A nice sweater dress is a Fall staple and this TWIK piece from Simons is a classic piece. The 3/4 sleeves show off any bracelets or watches you might be wearing and the flared skirt is very flattering. I got it in the navy which can be paired with a lot of different neutrals and layers. I will definitely be wearing this a lot with tights and boots this season! -

Batiste's classic dry shampoo now comes in a formula just for brunettes!
I have been a Batiste fan for years, going through bottles and bottles of their XXL Volume dry shampoo. However, one thing that I don't love is the white cast it would leave in my dark hair. This new formulation contains some pigment specifically aimed at banishing that white cast for good. When you spray it on, it's noticeably not as white as other dry shampoos, although the pigment isn't actually that dark either. However, when you brush it, it blends in well.
The formula is great and adds texture to my hair which I love. I also appreciate that the scent on this dry shampoo isn't too strong as some other Batiste dry shampoos I've tried have been quite overpowering.

I have very sparse brows which I typically fill in with a brow pencil. I tried this product on its own and over my brow pencil but unfortunately it did not work for me. I found that the brush actually caused too much separation did not help with the sparse look (in fact, when I used it over the brow pencil it negated the penciled-in parts). The colour worked for me though. I think this product would be much better for those who have thicker brows but need to tame them rather than those who need to actually fill in their brows.

I'm always on the lookout for the latest and greatest to keep my oily skin at bay. I usually have to blot multiple times a day no matter what mattifying product I use. This powder is great (love the multi-purpose factor in that it can be both a primer and a setting powder). The packaging can get a little messy since it's a loose powder and you do need a separate brush for application, which means it's not super easy to take on the go/throw in your purse. I found that the powder looked good when first applied (no white cast despite the powder's colour) though I did have to blot throughout the day anyway. This is common for me with most powders anyway due to my oily skin so I won't hold it against this product!

I must admit that I hate trying new mascaras because more often than not they don't work on my stick straight lashes. Unfortunately, this mascara fell into that camp. The brush was a little too large and an odd shape for my eyes and the formula caused my lashes to droop almost immediately after application. This would likely be a better product for girls with naturally curled lashes who don't have to worry about things looking sparse.

I love trying out new lip products and this GOSH Lip Lacquer was right up my alley. Housed in a cute glass bottle that's reminiscent of a nail polish bottle, the product features a doe foot applicator for precision application. You can dab on the product for a stain effect or apply more if you're looking for glossier/shinier lips. This lip lacquer is super opaque and wears comfortably on the lips without drying them out. -

Soap & Glory Heel Genius Amazing Foot Cream
