I ordered Lime Crime Diamond Crusher liquid lip in the colour Trip for a friend of mine for her birthday which, of course, we both tried. It is a little pricey for what it is but it does go on smooth and carries a little mystery. What looking purple on me, looked blue on her then again looked almost pink of my eleven-year-old daughter. We all felt like unicorns. It goes on well, swatched well and looked good alone or over another colour. However, it's something that I expected a little more ooompf from considering it's coming from Lime Crime. I like it, don't love it. -

I received a sample of Theorie Marula Oil Transforming Serum and wasn't sure what to expect. I have hip length, colour treated hair that is very thick and wavy/curly. It can become very dry at time, especially the ends which I have trimmed off every eight weeks or so. I have to say that when my sample bottle was gone, I went hunting for the product and eventually found it online. It's an oil that you apply the ends of your hair to moisturize and soften. I have to say that my usual skepticism was quelled by the results and I was very happy with how my hair felt and looked. -

I'm normally a Pantene or Tresemme girl, depending on which one is on sale. On my last trip out I decided to give John Frieda's Frizz Ease Dream Curls shampoo and conditioner a shot. I was pleasantly surprised. I don't think I would use it as my everyday go to for washing and conditioning my hair but I think it would definitely be what I would use before going out or days where I want to show off of my curls. My hair is hip length, thick and has fat curls/waves. This shampoo/conditioner helped immensely to keep the frizz down and the curls curling. -

I purchased Kat von D's liquid lipstick in the colour Outlaw on a whim while at Sephora. I was always a fan of hers so I decided to check it out. The price point was decent for a higher end lip and it swatched well at the store. I've been hunting for the perfect red for a long time, trying multiple brands. The amount of red lipsticks in my kit is ridiculous. However, this time I think I found it. The colour applies well, and dries quickly to a beautiful matte finish. The colour was bold and stayed that way. The only thing I can say about it is that, true to almost all matte liquid finishes, make sure to exfoliate and moisturize your lip first. I didn't do this the first time this product and it did dry out my lips with eventual flaking after a few hours of wear. The subsequent times I exfoliated and moisturized and it lasted a lot longer. I'm excited to try her other colours and I highly recommend her liquid lipsticks! -

Frozen yogurt? Yes, please! Especially when there's so many different flavours and toppings to choose from. I topped my birthday cake batter frozen yogurt with cookie dough and Reese's pieces, some strawberries to make it "healthy". My daughter went with vanilla and covered it with almost everything possible. It wasn't as expensive as I thought plus the staff was alert, friendly, helpful and quite funny. The restaurant was clean and bright, fun and interesting place to be. I highly recommend this to anyone! -
