going to happen. I went in vowing not to cry but during a scene involving Snape (I won't give any details), I was a blubbering mess. Every part of the film was superbly done - with the exception of one lame unconvincing kiss between Potter and Ginny Weasley.
Overall, Potter fans will not be disappointed. Bring your Kleenex!

I love these blushes. I have the shade melon and it's perfect for my pale skin tone. The blush blends easily with your fingers and has great staying power. In the summer I prefer cream blushes to powders for a more natural flush. They also seem to handle the hot sticky weather better. I received mine compliments of Joe Fresh PR. -
