Finally posting my review of this #Dove Care by Plants deodorant I received from @chickadvisor 🌿💆🏻♀️ I’m a longtime user of Schmidt’s lavender & sage deodorant but I sacrificed using it to try this out! As with most natural deodorants, it takes your body a while to adjust, however, I feel like this one never really did. I didn’t love the smell of the stick, not how it smelled on me. It also didn’t last very long or mask body odour very well, so looks like I’ll be going back to using my Schmidt’s! -

This cream was super light on my face, didn’t have a super strong scent, and didn’t irritate at all. I have sensitive skin so I'm always concerned about that. I only wish the sample wasn't so tiny so that I could test the longer term effects!

I am a woman and I love woodsy, natural scents, so I thought this one would be a hit, but it ended up just having too much of a manly synthetic smell. Almost like what you would get with a generic deodorant brand like Old Spice or Dove. The scent was also way too overpowering. I wish it would've been more naturally scented, like with essential oils. Unfortunately this one is a pass for me. -

So I have been a dedicated user of Schmidt's deodorants for around 6 years now. My tried and true scent has always been the Lavender & Sage, and lately I'm loving the Rose & Vanilla, but I love the opportunity to try new scents! I was really excited about this one but it just didn't really do it for me. It was almost TOO scented, and mixed with my natural BO in a weird way and just wasn't as effective. -
