I did't have high expectations from this primer stick because I have some noticeable larger pores and they are difficult to hide with the best of the best primers to begin with. I bought it because a friend of mine recommended it not so much for reducing pore viability, but for the fact that it was really hydrating and gave her an almost natural look when worn with only BB creme.
For me, if I rub it all over my face and in different directions, also putting a bit on the back of my hand to warm it up a bit, I am able to get the product to actually fill in the large pores and they are pretty much gone, oh and it also reduces the darkness of the freckles that have popped up since I've been in the sun. The primer applies easily, like a silky texture and is translucent, I add setting powder on top and then foundation and there is no chunking or creasing. It also lasts for the day.
This stuff is fantastic, just because a product is cheap, does not mean that it's a dud! Give this a try!

When I was not being lazy and making protein powdered smoothies every morning I was getting tired of the same fruit and veggie blend and needed a change. My sister gave me a sip of hers which had coco powder, banana and this peanut butter powder, it tasted like heaven in a cup. She bought hers from Winners of all places, but when I went back they were gone.
I found this brand at Metro for around $6, it has 200g and it's going to last me a while considering I only use about a 1/2 tsp in each smoothie. You would never know that it's low calorie, when I use it alone or with a banana it tastes like I just put a few tbsp of pure peanut butter in, it's just so creamy and delicious tasting. I haven't tried mixing it with water to create a spread, but I'll take my sisters word - she says she can't tell the difference and neither has my 6 year old niece.
Seriously though, if you need a change in your daily smoothie, I highly recommend this powder, the recipes you can create are endless and you can't tell it's not real peanut butter - oh and I read on their website you can also use it in baking but I've yet to try it.

Gave these a try as I was being lazy in making my daily shake but needed something for breakfast. These are delicious and creamy with full on vanilla flavoring. They don't taste chalky like some others I have tried. They are a great value, you get a pack of 32 for around $34.
They are packed full of nutrients, easy to grab, drink on the way to work and they satisfy me until lunch time. I like mine really cold so sometimes I pour into a to-go cup with lots of ice. My hubby likes them too, so now they are a permanent Costco shopping list item.

I love contacts and used to wear them years ago when I was told I needed glasses. To make a long story short, turns out I never needed glasses to begin with and was damaging my eyes for years.
Anyway, I miss my colored contacts and wanted a few decent pairs that lasted more than 1 day. I found Coolcontacts by searching online and they had great reviews. I placed my 2nd order last week and received them today, shipping was 3 days.
The company is located in Ottawa and carries more than contacts. They have a huge selection of colors and Halloween type designs and the contacts themselves last for about a month. I take really good care of mine and even change the solution every few days when I am not wearing them and I make sure to gently clean them after each use so I can usually get 4-5 weeks out of them, wearing them 2-3 times per week.
I find the quality is the same as the optometrist brand I used to buy which cost quite a bit more. They have a site wide sale on right now and the prices range from $28-$35 a pair. My favorites are the 3 Tone Aqua and the 2 Tone Azure lenses. I highly recommend this company!
From their website: " We have taken steps to ensure the safety of our product, all of our contact lenses are registered as Class II Medical Devices in Canada and are approved by Health Canada. This means that you can shop confidently knowing that the contacts you're wearing are safe to use and manufactured to Health Canada's specifications."

I've always had problems falling and staying asleep. A couple of months ago I had to take prescription medication for a few weeks while I was going through a particular stressful time. But on normal nights when I know sleep will be a challenge, I rely on this brand because of the higher dosage and the specific traits, such as I know it will work and I'll be asleep within a half hour, I will sleep straight through the night and most importantly I will not wake up groggy. This is my go to sleep aide! -

I ordered off the ELF website a couple of months ago and the deal at the time was spend over $25 and you received a free palette. I received the Baked Eyeshadow called California. I am extremely disappointed with ELF and this palette, I will add that most of the products I have bought are excellent quality, effective and always surprised by the low cost.
I literally cannot get any powder on my brush (dry or wet) at all, also tried using the sponge tipped applicator and my finger with the same result. The only way I can get any powder, is to scrape off a few millimeters using a knife and still it's pigmentation is poor. Because it was free and a 'one-off' I did not send them an email, until I was talking to a friend of mine who also received the same palette and she had the same issues as me. We placed our orders with in a couple of weeks of one another, I am not sure if this was a bad batch, or if it is normally this poor of quality - I would be disappointed to think that ELF is giving them away because of this. Anyway, don't let this review paint a negative picture of the company and the products as a whole, just be wary if you are thinking of purchasing this specific palette.

I love this exfoliating scrub. I specifically bought it as a friend of mine uses this the morning she goes for a spray tan because it exfoliates so well. Knowing I spray tan throughout the summer she sent me a quick text raving about her new favorite Calgon product. I agree with her 100%, I find my spray tan does not blotch on my elbows or ankles (clinking to the dry areas of my body), and I get another day out of my tan than before.
The smell is unbelievable amazing, pleasantly feminine but not over powering. I don't need a lot, a little goes a long way so this tub lasts me well over a month using it 3-4 times per week. I find it smooths out my skin, leaves it feeling rejuvenated and silky smooth. It works well not only on my elbows, but also the heels of my feet. It rinses away without any difficulty and after my shower I don't need to apply body lotion because my skin is hydrated, I still do sometimes, more out of habit.

Normally I purchase ELF products in-store, but I really wanted to try out their Prep & Blur stick and wasn't able to find it.
First of all, their website is very easy to navigate and search for specific items. I really like the detail they add for each product, for example 'details', 'how to use', and 'ingredients'. You can also see all reviews, questions and answers that shoppers have submitted which I found helpful. A big bonus for me was that shipping is always free after you spend $25- and it's not a problem for me to load up my cart, you also get a free gift and I got a decent size palette.
I find their items extremely affordable, most of their products are decent quality and effective. The only downside was inventory, a few of the shades I wanted were not in stock, but I did opt into them notifying me via email, which I received 5 days later.
Lastly their customer service is fantastic. I sent an email 3 weeks after I placed my order, inquiring as to the status because I was told that I would receive a tracking number 1-3 days after I ordered. I did receive the number, and tracked it as far as their distribution center, but then it seemed to stop there for 2 weeks. I sent an email and received a personal response 5 hours later from one of their customer service staff, the woman confirmed my mailing address first and then indicated she would look into it and get back to me. An hour later I had another email from her stating she was sorry, but it seemed like my order had been lost in transit and she already packaged a new one and included the tracking number for the new one. I was pleased to receive such a quick response from them. Well a week later I received my original order and 3 days after that, the replacement, I didn't want to be charged for both so I replied to the last email, stating I received both and asking if they wanted to send me a shipping label and for me to send it back? She thanked me for being honest, assured me I would not be charged for the 2nd order, and for being honest, she sent me an on-line store credit for $15.00 with no expiry date. I was shocked to say the least, I never expected a credit on top of the free items in the 2nd order. I will definitely order online again in the future, I am just waiting until I have enough products I want so the credit is used up and I qualify again for free shipping.

I finally got around to placing an online Lush order and was eager to try out some of their best selling products. Among other things, I bought the Godiva shampoo bar after reading some great reviews.
The bar lathers really well, I added some water first to the bar and lathered it in my hands and then massaged into my hair, I have also used the bar directly on my hair as well. The soap cleansed my hair well and it was easy to rinse clean. I have used it about 4-5 times, there is still a lot of the bar left, but I don't know that I will get 50 washes from it.
The scent is full on Jasmine, which stays in my hair for a few hours, also the scent from the wet bar lingers in my bathroom until the bar is dried. As far as hydrating, I haven't noticed any big changes with my hair, but I can say that it's not drying it out, which some shampoo's tend to do. I do have to use a conditioner after because my hair is normally dry and I don't get enough moisture with the bar alone.
I am not a fan of the Jasmine scent, just a personal preference so for that reason I won't buy this particular bar again, but I do plan on ordering "Honey I washed my hair" bar in my next order.

I bought the St. Moriz self tanner after I saw a video review on Facebook by a woman from the States. (I love the tanner, which I will do a review with pictures when I use it again tomorrow.)
The mitt is such a great tool and ensures there are no streaks whatsoever, plus it's super cute with the lip design. It's soft on the outside and inside there is a layer of foam to absorb and hold the tanner. It also protects the palms of my hands from getting the tanner on them and possibly staining. The mitt absorbs the tanner really well, I didn't feel like there was much loss of the product while using the mitt. For the best results I use it in a circular motion and apply it over, paying special attention to blend well around ankles, bend my knees and elbows for the perfect tan.
If you want a smooth, streak free tan - this is the applicator I would recommend. I've just used it with the mousse, so I can't comment on the effectiveness when used with lotion, but I feel the results would be similar.
