I received this through ChickAdvisor, and honestly wasn't expecting much. I'm in my late 20's and have been noticing some slight crinkling around my eyes, which doesn't really bother me a whole lot. My major concerns are being pre-emptive about lines around my mouth and on my forehead. OVerall, I'm not really a huge fan of serums, however this didn't make me feel sticky or slimy like most do, and adding a layer of moisturizer on top wasn't as smothering as with most. I haven't noticed much improvement in my skin, but I haven't noticed any negative effects either. I'll continue to use this product, but I likely won't repurchase. -

I received this through ChickAdvisor, and was really excited to try, as I have really dry skin in the winter/spring. After the first use, I wasn't overly impressed with either how it moisturised or the slime it left in my tub. I tried it a few more times to see if it wasn't doing much because my legs were so dry, but I found the product applied in an almost patchy way, leaving parts of me greasy feeling, and not doing much for the dry parts. I think this is a really great product for most people, and it smells amazing, but sadly it just wasn't for me. -

I was really excited to try the Dream Blender with the Dream Velvet foundation I received, but was actually a little disappointed with it. The packaging says to use it either dry or damp, and the first time, I used it dry. It works extremely well for a drugstore sponge, however it's a little hard to blend evenly using the dry sponge. That said I also used it for contouring with a powder and it worked extremely well in that area. For my second try, I decided to go with their "pro tip" and use the sponge wet. As I'd already used it once, I cleaned it using a solid sponge cleanser. Here's where I began to doubt the product. First, it's extremely awkward to wash - the sponge does not absorb water on it's own, and needs to be repeatedly squeezed to even absorb enough to wash. Next I realized that the rounded bit actually has a sponge stem that extends into the handle, so you can only wash with the point down to avoid runoff into the handle. The stem also isn't easily reached, washed, or dried, so I can see this ending up with a damp smell at least, mold at worst. Overall, I'm really happy with the way it blends powder products, and will use it for contouring and the like, however as a foundation sponge, I don't think it's something I'll reach for. -

I've been using the Maybelline Fit Me! for years, and switched to the Matte + Poreless version about a year ago, so I was extremely excited when I was chosen for this campaign. I was a little wary when I received my foundation, mostly because the packaging is exactly what you would expect for a nice thick hand cream. The consistency was also unexpected, closer to a thick BB cream than a foundation. I applied it with the included sponge and was completely blown away by how much I liked it! It applies smoothly, is surprisingly full coverage, and doesn't feel like heavy foundation. It blends like a dream, and sets really quickly without any powder. Matte without looking flat, it stayed for hours and didn't darken or cake. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this and am considering switching from the Fit Me once I run out! -
I will never, ever stop using this product. It's the perfect scrub for any time of year, and does what it says without the awful bits of plastic in most exfoliators/scrubs.

I purchased this on a bit of a whim, after hearing it was a good dupe for the NARS orgasm/laguna duo. I don't find the colours as pigmented as I'd like, but for the price it was totally worth it. I'm pretty pale, and the bronzer works really well for contouring or for a little extra colour in the summer, and the blush is very pretty, even with having a bit too much glitter for my liking. -

Rimmel is very likely one of my all-time favourite brands, but somehow they end up overshadowed by the Sephora-bought items in my collection. I recently purchased this lovely little fiver on sale at the drugstore and immediately fell in love. The colours are probably perfect on anyone, and it can very easily go from day to night looks with the single set. The only (very slight) downside I've found is that the darkest shade requires a bit less pigmented than I'd hoped, but a little extra blending and it's totally worth it. -

I received this lip balm in a sample bag, and was super excited about trying it. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed after a couple uses. It goes on smooth and isn't sticky or gross, however it's much more a gloss than a balm, and after using it in place of my other balms for a week, I'm finding no difference between this and bare lips, aside from the lovely smell. -
