Schmidt's Aluminum Free Sandalwood + Citrus Natural Deodorant for Women and Men
This is my fave scent so far. Sandalwood and citrus is such an interesting combination! As always this product is effective and I don’t need to worry about any harmful chemicals either.

This ginger beer starts our mood and sweet and the spicy flavour of the ginger has a bit of a build up...you can feel the bite after a few sips. Personally I do prefer my ginger beer on the spicier side but still enjoyed this. My teenage son who normally hates ginger beer seems to really like it as well! Would love to try the other offerings in this new premium line from Canada Dry. -

Schmidt's Rose + Black Pepper Natural Deodorant
The combination of rose and black pepper is unexpected but just works. Lovely fragrance and the hemp oil really soothes my sensitive skin. Lasts a fair while and don’t mind reapplying when I need to! Love it!

I received a sample of Garnier Fructis repairing treat shampoo with papaya extract in my #chickadvisorecobox in exchange for my honest review. I normally use salon brands and have fine, curly hair which often gets frizzy due to the dry climate where I live. This shampoo is made from 98% naturally derived ingredients, and was made without silicones, parabens and artificial colors. It’s also vegan friendly 💕 it smells amazing and my hair is shiny and soft from the extra moisture. It was a real treat to try this one and gave me hair a luxury treatment at a drug store price. Garnier is also a cruelty free company and is not sold in countries where animal testing is required. I received a package of Teapigs super fruit herbal tea #complimentary in my #chickadvisorecobox in exchange for my honest review. Teapigs is a British tea company founded by two tea lovers who used to work for a large popular tea company and decided they wanted to produce fresh, flavourful whole leaf tea rather than the dust that usually goes into tea bags. They also ensure their tea comes from sustainable and ethical plantations. This particular blend contains berry pieces which give the tea a nice red color and a tangy, fruity taste! I would have loved to brew my first cup earlier in the day, and take a photo in better light, but I prefer caffeinated teas during the day...this is a cup I brewed in the evening to help me relax. I’m sipping it as I write this and am really enjoying it. Would love to try out some of the other flavours when I finish this one. Check out their website for their full story! -

I received My Clarins Re-Boost refreshing moisturizing cream #complimentary in my #chickadvisorecobox In exchange for my honest review. This face cream is AMAZING! it has a barely there refreshing scent that I have not reacted to at all. It has a luxurious texture that is both thick and light at the same time. It instantly gave my skin a velvety soft texture and absorbed quickly. I have really enjoyed using this for the past couple weeks! This product is part of Clarins’ cruelty free and vegan line. While it’s nice to see this line launched, and it’s a very high quality product, I would prefer to purchase from a brand that is completely cruelty free. -

I was definitely very skeptical of an aluminum free antiperspirant before I tried this. I’ve been using aluminum free deodorant for years now but the dryness That goes with an antiperspirant was something I thought I would have to do without. I’ve tried one other product like this from another brand, which really dried out and irritated my sensitive skin. This one has a smooth texture so applies easily, I’d say it lasts about 18-20 hours without working out or exerting yourself, which is not the 24 hours promised but still a really long time! My skin hasn’t reacted to it at all after two weeks of use. If you haven’t used natural deodorant before you would have a detox period for about 15 to 30 days where you would swear it’s not working. Once your body gets rid of toxins from using deodorant with too many chemicals, is when you will see it work. Overall I’m really impressed with this product, and love that Green Beaver is Canadian, environmentally conscious, uses natural ingredients, and is cruelty free. They were founded by a husband and wife team of scientists (how cool is that?!) who wanted to create non toxic products for Canadians to use in their everyday lives. I tried this cream for several weeks and found the texture to be a bit greasy. It was moisturizing but I felt it took a long time to absorb and didn’t see any change to my skin from using it other than clogged pores and breakouts. It probably was just not right for my skin personally. I also prefer products that are not tested on animals. The packaging was really nice though! -
