I picked up my netbook in December 2009 for $250 this was on sale though.
I love my netbook. Its light i can take it anywhere and it does not feel like im lugging something around all the time. Its very portable.
I have the shorter battery life, it runs for about 3 hours before it needs charging which i find suits me perfect.
The netbook is great and can do anything that my desktop or any laptop can do other than there is no cd/dvd drive so for those of us less techy people it is hard to put new programs on that arent just a download off line type of thing.
I found the keyboard hard to adjust to at first but now that i have the hang of it, its just like any other one i have typed on. Also i believe it comes in a couple of colours, i however only purchased a plain black one.
It would be perfect for someone that just likes to go online and surf the net or take to class for note taking. This netbook is great! I have and would recommend it to anyone!

A group of 6 of us on our way to a matinee theater production decided to head into Toronto a couple hours early and enjoy the beautiful weather on a Sunday afternoon. We walked up king st. in Toronto looking for a nice place to enjoy a meal and the sunshine. Gabby's has a great patio and it caught our attention right off. We sat down and from the second our waitress walked up we wanted to leave and im sorry we didnt. Apparently a group of 6 is a huge inconvenience and we were told that if we wanted to stay it would take a LONG time. She emphasized LONG time many times while we were ordering. Her mood did not improve throughout our stay and to be honest we hardly saw her.
The food was okay. I believe out of the 6 of us my meal was the only one that was exactly what the menu said. Everyone else it seemed their meals were improvised, nothing was the same from the menu explanations. The food was nothing special and certainly not anything you couldn't get at any other chain, Boston pizza, Kelsey's etc.. All other restaurants along this same strip of king st. looked like their menus may have had a better selection.
If i were to return to the area i would definetly not try this place again. Please take my advise and do not attempt it either. From what other review sites have said NO ONE has been happy with this place.

I started using this product a couple of weeks ago and so far i really like it. I have struggled with rosacea and thus have really sensitive skin. It has been very difficult to find good facial lotions and i have to say this one definetly does the job.
My skin feels really soft and smooth after using it. I tend to have really dry skin in my T zone of my face. and since using this product have had no problems. Rosacea tends to leave blotchy spots on my face but i have had less breakouts since.
I really like the fact that there is an SPF in this lotion. I am someone that usually has to constantly worry about sunscreen everyday so it is very nice to take care of that when i put my face lotion on in the moring. Its nice to save a step.
The lotion has a really nice soft sent to it that does not overpower. My skin never feels oily after use...nothins is worse than oily skin after applying cream.
And finally it comes in a nice bottle with a pump that only releases just enough for the majority if not all my face. So though it looks like a small bottle it lasts a long time. I would say this product is certainly worth the money. I would recommend it to everyone.

I found this Ice Cream really good! I tried the chocolate flavour one and really enjoyed it. The claim to being creamy was not mistaken. The ice cream was really creamy and very flavourful. Compared to full fat regular ice cream i did not find a difference at all in taste. I would never have known it was a reduced fat option. There was just as much flavour as any other ice cream out there with full fat. For this reason i would buy this ice cream over any other regualr ice cream. However this ice cream did come with a $9.50 price tag. This is pretty pricy for ice cream and i dont think i could bring myself to pay this much for a tub of ice cream. Though it was very good, i do not think it was worth that much money. I would definetly recommend Breyers smooth and creamy ice cream for its yummy taste, and the reduced calories is just an added bonus.
Not only did i try this product but i had my family try it out as well and they all throughly enjoyed it as well.

I really liked this eyeshadow. It was easy to apply and stayed on all day and after a little touch up before going out, it lasted the night as well. The colour combinations were really balanced and worked really well. I usually stick to neutral colours so i was really interested to see how i would like the colours. And I did really like them. I aslo had a couple friends try the product with me one day and they also had really good things to say about it. As for price i found it fair. I believe i found it for around $11 at shoppers and considering the results i think that it is a pretty good price and well worth it. I will recommend this to all my friends and family.

My first impressions of this product before even trying it is that it is a pretty small bottle (200ml) for the price. I believe where i picked it up (zellers) it was 7.99 which is kind of costly for a 200ml bottle of body lotion.
I have been using the product for about a week and a half and i can say i do like it. I am not in love with it and would personally not pay the currently price for it.
I have been using the botanical scent and i really like the scent. I found it to be a fairly strong scent that does last for a while and most definetly would overpower a perfume if you are a perfume wearer. However i did find the scent to be a more unisex scent as compared to most lotions out there. It is a clean fresh smell unlike the flowery ones that are out there too.
I found the lotion to work pretty good. It wasnt oily or stick, it did soak in pretty fast. Nothing is worse than trying to get dressed after putting lotion on... clothes sticking and what not.. but this lotion to not do that. As for 2x the moisture. It did moisturize.. but not any more than my usual moisturizer that i use so im not sure about the 2x the moisture that they are advertising.
All in all i liked this product but wouldnt buy it over my usual moisturizer based on price and size.
So i guess yes i would recommend this product... but it certainly did not WOW me.

I have been using the product for about a week and a half and overal was not really impressed with it. It just did not live up to all its hype. I do not have many wringles around my lip area yet, but was interested in seeing how it would work to plump my lips as i have alot of creases in my lips. It did work a little for this purpose however it was only slightly. I noticed that you really only see much of a difference if used twice a day.. and for an extended period of time. The product claims to instantly show results, and i did not find this claim to be accurate.
One pro to this product is that it is a good moisturizer, but no better than any other chapstick or lipgloss out there. So for the price i would not recommend it solely for this purpose, stick to cheaper options that
will give you the same result.
I also like the design of this product. The two sided design was great. It doesnt take up much room in a make up bag or purse if you were to carry it around. For this i think it was a great design choice.
Overal this product is an expensive lip moisturizer that unfortunetly doesnt really live up to its claim. I am glad i received this product from the review club as i would have been very dissapointed if i had of paid $20 and not received what i was paying for.

I received this product to try from a friend that received 2 from the product review club. I have been using the wild rose scented one for about 2 weeks now and love it. I was skeptical at first as i do not usually like flowery scents.. but i found this one very mild and actually really nice. It is a light/clean smell that kept any BO ordor away and did not overpower.
The product claims to help keep you feeling stubble free by minimizing the visual appearance of hair over time.. however i have not found this to be accurate thus far. I have not really noticed a difference in fell and look of stubble, this may change after a little longer use but after two weeks i have not noticed much difference. I did however find it to be a great moisturizer like most of the Dove products. My skin felt smooth and mosturized. And it works just as well as any other anti-perspirant that i have used. I will continue to use this product as it does work and suit what i would need it for, but when out shopping for deodorant if it came to a choice on which to purchase, the original Dove anti-perspirant or this new product i would go for which ever one is the cheaper option as they do basically the same thing. I would still stick with the Dove product as they always are great, i just wouldnt spend any extra (if it came to that) for this specific option in their products.

I fell in love with emily giffin's books after reading something borrowed. So naturally i was really excited to buy this book and read it when it came out. I was however sadly disapointed. Maybe i was holding some pretty high standards because all her other books were so good, but i really could not get into ths book. Emily Giffin usually grabs me in the first few pages, I kept reading and reading waiting for that moment and it really did not happen.
Dont get me wrong though it isnt a horrible book. The story line is one that im sure many people can relate to. It is an easy read that i will admit was able to distract me from everyday life for a few hours at a time. All im saying is that it was not a book that i jsut couldnt put down. If you are looking for something light that does not require a great deal of thought to get through the pages this is a good book to try.. And lets face it we do all need a book like that at some point, just to escape reality and read about someones elses..lol.
I love emily giffin's books and will continue to read any new works. This is just not one that i would read again and again.

It is sold in almost all stores that sell sun protective products and is relatively inexpensive. It works great and has never dissapointed. -
