My skin actually feels soft to the touch with this on. My only complaint is the scent. It's too heavy of a perfume scent and would be better if it was unscented or carried a lighter more natural scent. -

While it does feel moisturizing, I don't find that it lasts as long as my other lip balms. I'm the type of person that always has lip balm on, otherwise my lips just feel too dry, so I like a good balm that lasts without having to re-apply. This one, while nice....had to reapplied too often throughout the day. -

I do a lot of cooking and meal prep for the week because I'm a bit of a health and fitness nut. I've also been slowly moving closer to using more and more natural products, rather than chemicals. I've wanted to start making the switch from plastic containers to something safer and silicone bags seem to fit the bill.
I like that the bags are reusable, unlike the zip top baggies we usually grab. Plus unlike the disposable bags, these ones are safe for the dishwasher, microwave, oven and freezer.
The bag is really thick and well made. I can tell it's going to be durable and last a long time. The bar was really hard to remove at first. I actually had to get my husband to take it off for me and it was hard to get back on too, but I was able to do that. I could also take it back off the second time. It appears to loosen up after a few times and allow for easier removal and attaching. One of the good things about it being on tight though is that it seals air out and helps the bags not leak. I filled mine up with water just to make sure (because who wants to test that out with food they just spent time making) and it didn't leak a all. I turned it every which way and not a drop came out.
While the bag is a little flimsy trying to stand on it's own with no food inside of it, as soon as it has a little weight inside it stands up perfectly. You don't even need the bar - it's safe to stand up and not tip and spill everything.
The bag also has measurements on one side, so you can keep track of how much you're putting inside. Since I meal prep and usually measure out portions, this is perfect for us. The other side of the bag has a 'max' marker, so that you don't overfill.
Overall, I'm very happy with this silicone bag. It's thick and well made, doesn't leak and it can stand on it's own. Plus it can go just about everywhere you would need it to - from freezer to oven.

I have another necklace from J. Rosee and I love it. I actually wear it all the time, so when I saw this beautiful snowflake, I knew I just had to have it. I love that their jewelry is sterling silver - not plated or alloy - at an affordable price.
The necklace comes in a lovely black jewelry box stamped with the logo. The necklace is on a velvety rectangle to display it which is also wrapped in plastic to avoid any shifting or damage to the piece. It comes with a cute laser cut gift card in case this piece is a gift, which is also a nice touch.
The necklace itself is beautiful. I was really surprised to find such a lovely sterling silver necklace for less than what it costs for cheaper looking costume jewelry. This is a very delicate looking piece which has an expensive look to it.
The pendant is a simple snowflake design with tiny cubic zirconia on each of the six points with a circular design in the center. The chain is a delicate silver strand. The quality of the piece is lovely and it would make a perfect gift for almost any woman.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with this necklace. It's simply beautiful and I love it. I will be switching it out often with my other necklace. It's a very classic and timeless piece that goes with almost anything.

My oldest daughter loves to bake. We're pretty hard on our cookie sheets though because we use them a ton for not only baked goods but for roasting veggies and other stuff. She's pretty finicky and doesn't like her cookies the least bit burnt or even browned.
The silicone baking sheets worked wonders for her. She was actually raving about them. She didn't need to use any spray oil or any other prep and her cookies came out great. They had no brown marks on the bottoms and they didn't stick at all. She could just pick up a cookie with her fingers they came off that easily. She said they are the best batch of cookies she's ever made - so that's pretty good praise.
I like that these can go in the dishwasher for easy clean up - just make sure you only put them on the top shelf. I feel much better baking with silicone than using oils or tinfoil - it seems to be a healthier route and we've been slowly graduating to more natural products.
Overall, we're very happy with the silicone baking sheet. It fit the entire cookie sheet, nothing stuck to it despite not using oil and the cookies turned out perfect. They're a great addition to our kitchen.

I'm really pale, so I struggle to find a foundation that matches my colour without looking like a mask and that I also like the feel of. I'm a redhead, which means super pale skin and freckles - which I don't really want to cover up completely - but I do want to even out my skin tone.
This foundation is my favourite that I have tried. It blends easily, it matches my skin tone and it lasts all day without getting overly greasy looking or losing much coverage. It makes a great base for all my other makeup as well. I like the little pump feature on the bottle. It makes it super easy to dispense, rather than the bottles that you have to tip and try to pour.
I didn't find an issue with the smell, like some other reviewers mentioned. The last foundation I used however had a very strong smell, which was one of the reasons I needed a change.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with this foundation. The colour is perfect, it blends like a dream, it has staying power without getting dry or greasy and it's affordable. Basically everything that I'm looking for in a foundation.

The first time I saw this seasoning was while I was in Jamaica with my family. My husband saw it right before we left the resort to head back to our cruise ship and grabbed a bottle. I'm so glad he did. The flavour is amazing and it's become a favourite.
This seasoning is made in Jamaica so it's authentic. The bottle is filled with spices which appear very thick - almost like a paste. Even though the bottle tells you how much to use, it wasn't a lot and because it's so thick, it doesn't look like it will coat and season the chicken very well. I decided to put the chicken pieces in a large ziploc bag and just mix the seasoning around as much as I could. It did seem to spread better that way, but I was still unsure if it would be enough to actually flavour all of the chicken well. I put it in the fridge overnight.
I did take it out a couple of times and mix it up. The spices seemed to be spreading and mixing better and really coating the chicken. I was pleasantly surprised. I cooked the chicken in the oven and it turned out fantastic. The entire family loved it. Each piece was seasoned well and the flavour was rich and delicious. I think next time we're going to try it on the BBQ to see how it turns out.
We were pleasantly surprised to learn that we could find this in Canada for under ten dollars. It was about half the price of what we paid in Jamaica, but you can expect that from touristy locations I guess. It's really hit or miss at the grocery store trying to find it. Our local one had it and then it disappeared. At least I know I can always get it on Amazon. It's really become one of our favourite ways to have chicken.

I sometimes have trouble sleeping, plus I tend to carry a lot of stress with me. I've been testing out various essential oils and lavender was one that I really wanted to try. I kept putting it off though because I just kept thinking of those sachets my grandmother had when I was a kid and I remember hating the smell. They seemed strong and stale.
I'm so glad I got over that and gave this oil a try. The smell is so natural and fragrant - I really enjoy it. It truly helps me to relax. I use it in a mini diffuser at night or simply put a couple of drops on a kleenex by my bed and it helps me get a more restful nights sleep. On nights when my daughter had trouble getting to sleep I've done the same for her and she's usually out within minutes.
I also like to use this in my bath before bedtime to help de-stress and relax. I use a combination of Epsom salts, baking soda and 5 or 6 drops (I have a big soaker tub) of oil in my bath. It's really a great way to end the day.
Since this is my first purchase of lavender essential oil, I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I've been very happy with it so far. I don't really see any reason to change brands next time since I really like the scent of this.

While I use it on my hands throughout the day, I only use it on my feet at night, because it is thick. I like to put it on a little heavier and just let it all absorb in. It would be too heavy, slippery and greasy to do that during the day if you were walking around in socks and shoes.
It does wonders though for my hands and especially around my cuticles which tend to be very dry. It does have a scent, but I don't find it overly strong or perfumey. I think they have an unscented version if this is an issue for you.
Overall...very happy with this moisturizer. Previously I switched between a couple of different brands depending on which one was on sale, but I just found they really weren't doing the job anymore. This does. It's worth the extra few dollars and I'll be sticking with it.

I suffer with tennis elbow/tendinitis off and on. I work out a lot lifting weights and doing strength training and if I push myself too quickly, I tend to flare up my tennis elbow. I was in search of a good brace that I could use to workout in and give me some extra support as I healed.
I find the brace runs small. It's very snug on my arm and I have to really pull it on and tug to get it off. I find it pulls on the sorest spot on my arm when I try to take it off, which counters the effects of wearing it. Also if I wear it for more than an hour or two I find it starts to really irritate the inside of my elbow. The seams are not covered inside and rub and irritate the inside of my elbow. I also can't work out when wearing this. I find it limits my range of motion too much by being too bulky in the join area and makes doing things like bicep curls, push ups, tricep dips, etc...to difficult. I'm going to have to switch to a tennis elbow strap I believe.
Besides the above issues it does give good support. The tightness is effective, although it's a bit too much. The strap is adjustable so you can get just the right area and the right pressure for yourself.
Overall, this is an okay brace, but it could be improved, even if they just fixed the seams inside to make it more comfortable.
