The best mexican food ever!!! One dish is enough to feed two people - they really load on the toppings! Their nachos and really fresh and light (NOT the tortilla kinds in the bag that a lot of other restaurants serve). Yes, the outside looks just as scary as the inside! The wait staff are also really super friendly, the prices are also very affordable, and their food is so good that you won't even notice that you're sitting next to a painted skeleton. -

The restaurant looks small from the entrance, but the restaurant is very large in of itself. The atmosphere is post-modern chic and the service is good. There food selection is rather limited as well. This is the first japanese restaurant that doesn't serve sushi or raw fish of any kind. Their main courses include japanese curry and soba, udon, and ramen noodles. Their curry dishes were awful - it tasted like curry made from a packet served with a bowl of rice and a chicken cutlet! Sooo bland. I ordered the yaki soba dish - and it was 'just ok'.
Some dishes stood out and tasted very good - but overall, there wasn't anything remotely special about their food (except for the dried fish flakes that looked alive on your platter) . The prices are definitely a little bit more expensive than your average japanese restaurant. I wouldn't go back. Another thing is that they pre-charge tip service on your bill. I don't know of any restaurants that do that, but I don't think that should happen because you can get crap service and still be forced to pay a standard 15%.

This makeup brush shampoo is super handy. The shampoo allows you to give your brush a deeper cleaning since the shampoo is solid and embedded within the jar. I used to clean my brushes with baby shampoo - but found it left a heavier scent after the brush dried. I like that this brush shampoo has antibacterial properties and it doesn't leave your brush smelling soapy. It's so quick and convient compared to using liquid shampoos. All you need to do is rub your brushes onto the solid bar and rinse. -

My herbivore friends brought me here to share their love of vegan meals with me. Their food is just soooo delicious!!! I'm a meat-lover and I always want to have some form of meat when eating a meal. Eating at Fresh made me forget all about meat! That's how good it was. I tried their shakes, their appetizers, their bowls, and desserts. My favourite is the Thai Style burger with the peanut sauce! I even bought their cookbook after eating once from their restaurant. I've made my own dishes, and they taste just as delicious. My carnivorous boyfriend has even been asking for seconds when I cook up meals from the Fresh Cookbook! -

I think this place is for people who are just taking the first step to trying something different other than hamburgers & french fries. -

This restaurant is located in the ILLC Building on the Ryerson Campus. After leaving the voting poll station in their building, I bought a tuna sandwich and discovered a BANDAID in my sandwich!!! The result? Vomit & more vomit and post-traumatic stress disorder with parananoia of eating ANYTHING not prepared by myself. This just really demonstrates that they do not handle their food in a sanitary manner at all! How on earth does a band-aid end up in a sandwich???I feel really sorry for all the residents in the residence who live on their meal plan!!! -
