I will be the first to admit that I prefer (unsalted) butter for most applications that require solid fats. However, I occasionally use margarine for applications like cookie doughs, which I usually bake on a whim (eg to have more "justification" to have the oven on). The sticks are definitely convenient (easily measured, easily blended into ingredients).
The one thing that makes me NOT want to buy this product is the palm/palm kernel oil. While I understand this is a fat of choice for manufactures, and that it is a fat that solidifies at room temperature (lessening the need for hydrolization - which makes oils into trans-fats), I still try very hard to avoid products containing it for various reasons.
As I was getting this for free, I didn't pay close attention to the price, but know that it was somewhat high compared to other similar products, including butter.

I am really not the best judge for the effectiveness of a primer as it is not something I would tend to use. The reason being is that I use other products on my face that inherently have the same binding properties, so it would be an expensive redundancy. However, for the purposes of this review, I did try it out and it felt silky and light.

Brand Response:
Thank you for your feedback. Each brush is ergonimically designed for best control and made of ultra-soft high-quality synthetic fibres, as Nude by Nature is proudly cruelty-free. The brush is handcrafted, so may lose a few bristles when initially used but this should not continue. Okay, so this product was used for about a year and a half before something went terribly wrong. All of a sudden, the clear panel over the LCD (clock/timer display) filled up with condensation and was unreadable. A few days after that, the circuit board failed and my Grind and Brew stopped working altogether.
Okay, stuff happens and I can deal with it, but their customer/tech support leaves a lot to be desired. In the end my only option was long drive to a certified repair site. I was offered a supposed newer model as a replacement, at a modest fee. It does the job but does not have many of the features of my original machine. I will make my decision about future purchases based on the longevity of the replacement.
To sum it up, sometimes simpler is better. Yes, it's nice to have freshly ground coffee, and this is quite convenient (even though it can be a bit fiddly to clean - maybe a separate grinder is better). Just be careful with it and hope you never have to deal with their customer service/tech support.
PS. 9 months after the blade recall (certain models of food processors), I have yet to receive my replacement blade. American customers got theirs by February (as reported by a US friend).

If you are a high-performance athlete or someone prone to hypo-glycemia, then maybe this is for you. I find these packed with too much sugar and fat to the point that it is a glorified candy bar, with or without any chocolate. I can't recommend this as a healthy food or nutritional snack (any nutritional value is offset by the aforementioned high sugar and fat). Even if considering as a snack, I just didn't find them to be particularly good tasting. -

I know my titled sounded ungrateful, but I will say that I did get good use out it. However, I have a stick blender that would do everything this blender would, and more. Sure the travel cup is a nice touch, but the gears and such are made of plastic and, I dare say, the the motor is not that strong. It does a fair job with soft foods and liquids (like when using bananas and berries in a smoothie) but I never dared to use any ice, not wanting to risk breaking the unit (though, by no means is Hamilton Beach trying to compare this product to, say, a Vitamix or Blentek). Hamilton Beach has a long history and generally produces some decent items, but had I not won this, I never would have considered buying one. -

I have small teeth that are tight together, making flossing a bit difficult in areas. These picks help me get into difficult areas, as well as gently massage my gums while doing so. A little more expensive than other products, but you can get a decent deal at Costco. Regardless, it is cheaper than additional dentist visits. -

I can't say I hold any loyalty for any purveyor of coffee and such, and I have never understood the cult of Tim. They do make a decent cup of coffee (I even had my first of their Iced Lattes today). I don't find anything outstanding about it, but I will gladly drink a cup of their coffee when the mood strikes. I will say, however, that I did enjoy the aforementioned Iced Latter and was pleasantly surprised by it. -

Years ago this was a big treat for me. However, as time went on I know that my tastes have changed as well as my nutritional focus. Don't get me wrong, I will still go through a box for Ferrero Rochers, if given as a gift, but I will do so with with more restraints. I love hazelnuts, chocolate and wafers. However, I now prefer really dark chocolate, not so much sugar, and have been put off of Nutella (which seems to be what the centre is comprised of). -
