Drunk Elephants TLC Sakuri Baby Facial is AMAZING! It feels like you're at the spa while you have the mask on, and you look like you just left the spa after you take it off! When I first purchased DE's Baby Facial, i bought a trial size from Sephora for $28, and it was actually 2 products: the Baby Facial mask itself, as well as DE's Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil. The facial mask is made up of AHAs and BHAs to chemically resurface skin, as well as chickpea flour to physically exfoliate it. The mask is left on for 20 minutes, then rinsed off, and followed immediately by the Marula oil, to replenish lost moisture and soothe skin. I LOVED the results, and had been planning on purchasing the full size. However, I changed my mind when I found out that not only does the full sized Drunk Elephant Sukari Baby Facial cost $80, it doesn't even include the Marula oil that came with the travel size! And to buy the Marula oil separately is an additional $40, making the total cost for the pair $120. I would love to repurchase, but I won't be doing so unless it goes on sale, which I have yet to see happen even once in the years since it came out, but I'll keep hoping! -

Before I discovered Too Faced Lip Injection, I had given up on lip plumping glosses that never did what they claimed they would. Every lip plumping gloss I had tried before Lip Injection just would sting or burn my lips, but wouldn't actually plump them at all. I don't remember why I even decided to try Lip Injection, because I had given up on trying to find a gloss that would actually have a plumping effect years earlier, but I'm so glad I did try it! It has that same tingling sensation that all plumping glosses do, but this one is just a really mild tingle, not painful like some of them can be. It starts to have noticeable effects about 5-10 minutes after application, and the effects continue to increase for awhile. It's not a huge difference, but I don't think its possible to achieve a huge difference with just lip gloss, no matter how good it is, but it did make enough of a difference that my lips were noticably plumper. It also claims to increase the volume of your lips long-term, but I've never been sure if that was true, or how to even tell if it was. I still stick to the original version, which is clear, but which gives my lips a nice flushed look. They recently came out with a few different colored varieties, but I havent tried them. Since discovering Lip Injection, I have found one other brand whose lip plumping glosses actually have an effect, and that's Buxom, but I still prefer Too Faced, and feel like its more effective. Too Faced Lip Injection comes in Original, Extreme, and Extra Strength, as well as the tinted versions, and they come in travel size or full size. I HIGHLY recommend!! -

I discovered Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C Bright & Plump Moisturizer a few years ago, when I was looking for a more affordable alternative to Skinceuticals C E Ferulic Serum. I had received a sample of the serum, and loved it so much I immediately went online to purchase it, until I realized it cost $150 and I couldn't afford that. I really wanted to find something similar though, so I did a little research on the ingredients of the Skinceuticals serum. I found out that some of the key factors that make the serum so great, are the combination of Vitamins C and E and Ferulic Acid, the percentage of each ingredient in relation to each other (15% Vitamin C, 1% Vitamin E, and 0.5% Ferulic Acid), and the specific form of Vitamin C (L-ascorbic). I couldn't find any other product containing that specific formulation, but Peter Thomas Roth's moisturizer comes pretty close, and is "only" about $68. It contains all 3 ingredients, but has 10% Vitamin C, 3% Vitamin E, and 2% Ferulic Acid. It also contains the THD Ascorbate form of Vitamin C, not L-ascorbic. I have been super happy with the results though! I use it daily, as the last or 2nd to last step in my nighttime skincare routine. It's a little heavy for daytime use, except during winter. It has immediate and long-lasting benefits. It brightens my skin, evens my skin tone, moisturizes, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and plumps my skin. I always look like I slept 8 hours if I used this the night before! I highly recommend! -

I received a sample of Kiehls Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate a few years ago, and I have been hooked ever since! I am obsessed with this concentrate for a few reasons. The most amazing benefit is how it makes my fine lines and wrinkles COMPLETELY disappear immediately after applying, instead of just reducing them! It has noticeable long-term effects too, especially the wrinkle reducing effects. I also love the way my skin feels after applying the product, it is SO soft, and feels like velvet. The only thing I dislike about this product is its price. It costs around $70 for the full-size, which is 1.7 fl oz. A little goes a long way, but that is still a little pricey for me, and it's almost impossible to find it on sale. They do have a travel size though, which costs $22 at Ulta and Sephora, and is 0.5 fl oz. It's obviously a better deal to get the larger size, but that's often not an option for me, so I buy the travel size somewhat frequently, and the full size rarely, but whenever i am able to afford it. -

I absolutely LOVE It Cosmetics's Confidence in a Cream! It is a great cream for anti-aging, and has helped reduce my fine lines and wrinkles (even including my crows feet!), as well as even out my skin tone and lighten my dark spots. My favorite thing about this cream though, and the main reason I continue to choose it over the hundreds of other creams I have tried, is that I have finally found a cream that is super hydrating, but leaves absolutely no shine. In fact, it has almost a matte finish, which I love! I use it in the mornings as my day cream, due to the matte finish, the lasting moisture, and how well it goes under makeup. At night, I usually use a retinol cream, or sometimes other anti-aging night creams. The price is a little bit of a splurge for me, but its not too bad, and its still a great value, because it is worth every penny! Plus, It Cosmetics, Sephora, and Ulta all have really good sales on Confidence in a Cream a few times a year. -
