I am so excited to add this review. This place used to be just a hair salon, under a different owner. But recently it was bought by a woman named Sarah who used to work at Queens Quay Hair Design and Esthetic. Sarah was my go to when I lived downtown. She is absolutely wonderful and has an incredible story of how she came to Canada by herself with her 5 (five!) kids.
She does an amazing job at waxing, threading and I hear her facials are great though I have not tried them yet. I'm so happy she had opened her own place. Sarah is incredibly talented, warm and kind. You will love her.

This product really disappointed me. My husband was grocery shopping with my daughter and she was hungry so he gave this to her while they shopped. He didn't have a chance to read the ingredients. When he got home and I saw it I tossed the whole box in the garbage. People assume that gluten-free products will be healthier considering they are designed for people whose intestines have been ravaged by wheat allergies. But this product is loaded with garbage.
I appreciate the honesty in the brand name "All But Gluten". It really is all of he bad things in food you want to avoid... except for gluten.

Here's the thing about natural deodorant: if you are a sweater (which I am) you will need to reapply throughout the day. I've just started using this one in the lavender scent and I love it. It does nothing for moisture but it ensures I still smell nice by the end of the day, which I deeply appreciate. I find in general that natural deodorants that are solid (like LaVanilla) help keep you dry more effectively and that roll-one or spray-ons are more for scent and helping you to feel fresh.
I think for $8 it is absolutely worth trying. My usual natural deos cost a lot more than this. I got mine free but it is something I would purchase myself. Love that it's made here in Canada and is 100% natural.

Love everything about this body lotion. 100% natural, delicate spa-like scent and deeply moisturizing. I have the driest skin of anyone I know (besides my mom). Every winter I get dry flaky legs like you wouldn't believe. I've been using this every day since I got it as part of one of Pure + Simple's skincare packages and my legs look just as hydrated as they do in the summer. It's definitely an investment over a drugstore body lotion but your skin is your largest organ so it is worth paying a bit extra.
I also like putting this on before bed as the scent is relaxing. I got this for free but I plan to replenish it when it runs out.

This product is natural and made locally here in Canada. Love everything about it. I got my sample free from the brand but I would purchase it myself.

I just got this in the shade Orchid (stunning colour!) from the brand. Here's what I love about it:

What I'm less wild on is the shape of the lipstick. It's a bit wide for my mouth so I found the application slightly more challenging. I also don't care for "taste" in lipstick. I'd prefer it taste like nothing at all.
Aside from that I love, love love this colour. It's the perfect shade I've been hunting for.

I've tried a few of the Pure + Simple lip balms and this one is my favourite. Beautiful orange cinnamon scent that smells exactly like the raw ingredients but without the taste. I prefer my lip balm not to taste like anything. I find this very hydrating and long lasting. Another important thing to note is that my lips don't feel dry without it after. You know that feeling where your lips are addicted? I don't like that. This really is the perfect natural lip balm. Totally natural, made by a Canadian company. LOVE -
