I bought this in a 2-pack at Walmart for $6.97. I had high hopes, because I had never used a clear mascara before and I was eager to try. However, the effects were pretty disappointing. It barely did anything to my lashes, and it had an unpleasant sticky effect. I didn't want to put it in my brows after feeling the stickiness on my lashes, but I did anyway and the feeling as as expected. I wouldn't recommend this product. -

I found this mascara in a local Dollarama for three or four dollars, which is a pretty big steal! The tube is pretty, and the brush is slightly curved, which makes for a perfect application. It's a bit clumpy, but that can be easily fixed with a separate spoolie. It adds volume as well as curve, which are two things I look for in a mascara, so I'd recommend this product as a cheap, effective one. -
I bought this llip gloss in a kind of plum shade. I love how it looks on my lips - you can see the color, but it has that beautiful glossy effect that you look for in a gloss. It smells fantastic and the tube design is super cute!

This lip oil came in a set of of four, making the price of around eight dollars pretty cheap. My first impression was that the packaging and look of the tubes are super cute, and they smelled nice upon opening them. However, when you put them on your lips, they stop hydrating almost instantly. I would not recommend this product as an effective lip oil. -

This product came in a set of four, with four different shades. It's amazingly soft and feels so nice on the lips - the pigment is definitely visible, and the shade options are very pretty. However, my main problem is with how long it lasts. It wears off very fast - even just absentmindedly licking my lips or taking a sip of water instantly wipes it off. Cute packaging, cute colors, and amazing feel, but just doesn't last long enough for me to buy it again. -

The e.l.f. putty blush has been a game-changer for me. First off, it's most definitely affordable, at $7.97 CAD.
I have always avoided blush, but I recently decided to purchase this product in multiple shades. It has just the right amount of pigment - I just need to lightly press my finger into the putty a few time to achieve a nice, soft, perfect amount of color. The consistency is very pleasant, and feels creamy and buttery on your skin. I would definitely recommend this product, especially if it's your first time using blush, or if you're a beginner in the realms of makeup.
