This pencil is only $3 so it’s definitely one of the cheapest brow pencils out there. The pencil itself goes on pretty easily and does last all day. The name kind of implies to me that it will dry and keep your brows in shape but that isn’t the case and it doesn’t make them feel stiff or awkward.
The pencil itself is a bit big for my liking; I would like it to be thinner so you can get more precise. I suppose you could shape it yourself with a sharpener but that feels to me like you would be wasting a lot of it.
Like I said in the title, this isn’t the best eyebrow pencil you can buy. But at $3, it’s pretty good bang for your buck.

For an ELF product, this liquid lipstick is actually kind of expensive at $5. But for a lipstick, it’s still cheap. This liquid lipstick is so easy to apply, and the applicator wand is a great shape for it. This stuff dries almost instantly... +

This liquid lipstick is so easy to apply, and the applicator wand is a great shape for it.
This stuff dries almost instantly, and lasts for hours. If I’m talking a lot (which I do at work - I’m a tour guide) it withstands all my talking but can sometimes make my lips feel a little dry.
When applied to your lips, it doesn’t always come out the same colour as it is in the tube, but I have this lipstick in about five different shades and I love them all!

I have a pair of these flip flops that I bought around 7 years ago when they were on sale for $1 each. I bought five pairs then, and the only reason I don’t have all five now is that I’ve lost some along the way! I usually wear these flip flops... +

I usually wear these flip flops around the house during the summer when it’s too hot for socks because I don’t like walking around barefoot. They’re super comfy and durable.
I’m not sure I would wear these to the beach because they’re a little bit plain (although I’ve definitely worn them outside the house) but you can’t really complain for the price!

This is my favourite eyeliner to use! I’m not sure if it’s called “megalast” eyeliner because it’s supposed to last on your eyes all day or because the pencil itself lasts for ages - either way, it’s an appropriate name. Let’s start... +
This is my favourite eyeliner to use! I’m not sure if it’s called “megalast” eyeliner because it’s supposed to last on your eyes all day or because the pencil itself lasts for ages - either way, it’s an appropriate name.
Let’s start off with the obvious main reason why I first bought this eyeliner: it’s CHEAP. But unlike most cheap eyeliners, it’s actually a really good product. A lot of retractable eyeliners (particularly cheap ones) have a tendency to break so they don’t last as long, but this has never happened to me with this product.
I also find that it doesn’t fade during the day when I’m wearing it. It does smudge sometimes, but mainly when worn on the waterline and not on the lid itself. If it does go where it isn’t intended though, there’s a smudging tool on the end that can also be used to wipe it off.
The only thing I dislike about this product is that when it is brand new, the pencil itself is kind of sharp so it can be awkward to apply to the eyelid, sometimes feels like you’re poking yourself in the eye!

I absolutely love gel nail polish. I love how quickly it dries so you can get on with your day, I love the smooth finish it gives, and I love how much longer it lasts than regular nail polish. But I hate how difficult it is to take off - it takes forever, you need a certain type of polish remover, and - in my case anyway - it usually destroys my nails.
Enter the Born Pretty gel base coat. I decided to buy a set of gel nail polishes for myself and I bought this brand purely because it was cheap. But it is absolutely amazing!
The idea of this base coat - which I actually didn’t realize for a while because it doesn’t specify it on the bottle - is that it can be easily peeled off rather than having to soak your nails in acetone to remove it. You simply apply some cuticle oil to the bed of the gel, and it comes off smoothly without taking your nail with it.
The only issue with this base coat is that it does tend to start peeling off on its own after about a week. This isn’t a problem for me at all because I usually like to change up my nail colour every week, but if you wanted to keep the same nail colour for a couple of weeks it might not last that long.
I love this gel polish and have recommended it to so many people! Even if you’re not sure it would work for you, it’s so cheap that it can’t hurt to give it a try!
