We used this, the lotion and the wash with my daughter until she was a toddler. I'm not sure if it made her tired or the routine of bedtime baths or what, but after a couple months I'm sure she started to associate this with sleeping since it came right before bedtime every single night. Now I have a 3 month old son and it's the same story with him. I was worried when I bought it for the first time that it would smell too feminine for a boy, but it doesn't. It's suitable for both and it makes my bathroom and my baby smell amazing.

Even if it smelled like cow poop I would still use it just for it's effectiveness in putting my babies to sleep. If you have a newborn you know that's a valuable thing.    -
