I've been dealing with problematic skin as of late so I'm always on the hunt for new acne-fighting products to assist. I received this moisturizer for free from Chick Advisor to review and it's been a good addition to my skincare arsenal. I use this in the morning as a daytime moisturizer and it makes a good base for my makeup. Doesn't seem to have an immediate effect but works over time which is good if you also have somewhat sensitive skin. I will definitely continue to use this! -

It's summer which means sun protection is a must and I was excited to receive this product free from Chick Advisor to review. I always like to use a separate sunscreen for my face than for my body because face-specific formulations are usually better to wear under makeup and (hopefully) won't cause breakouts. This Vichy one is a great option, especially if you have oily skin. The anti-shine effect means a more matte look which is good as a base, although it doesn't keep me completely shine-free (still had to blot a bit during the day). No white cast and the formula blends in quick and easy! -

I have very fine, thin hair so finding a good shampoo that doesn't weigh it down is very important. I was impressed with this one because it didn't seem to do that and left it feeling fairly bouncy and nice. I also love the scent... coconut is definitely favourite of mine, and you can't go wrong with the brand's sustainable philosophy.

I have very fine, thin hair so using the right conditioner is important to ensure that I don't end up with greasy weighed-down locks. This one seems to do a good job at avoiding those two major concerns although I've tried conditioners that were a bit lighter and I do prefer those. I like that the scent matches the shampoo (which I like a lot) and leaves the hair smelling like a tropical vacation.

I received this as a gift in the shade Mauve-tivation, which is a gorgeous deep pinky mauve that looks great on. I'm already a huge fan of Essie's regular polish line and found the formula of this new line to be pretty similar in terms of application and opacity. However, with the Treat Love and Color line, you're also getting added benefits aimed at strengthening your nails. The only thing I would recommend is adding a top coat (even though you don't technically need one) because, at least with Mauve-tivation, I found it didn't look very shiny without (I use Essie Good To Go which is also a quick-drying top coat). -

I was sent this brush for free from Chick Advisor and was very impressed with it. The quality is very nice... the handle is long enough to hold comfortably and the bristles are soft. I'm always concerned with brushes this shape that they're not going to be dense enough to properly layer on mineral makeup but didn't find that to be the case with this brush at all. -

I almost exclusively wear mineral makeup so it's always exciting to try a new brand. I was sent this for free from Chick Advisor and off the bat I was really impressed with the packaging. There is a bowl-shaped sifter that makes it super easy to tap your brush into the powder and get off the excess without it flying everywhere; this is unlike other mineral foundations I've used where you have to tap the makeup into the lids and it gets super messy. As for the powder itself, it's a nice texture and light coverage (would be good if you're not doing a heavy makeup). I personally prefer a more matte finish whereas this one leaves skin more
radiant -- hence the name!

I almost exclusively wear mineral makeup so I can always use a good primer that will work in tandem with my foundation. I received this product for free from ChickAdvisor to test out and unfortunately, it just doesn't do it for me. I found the texture too thick and sticky, leaving patchy powder bits that were difficult to blend. It also didn't do much in the way of mattifying or oil control which are important points for me. Perhaps this might work better on someone with dry skin as opposed to my oily/combination skin. -
