Thanks to the PRC, I was able to test out the Vim Cream Lemon Cleanser. I've seen the Vim products but I've never tried one before this. It's now a must have in my house. Used it to clean our kitchen sink, and it was so clean afterwards. There was no film left after scrubbing, and there was a slight lemon scent that lingered but it was not overpowering.
I'll be using this to tackle our washroom next. Cleansers I've used usually leave me with a headache because the scent is so overpowering in a small closed room. I want to see if Vim could do a better job.

I got to try this product through the Product Review Club! Thanks!
This is the first time I've tried any anti-cellulite product so I have nothing to compare it to.
When I opened the box, there were no instructions inside, so I just used it once a day. I placed it around my thigh area. First impressions: I like that there's barely any scent. It's not thick, so a small dollop goes a long way. It's easy to spread and leaves no greasy feel to your skin.
Using it for three weeks, didn't really make much of a difference on my thighs. The bumps are still there, but the skin around it felt a little bit smoother. Almost the same result as using a moisturizing lotion regularly.
If it's supposed to be a long term regimen, the price would be what would keep me from following it. I think the price per bottle would be too much.

Thank you for the chance to try out this product. I also gave some of my friends a chance to try it out.
Unfortunately, it wasn't as effective as I thought it would be.
I liked the anti-feathering cream. I have been noticing the fine lines around my lips when I look in the mirror as I pursed my lips. After two weeks of using the cream as directed, I noticed that there seems to be fewer lines now.
As for the plumping serum. I don't think it worked as well as I thought it would. I didn't see any plumping but I did like it as the base for my lipstick. Again, it filled out the very fines lines, so when I put lipstick on I don't have vertical lines on my lips. But it didn't last for long though. As soon as I have to reapply, the lines are back.

Little Miss Clips, a Canadian company, is owned by the husband and wife team Erica and Darryl. They started making clips when they couldn't find any that would stay on their daughter Sophie's hair. Their special "ingredient"? A piece of Velcro on the underbelly. This makes the clips slip-proof.
They have a lot of clips to choose from and I couldn't decide on which one to review, so I asked to be surprised. I received the Brown & Pink Polka Dot Flower, Classic Ladybug and the Daisy May. I put them on my baby's hair right away to see if they'll slip from her smooth hair, they didn't. No matter how much she moved while playing they stayed put.
The clips are really affordable. Every clip is only $4.00 Canadian. Their shipping rates are great too. $1.50 for Canadian, $2.60 for US, and $3.75 for International orders, or free shipping for all orders over $20. I also like that payment is done through Paypal. I don't really like entering my credit card number when ordering something online; paying by Paypal just adds that extra security.
They also back their product 100%. If you're not totally satisfied (and I don't know how you can't be), you can return the clips for exchange or a full refund. They will reimburse you for the return shipping costs as well.

How much time do you spend everyday fixing your hair just the way you like it? Me? With blowdrying and straightening, I can spend as much as 30 minutes to an hour getting my hair the way I like it. And when you're running late first thing in the morning, what's the last thing that gets done? Right, your hair. I usually end up just tying my wet hair in a ponytail, which isn't really good.
Which is why I'm glad I found HairZing. The HairZing is a double comb hair accessory. It works with every type of hair: long, short, thin, thick, straight, curly. It is made of two metal combs, curved so it sits comfortably on your head and designed so they don't get tangled in your hair. The combs are attached with beads on a resin band. The resin band stretches really wide and contracts back into shape to hold the combs in place.
What I like about the HairZing is how easy it is to use. In just a few tries I managed to put my hair up in a peacock twist. Step by step instructions and videos are available on their website.

No matter how much we try to baby-proof our house, accidents will happen. Unless our babies are attached to us 24/7, we can't always control what they do or play with. How prepared are you for serious baby emergencies? I did take a CPR class years ago, but how do I know that I will remember what I was taught during an emergency. How do I know that when I leave my baby with my parents or sitters that they will know what to do.
This is where the baby MedBasics come in. It's made by a husband and wife team. Their background as a doctor and nurse provided the medical knowledge needed to create MedBasics.
The MedBasics is defined by two simple ideas:
Easy to find
Easy to use and understand
The MedBasics have colour-coded tabs for topics that include CPR, choking, fever, bleeding, burns and poison. Each topic contains detailed instructions and easy to follow images. It also includes a page for prevention of these emergencies. It is available in 2 varieties: Home and Travel Packs. The Home Pack can hang conveniently on a hook or a door knob. The Travel Pack is designed to attach to your stroller or diaper bag.

Annabelle's volumelash boasts 5x more volume. After just one application of the mascara, my eyelashes did look longer and thicker. I usually have to reapply a couple of times to get my lashes thick. It also stayed on my lashes the whole day. No black smudges in the corner of my eyes, no raccoon eyes either.
The application, half brush - half comb combination, did take some getting used to. But once I got the hang of it, it became easy. The best thing to do is apply with the brush, then comb to separate, then brush, then comb again.
Another con for me is when I first opened the tube, a strong chemical smell came out. I was hesitant at first to put something so chemical smelling so close to my eyes, but it went away after a while.

Herbal Essences recently released their new collection of swirled shampoos and hydrating conditioners. It's called the Hydralicious collection. This collection features three versions to address your needs: Featherweight for fine hair, Self Targeting for normal hair, and Re-Conditioning for dry/damaged hair.
Out of the three versions, I liked Self Targeting for my hair. I admit, I have no clue what the swirl technology is for, but it does look great. I have stayed away from Herbal Essences in the past because their scents are usually too strong for me. With this collection, the scents are so subtle and not overpowering.
I wash and blow-dry and straighten my hair almost everyday, and after using the shampoo and conditioner my hair still feels smooth and doesn't look dry at all. I give this Hydralicious collection a thumbs up.
