I used to live just outside of the small town of Fenelon Falls and Sobey's is the only grocery store in this tourist town. In the winter months their prices are in line with other fellow Sobeys stores, but come summer, their prices almost double on the day to day items. Fenelon Falls is located in the heart of the Kawartha's and surrounded by Cottages, Parks and Lakes, it's a huge tourist area and Sobeys being the only grocery store raises their prices forcing the local residents and tourists to pay the high prices.
Besides price gouging, I have never had any issues with the store itself. The produce is always fresh and the meat is of great quality. Staff are friendly, polite, knowledgeable and are visible throughout the store, on long weekends extra staff are brought in and the lines move quickly, the store hours change and they are open until Midnight.

I have shopped at the Peterborough location and most recently the Whitby location as we live in Durham now. The Whitby store is more of a super-store and is more professionally set up. I always find their produce to be fresh, their meet to be fresh and delicious and their prices are decent. They often have specials on their meat which can't be beat by other stores. Some items they sell are hit and miss, if you buy it this week, it doesn't mean they will have it next week. My favorite part is the fresh made lunch/salad bar, there is a large assortment of fresh made salads including pasta salad, they have a few different trays of meat and lunch dishes such as meat loaf, lazagna, and casseroles. You pay by weight for these items and when we go we always get a couple of containers and fix ourselves up some lunch to take home. My family loves Farm Boy and we will continue to shop here. -

I am recently the owner off The Classic Happy Planner. I wanted to jazz it up and while in Micheal's they have an entire isle devoted to this planner and it's accessories. There was a few of the Reflections Sticker books, I bought the Holiday pack, but they had sports, teachers and general ones. I paid around $5-$6 for the pack which has a total of 336 stickers. This book has a huge variety of fun special occasions stickers and bigger stickers for specific holidays such as Easter, Halloween, Labor Day, Christmas ect. It also contains special word stickers such as Holiday, Celebrate, Long weekend, Family, Party etc and the front few pages have count down stickers. This book is well worth the money, the stickers are super easy to peel off and once applied they do not move, but if you need to move one, with some care and a bit of pull you are able to remove it without it pulling or tearing the paper. I recommend these flip sticker books, especially if your like me and need to have some fun with your planner or calendar. -

I am a fan of Micheal's and stop in and browse the one in Durham at least once a month. I love crafting from making my own jewellery, painting, seasonal crafts and crocheting. I find the prices to be reasonable and they often have special discounts that are sent by email and when I get to the check out all I do I show them the coupon on my phone. They also have great tips on their website on DIY and sometimes hold special workshops aimed at certain crafts. I find their staff pleasant but sometimes hard to find, I have wandered the store for a good 15 minutes in search of a staff member only to give up and go to the checkout. My only complaints are one, the website is sometimes hard to navigate and search for specific items, the search function often comes up 'item not found' even when I know they carry the item I am looking for, I just wanted to know the price. My last complaint is that you can't shop online, I find it ridiculous that in this day and age they do not offer online shopping and delivery. I get that they want to get you in the store, but sometimes I can't be bothered and just want my items delivered to my home. Other than those two pet peeves, I love Micheal's - their store continues to inspire my creative side. -

I recently bought a Happy Planner Classic in the "Just Breath - Wellness" style from Michael's, the only problem with this 18 month planner is that it does not start until July 2019 and I searched the isle in Micheal's and could not find any pre-printed current months. I could not wait to use mine and unload all the important dates/meetings/birthday's out of my head and onto paper so I googled my issue and of course along with all The Happy Planner accessories there is a variety of expansion packs for around $14.00 each. These packs come in the 'classic' style so they fit my planner and come with 6 blank months and 2 sheets of black printed clear stickers with the 12 months and numbers so that you can create your own. It was a bit tedious getting the stickers off and creating my own months. The adhesive is strong and some of the stickers are very tiny so I needed to use tweezers to remove and to apply, but I was glad I bought it, now I am able to use my planner immediately and created the months of March through to June. -

I first heard about The Happy from a fellow facebook friend who posted a picture of her busy schedule one month, aside from her notes, I was intrigued by the planner itself, it was so pretty.
Fast forward a year later and last week I was in Micheal's picking up some thread and saw a whole isle devoted to The Happy Planner and it's accessories, I bought the Classic Planner for around $28- in the style of "Just Breath - Wellness" that runs 18 months and doesn't start until July, so I will need to buy an expansion pack for the current and upcoming months. The planner is easy to read and use, I love the simple monthly page and then detailed pages for days of the week where I can write in detail. I feel this planner has already organized my life and I felt some relief after I wrote down all the important dates/meetings/birthdays etc that are coming up. I like the 'wellness' aspect to it with monthly inspirational quotes and reminders to take care of myself and side notes where I write gratitude and goals I want to achieve. The best part is the accessories you can buy to jazz it up, which I have already bought.

I have found some great deals while popping into browse at Tender Tootsies. The recent steal was few weeks ago my sister and I each bought bought a pair of black knee length boots for $39.99, regular $98.99 and all woman's shoes that day were the same price, I walked out with 3 pairs.
Staff have always been polite, friendly and knowledgeable. If they don't have your size they will order them in and no charge for shipping. I also noticed that they don't hover, which is wonderful because I can't stand it when sales staff are constantly in my face, pacing and staring.
All the shoes and boots I have bought from here have been great quality and they carry a decent range of men, women's & kids brand name shoes. I recommend TT and will continue to shop there.

Anyway, I order from this site all the time. Sometimes you need to watch their pricing as regular priced items can be more expensive than usual. They always have sales and there is usually lots of items that are discounted and I have gotten some great deals. I have never had to return anything so I can't comment on their customer service, but I can say that my items arrived in a timely manner and are always packaged with care.

I think they sell for around $20 for a 3 pound bag and they are worth every penny. I like that I can trust that they are always fresh, not once have I gotten a stale nut in any of the dozens of bags I've bought. They are lightly salted and baked enough that all the shells are slightly opened. There is very few empty shells and hardly any nuts that are completely closed shells in the bag, so you really get your monies worth.

Wow I've been in awe of this gel ever since I started using it. This light blue gel is full of hydration and my skin is soaking it up and thanking me. I started out using it twice a day and applied it after my serum and before my regular facial moisturizer. It's now three weeks later and I only need to use it once per day and I could cut out my regular moisturizer all together, that is how hydrating it is for my skin. The gel is light weight, absorbs instantly, does not leave a greasy feel and has not caused any irritation or breakout.
It has softened my skin, my face actually looks like it has a permanent glow and has evened out my skin tone. This gel used in combination with an Olay eye cream has visibly lighted the darkness I have under my eyes. I took a picture 9-10 days apart and I can see the difference, like I mentioned above, I am in awe. This stuff works!!
I am thankful I stumbled upon Olay's skin advisor, where I answered a number of questions, noted my concerns and uploaded a picture of my face, this was one of the 3 products they recommended and while using all 3 my skin has done a 360 turn around.
